Jenny's House of Joy by Norm Foster Cast

Christy’s acting credits span traditional theater, interactive dinner theater, commercial and film work, and staged readings (in person, online, and via livestream). Favorite credits include Carol Grady in Brooke and Carly (available on YouTube), Evy Meara in Neil Simon’s The Gingerbread Lady, Karen in Dinner with Friends, and Annette in God of Carnage.

Laura Garger is reprising her role as Jenny from Theatre Guild of Simsbury’s staged reading of JOH – who wouldn’t want to wear a corset again! Other favorite roles include Chris in Calendar Girls, Kate in Working, Robin in Godspell, Eulalie in The Music Man, and Mazeppa in Gypsy. Laura also enjoys directing, credits include, Love Letters, The Guys, Veronica’s Room and A Feminine Ending. Hope you all enjoy the show! It’s been a real “joy” working with these ladies.

KAREN SIDEL (Clara Casey) Although she plays a real mirth-buster in this play, Karen wants to assure you that, in real life, she is a very joyful person. Thank you, Ginny, for including me in this delightful theatrical adventure! We’ve missed it.

Tracy started acting in first grade and has never looked back! She’s been on stage, on film, but never on Zoom! But she’s thrilled for the opportunity to present one of her favorite plays about the power of friendship…because haven’t we all needed to lean on each other a little more lately?

Virginia Wolf is founder of Herstory Theater, and hopes to be live on stage again soon! Favorite roles are Barbara in "August Osage County", Anna in "NIght Sky", Veta in "Harvey", Lane in "Clean House"and...oh, let's face it...just about all the others, too!

Rosemarie Beskind has been actively involved as an actress and director in area community theaters, including Theatre Guild of Simsbury, Farmington Valley Stage Co., Windsor Jesters, Little Theatre of Manchester, and HITW.
