The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon Cast
Nora Myers* (Narrator 1)My name is Nora, I am thirteen years old, and I'm in eighth grade. I have done the productions every year with the exception of the play in sixth grade. Each year I have gotten a bigger role or a role with more lines and this year I am excited to be playing Narrator 1 in the play. The cast is so fun to be around and I love the closeness that it brings between each grade level. This will be my last performance at GMS and with most of the people as well considering I'm going to a different school, but I'm so grateful for the experiences I've had. We've all worked really hard and I hope it is fun to watch. Enjoy the show!
Wyatt Thigpen* (Narrator 2)Wyatt Thigpen is an 8th grader at Grassland Middle School, and he is very excited for his role in the upcoming spring play, as Narrator 2! He is sad to be performing his final show at GMS. But is overjoyed to be working with such a great group of people! He previously performed in 6th grade in the shows Willy Wonka as ensemble and Game of Tiaras as Smeagol. He performed in 7th grade as Micheal in Elf Jr and Lawrence in It's a Madhouse. This year he performed in the GMS Holiday Spectacular and most recently got the role of Narrator 2 in The Brothers Grimm Spectacularthon. Outside of acting he plays tuba, and is an avid video game fan. Thank you to the Production team for helping him to go from stumbling through the lines at first to knowing them like the back of his hand . Wyatt would like to thank Ms. Keith for allowing him to have so many great opportunities to grow and shine. Lastly he would like to thank his family for listening to him and giving great advice and ideas. He would like to thank them for the work they've put into helping him over the past few years. Wyatt has been overjoyed at his time with the GMS Theater, he's gonna be sad to go but will cherish the memories and experiences. Thank you for coming please enjoy the show!
Amelia Bachuss* (Girl)I'm an eighth grader who's hoping to make this show's experience more fun and worthwhile for everyone involved, while also improving along the way. I want to give my thanks to the student directors and Mrs. Keith for helping pull this show together, and to the cast and crew for making this show what it is. This show has so much love put into it and i truly hope everyone enjoys it!! :)

Andie Kerr* (Enchantress)I am so excited to get to participate in my last show here at Grassland! I have done all previous plays here at Grassland including Game of Tiaras and It's A Madhouse. In my free time, I also enjoy playing volleyball and spending time with friends and family. I would like to thank my family for always supporting me throughout my shows and always being there for me!
Hudson Barcenilla (The Devil and Father)I'm a 13 year old boy in 7th grade and I'm ready to have fun. My favorite thing with these shows are my friends and performing! I've been doing shows since I was ten years old! I'm hoping to continue doing theater in the far future!
Vesper Von Stoops* (Prince)Vesper is very excited to be in The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon! She has been in previous GMS productions such as It’s A Madhouse and this year’s Holiday Spectacular. When Vesper isn’t at play practice, she enjoys reading fantasy, listening to music, and watercolor painting! She wants to give thanks to her friends, Abby, Lauren, and Grant for encouraging her to join year round drama and doing theater in the first place! She hopes you enjoy this year’s play and have a great time!
Evelyn Johnson (Rapunzel)I first off want to start with saying the GMS performing arts center has been so welcoming, funny and amazing to work with. This experience has been a once in a lifetime time of joy for me! I want to thank Ms.Keith for being able to keep up with us kids and making everything possible. We love you! James Vincion* (Prince 2)James is looking forward to his first proper show, The Brothers Grimm Spectaculaathon. He has enjoyed his time at Grassland Middle School, but is excited for his future at Franklin High School. When he is not in school, James regularly practices his clarinet, composes music, and studies French and music theory. While in school, James is a proud member of the band, and a member of the National Junior Honor Society. He would like to give a special thanks to his friends, especially Abby Maxwell and Vesper Von Stoops for being very supportive of him throughout his experience with Drama.
Vivienne Clark (Hansel)Vivienne is a theater loving girl who has always enjoyed singing acting and dancing and has been in multiple shows and small performances
Natalie Krieg* (Gretel)Natalie is thrilled to be a part of the cast for the Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, her first play. She's previously been in a musical at school for fun, and she enjoys everything about theater. She wants to thank her mom for supporting her in whatever she does!
Kara Mae Johnson* (Witch)I was born in Kentucky and I've always been somewhat dramatic. I really enjoy hanging out with my friends at rehearsal every year. I love field hockey and sleepovers. I have been in all three plays so far in my middle school career and I'm looking forward to moving on to high school next year. Enjoy the show!
Julia Rivadavia* (Mother and Crab)I am so happy to be in The Brothers Grim Spectaculathon this year. It has been a great experience and I've loved being a part of this wonderful and talented cast. Being in theater at GMS has given me more confidence and allowed me to meet more people. I am so sad it is my last year being in a play at GMS but I want to thank Ms. Keith and the cast for making these couple of months so special.
Kaidence Williamson (Girl With No Hands and Herald)Kaidence is very excited to play the Girl with No Hands/Herald in this years production of The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon. Her previous performances include Grassland's production of the Holiday Spectacular, Newsies, and Annie. When she is not performing, Kaidence loves playing piano, cheering, and hanging out with her friends! She would like to thank her family for supporting her in all she does. Lauren Martin* (Chet Dobray)Hi! This play was so fun to put on. Between the AMAZING cast + crew, our amazing production team, and the charming humor of The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, I truly believe this was one of the funnest shows I have had the privilege of doing yet. Thank you to ALL of my friends who helped me perfect Chets' accent, too my parents, and too YOU for coming here and supporting us! I hope you have as much fun watching this as I have performing it.

