FAB-U-LAND - Show Description

One hour and seven minutes before their grandfather’s memorial service begins upstairs, four grandchildren of the internationally famous gay architect discover blueprints for a theme park stored away in his musty basement. Jordan wants to leave the whole damn thing alone. Their brother Jonathan disagrees and wishes to build these grand architectural plans. With no will and testament to be found, however, who controls the rights to FAB-U-LAND? And why did their grandfather address the blueprints to some strange man? And, uh, what’s up with that statue of a demon?

A soapy, sappy, queer family melodrama with an impossible love story at its beating heart, FAB-U-LAND asks us to remember how we wish to be remembered and to forget everything we know about those we think we know best. Challenging assumptions, however, is easier said than done. Sometimes, Hell really is other people.
