The Spooky One Act Play Festival is a collection of plays written by Western New York Playwrights! Each play has a spooky theme to it and they can range from gut-wrenchingly hilarious, to absolutely horrifying. Green Buffalo Productions has been producing spooky plays since it's inception in 2018 and this festival is the show we as a company (and the WNY audience) looks forward to most every year!

During the pandemic of 2020 producers Madison, Ellen, Zack, and Leyla filmed six play adaptions for the Halloween season. We snatched up the hashtag #spookylives (thanks Juli Grygier for that suggestion!) to show our dedication to our craft and the WNY theatre community.

It is only fitting that our grand-reopening is with our very favorite spooky show! This show has sold out every year so be sure to grab your tickets before they disappear! 

IMPORTANT NOTE: All patrons must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination on the day of the performance to be admitted into the venue. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination includes a vaccination card or an excelsior pass alone with photo ID. All patrons must wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. Tickets will not be refunded due to noncompliance. We appreciate your understanding during this time.

Our mission is to bring attention to underrepresented voices in the Western New York community by producing new works of theater and providing resources for unpublished writers.