Kennedy Canseco* (Dwarf 1)I am so excited to play dwarf 1 in The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon at GMS. I am so utterly grateful to be in another year of the theater productions here at GMS. I’ve been in the shows since 6th grade, now I am in 8th. I’ve learned through the process to be patient and it really makes a difference to be pushed out of your comfort zone sometimes. Thanks to my family and friends for supporting me through this journey of theater.
AJ McCoy (Dwarf 2)AJ McCoy starts his acting debut for middle school after being a member of the stage crew of the GMS Holiday spectacular in the fall. Outside of theater AJ is a two time Cal Ripken state baseball champion. AJ also earned his secondary black belt in taekwondo. He also plays piano, enjoys singing, and dancing. AJ is excited to be apart of the GMS theater company.
Ainsley Davelaar* (Snow White)Last year I was in the show It's a Mad House and now this year I am in Grimms. The plays have been so much fun and such a great experience. I owe my success to my friends and family. This has been such a great experience and I am so glad that god gave me this opportunity.
Lev Anderson (Witch 2)My name is Lev Anderson, I am in 6th grade and I enjoy acting, drawing, reading, swimming, and hanging out with friends. I have won 2 art contests both putting my work in museums. I play many sports including soccer, volleyball, and tennis. I have been in many productions before this, including The School of Rock (main character), The 5th grade talent show, and The Grassland Holiday Spectacular.
Garrett Sakarapanee (Prince 3)Garrett was really excited when he got the role in Brothers Grimm! Recently Fake Santa in Elf
and real Santa in this year's Grassland Holiday Spectacular, he did not get a chance to act in It's a Madhouse because he was confused by the audition packet. At home, you could find him doing his homework, reading, watching TV or playing the drum pad. He would like to thank his parents for letting him do this. He also hopes you enjoy The Brothers Grimm Spectacuathon.
Kayley Williamson* (Little Red)Kayley is very excited to play Little Red in The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon! Her previous and favorite shows she has been in have included Mean Girls, Newsies, and Into the Woods at Act Too Players. She has danced in a new music video recently and loves taking classes every week. Kayley is a dancer who also participates in cheer. "Thank you to all of my friends and family for supporting me not only in theater, but in life! Thank you to my Mom and Dad, y'all are my biggest cheerleaders, especially in theater. Mom, THANK YOU for driving me everywhere, it allows me to be involved in my interest and means a lot. Thanks little sisters! Thanks to my friends outside of school, you know who you are, who are basically family. Y'all show me what I love and are some of my biggest supporters. Thank you to my best friends, encouraging me and helping me with anything. Thank you to Ms. Keith for organizing such a great experience for every year I've participated! Molly Childs (The Wolf and Crab)This is my 7th show and I love the community here at Grassland Middle. Everyone is friends and they are so nice. I am very grateful to my parents for rides and supporting me and my grandparents for giving me rides when my parents can't. I am also very grateful to Mrs. Keith and the student directors for giving this opportunity.
Nadia Maves* (Grandma)I have been acting since 3rd grade all the way to 8th grade. I would like to thank my best friend, Kennedy, my two sisters, Eva and Marah, and my parents for being there throughout this whole process. I love all of you and would not have even had the courage to audition without you guys. You have always pushed me to do my best. I have loved being in this show, being a grandma for once in my life, and finally, being around my cast and crew. You guys are so awesome that I can't put it into words. I love you all.
Kennedy McKerring* (Woodcutter)I've only been here for two years, but those two years were amazing. I got to make so many new friends, have new experiences, and improve as a person and an actor. Though I don't get the roles made for the spotlight, I'm still determined to get there. I'd really like to thank my friends, Nadia, Natalie, Elliot, and Lauren because ya'll hyped me up for auditions, hung out with me at rehearsals, and made me laugh so hard my stomach hurt. I want to thank the whole production team, because without you, we wouldn't have a show! Without their hard work, we would be hopeless, and we could never figure it out without them. And of course, saving the best for last, my family. Mom, dad, and even you Connor. You guys gave me the courage to give everything my all, and I wouldn't be here today if you didn't help me through it. I love you all, and I can't wait to see the 6th and 7th graders move on to create more spectacular shows!
June Peabody* (Cinderella)It is crazy to me how fast middle school went by, even though there was a lot of school in there, the play is what I will remember most and was one of my favorite parts. I can still remember the first time I walked in and I remember I saw so many new faces. Even though I was nervous, that year brought me so many amazing friends and a community of people who supported me. I am so thankful for the play and each and every person involved in it. I am also so thankful for my parents because without them I probably wouldn't even be doing the play. I would also like to thank my family and friends who have supported me from when I was a teapot, to now when I am Cinderella. Again, I am amazed that my time at middle school went by so fast and I will always remember the times I spent here at the auditorium. Thank you to all who have been there for me and most of all thank you to Ms. Keith for making this all possible.
Keira Obstein (Guard and Crab)I am a competitive dancer at the company of Nashville Dance Center and love to act and play with my friends. Theatre is the perfect way to do those things. I would like to thank my Mom, Dad, Finley, and Saoirse for supporting me and driving me around to practices to get here. Thanks again!
Elliott Rosenbaum* (Prince Charming)Elliott is ecstatic to be reprising his role as Prince Charming in Grassland Middle School's production of The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon. You might have seen him in previous GMS productions, or on YouTube, playing guitar for the band Duct Tape Prom Dress. He wants to thank his coffee from this morning for getting him through today, albeit it made him very hyper.
