I have been on Production team since the 6th grade as a production assistant. In 7th grade I had worked my way up to a stage manager working on Game of Tiaras. In my last year at Grassland I am so excited to be working with the amazing cast and crew of It's a Madhouse to make this performance the best it can be!

I have enjoyed working with everyone on the spring play this year! From 1st to 4th grade, I was in a play every year as it was a requirement at my old school. I like to play volleyball and hang out with friends when I'm not at school. I would like to thank my parents for supporting me through all this. I would also like to thank Ms. Keith for letting me be a part of this experience!

Hello! This is my fifth production that I've participated in in a technical capacity. I've run sounds, lights, and bubble machines here at my time in the Theater, and I'm very grateful for the opportunities that I have been given. I have absolutely loved learning the systems here at the school, and my time here has really differentiated myself in terms of knowledge. I hope you enjoy the show!

I’ve performed in BBK in California since I was about 3 before I moved to Tennessee 3 years ago. I have auditioned in Elf and Games of Tiaras since I did not make those cuts I still wanted to be a part of the show that is why I wanted to join crew. I really like being able to help out and being able to do all the painting. This has been a great experience for me.

Hello! I'm 13 and this is my first year at Grassland. I moved here from Costa Rica. My family and I were foreign catholic missionaries for 2 and a half years. We have moved about 20 times in the last 3 months. I play piano and I speak fluent Spanish. I want to thank my family especially my parents. Y'all have done so much for me and I could never tell you how grateful I am. Thank you Cooper, Jay, Tessa, Adrian, and David for being the best siblings I could ever ask for. Thank you Grassland for being really welcoming. Last but not least, thank you Jesus for leading me everywhere I go.

Director
Jennifer Keith
Jennifer Keith is directing her 20th production at GMS. As a student here, she was involved in several productions under the direction of the late Sandy Sullivan, a true legend in the Grassland Community. After leaving GMS, Ms. Keith attended Franklin High School where she appeared in every major stage production during her four years there. Upon graduation, she studied at the College of Charleston where she majored in Education with a minor in Theatre. She quickly found a home at her former middle school and created the Theatre class the next year. Thank you to all the parents that were so incredibly helpful during the last few weeks, her fellow theatre colleagues, especially Tori Capps at FHS, her former students that came back and helped with auditions and rehearsals, and her mom for always being willing to jump in and help at every show. She is so very proud of the cast and crew , and hopes everyone enjoys the backstabbing antics in It’s a Madhouse!

Special Thanks

So many parents, faculty, and friends have helped us make this a reality. We could not do it without all of their support. I am eternally grateful for them!
