Prince Tartaglia's life is filled with misery until an evil witch and her equally evil henchmen curse him to search for three giant oranges. But this quest proves more fruitful than anyone could have imagined as a once-lonely prince discovers love, friendship, and laughter when he encounters wizards, monarchs, and a wild narrator who isn't sure how far removed from the story he really is. Who Are Productions established its name during the Fall 2023 competition season. HHS Drama Club students voted for this name because it connects to Hancock High School's spirt and student section at games. Often to show school spirit students and faculty shout “Who are we?!” and the crowd responds “Hancock!” Drama Club participates in competitions like many of the sports and other activities at HHS. The drama club has been participating in the Mississippi Theatre Association competitions from 2000-2019. During Covid the theatre department took a break from competitions and started back fall of 2023. HHS Drama Club advanced at the regional Dramatist competition after a four year break. The theatre department at HHS was established February 8th 1999 and our troupe number is 5915.
