Leading Ladies Cast

Alaine simes (Meg Snyder)
Alaine Sims (Meg Snider) is thrilled to be returning to the Hendricks Civic stage for a third time after appearing as Deirdre McDavey in I HATE HAMLET and Charlotte Palmer in SENSE AND SENSIBILITY. She spends her days entertaining her two young daughters- which can be quite the feat with a three year-old and a baby just under six months. Alaine would like to thank her husband, George, for encouraging her to keep getting out of the house and back onstage (and for all the bedtime battles with the girls he undertook to make that happen).
Mike Bauerle (Leo Clark / Maxine)
Mike Bauerle (Leo / Maxine) is appearing in his fourth show at HCT, having previously been seen in INHERIT THE WIND (Tom Davenport), TWENTIETH CENTURY (Oscar) and most recently in PLAY ON! (Saul). Mike has appeared throughout central Indiana with several theatre groups, some of his favorite roles being OKLAHOMA!(Jed Fry), TITANTIC(Jim Farrell), RUN FOR YOUR WIFE(Stanley) RAGTIME (Willie Conklin)and LUCKYME(Yuri). Mike would like to thank his family and friends for their support, especially his wide, Kim, and his wonderful children. He would also like to thank you for coming out and supporting the arts and hopes that you enjoy the show.
Brad Ward (Jack Gable / Stephanie)
Bradley is excited to return to the stage for his eighth HCT production. Previous favorite roles have included LEND ME A TENOR as Tito Merelli, TWENTIETH CENTURY as Oscar Jaffe, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST as Dale Harding, and NOISES OFF as Lloyd Dallas. He has also directed HCT's production of THE FOREIGNER. He would like thank the director for the opportunity and his wife for her amazing support, understanding, and encouragement. Finally, not to give too much away, but ironically, I look terrible without one! (Guess you’ll have to pay attention now!!)
Kat Murray (Audrey )
Kat is thrilled to be returning to the HCT for her second-ever performance. She first appeared in the Hendricks Civic production of Noises Off in 2019. Kat would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her, especially her daughter for running lines until they can’t run anymore…
Ben Lagow (Duncan Wooley)
Ben Lagow (Rev. Duncan Wooley) is a senior materials engineer, which doesn't usually involve a lot of acting. On the other hand, he actually is an ordained minister and performs weddings! But he's a lot nicer and less judgy than Duncan is. He is fond of Zagnut bars. This is his second appearance with HCT, having performed in "Play On!" as Henry earlier this year. He lives in Brownsburg with his wife Cindy and their two children.
Marie Beason (Florence Snyder)
Marie Beason is pleased to return to HTC, having directed I Hate Hamlet in 2021 and played Betty in The Foreigner in 2018. Many thanks to her Hendricks County friends for a great experience and her husband Michael, as always. Enjoy the show!!
Bob Jessen (Doc Myers)
Bob Jessen – Bob is from Brownsburg and serves on HCT’s Board of Directors currently Treasurer. He has Acted, Directed and Produced. Has been involved in Community Theatre since 1989 and is starting to slow down due to being 74. Been there Done That, want to get over Covid 19! Bob would like to thank cast and crew for their work, and his beautiful wife Mary, for giving him the time, support, and opportunity to be so involved.
Darby Kear (Butch Myers)
Darby Kear is grateful to return to the stage with his third production at HCT. Previously he performed in ‘A Christmas Carol’ as Jacob Marley, and in 2019 he was Billy Bibbit in ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’. For the last six years, Darby has been working in the theatre across the central Indiana area, working with a variety of festivals and companies. Next year he plans to return to college to study film and media production, and continues to search for opportunities to grow his acting and directing career. I’m his spare time he enjoys tabletop gaming and going to the movies.
