When tragedy strikes everyone begins to wonder, do we ever truly know someone?

Sophocles Antigone is reimagined as we follow Alice, and the Geek Chorus, through the aftermath of one of life's cruel turns. 

GOVERNING ALICE by C. Denby Swanson, was this year's UIL One Act Play Competition piece. While we did not advance we were able to enjoy a fantastic day of theatre and did bring home 3 awards:

We are happy to introduce the new Greenville High School Theatre Director Sarah McKinney. Mrs. Mac spent 6 years at Kaufman High School, first as the Director, then as the Head Director, before staying home for 7 years to raise her young children. She is excited to be back in the classroom and back in the Director's chair here at Greenville High School, and will be presenting a 5 show season this year.

This show makes the 4th show of our season, and was our competition piece at the UIL OAP Competition. The other four of the shows in our 2022-2023 season have been Student Written Show 2022: UNITED,  A NIGHT OF MONOLOGUES, MURDER AT THE RENAISSANCE FAIRE, and we are still hoping to present a Children's Show (TBA) later in the spring.
