About Mary Poppins

Based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins has delighted audiences in professional and amature theatres across the globe.  The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it."

Hartland High School Drama Club, Troupe 4213

The Hartland High School Drama Club, Troupe 4213, is comprised of a dedicated and creative group of 9th-12th grade students who attend Hartland High School.  Each year, our club produces one play in the fall and one musical in the spring.  In addition to our shows, our club participates in the International Thespian Society providing members opportunities to earn points toward their individual membership with the organization.  We also produce a showcase (usually in January) where student play-writes and student directors are offered the chance to showcase their work.

Our theatre troupe is not only about those who appear on the stage performing, we may have an additional 30 to 50 students during each production who work feverishly backstage and behind the scenes helping to produce the most professional product possible.  Each student, no matter their craft is a storyteller helping to tell the story you see on stage while using their special set of skills.
