A Christmas Carol Cast

Robert C. Beshere (Old Joe, Fezziwig, Narrator, Townsperson; u/s Marley, Philanthropist/Ghost of Christmas Present)
Robert C. “Bob” Beshere has been at home on stage since he played the pilgrim father in his elementary school’s Thanksgiving play. He studied acting and improvisational comedy as a Theatre Arts major at Furman University (‘03). His roles included Norman in Griffin’s THE BOYS NEXT DOOR and Andrey in Chekhov’s THREE SISTERS (dir. Jay Oney). Bob then studied Shakespearean literature (and acted in a play or two) in Stratford-upon-Avon for his M.A. (Univ. of Birmingham, ‘04) before returning to Greensboro to obtain his Ph.D. in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature at UNCG (‘09). Bob continued his love of live comedy by auditioning for and joining The Idiot Box Comedy Club as a featured performer in 2004. Since then, he has performed in thousands of improv shows, hundreds of sketch comedy shows, and a few terrifying attempts at standup comedy. Bob returned to the live theatre stage in 2023, playing Vice Principal Douglas Panch in Triad Pride Acting Group’s production of THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (dir. Stephen Hale). He is thrilled for his Goodly Frame debut and wants to thank his family, his friends, and his sweet pickle of a girlfriend—and everyone who has inspired and encouraged him to pursue acting as a career.
Reece Biggs (Turkey Boy, Schoolchild, Fezziwig Guest, Townsperson)
Reece Biggs is pleased to be returning to the cast of A CHRISTMAS CAROL for a second year. Most of Reece’s experience comes from Northwest Little Theatre, where she recently portrayed Jack Scott in HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, JR. and Cowboy Bob in FOOTLOOSE, JR. Reece also performed as the Narrator in OUR TOWN and in the ensemble of GREASE, JR. with NWLT. Reece takes voice lessons and loves to ride her horse. She appreciates her family for all their support during the busy holiday season.
Elim Brookshire (Puppeteer, Fezziwig Guest, Townsperson; u/s Peter Cratchit)
Elim Brookshire is 15 years old and a theatre major and sophomore at Penn-Griffin School for the Arts. He recently was Aaron Samuels in MEAN GIRLS, JR. and previously played Danny in GREASE, Sergeant Fogarty in CHICAGO, and Tevye on FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. He enjoys playing guitar and piano in his spare time.
Pierce Brookshire (Young Ebenezer, Fezziwig Guest, Townsperson; u/s Tiny Tim)
Pierce Brookshire is 8 years old and is in 2nd grade at Axon Academy. Pierce made his theatrical debut as Tiny Tim Cratchit last year and is excited to return to the stage again this year. Pierce is a member of the USA gymnastics team and was the level 4 Pommel State Champion for North Carolina last year. He hopes to keep his title as he heads into the winter competition season.
Keaton Brower (Apprentice Ebenezer, Mourner, Narrator, Townsperson)
Keaton Brower is a Triad-based theatre artist and educator. He is currently the Marketing Director at Goodly Frame Theatre and Lead Theatre Instructor at NC Governor's School East. Having grown up seeing the NC Shakespeare Festival's A CHRISTMAS CAROL and performed in the 2009 production, he is thrilled to return for a third season in Goodly Frame's revival. Earlier this year Keaton originated the role of Henry Clerval in GFT's world premiere production of Jay Smith's FRANKENSTEIN. Other credits include work in various capacities at Triad Stage, New Repertory Theatre, the Boston Center for American Performance, NC Thespians, and the Cherokee Historical Association. Landon Bryant (Belle's Son, Ignorance, Schoolchild, Fezziwig Guest, Townsperson)
Landon Bryant is a 4th grader at Jesse Wharton Elementary. This is his second time performing with GFT in A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Some of his previous acting roles with other companies have been Templeton in CHARLOTTE'S WEB, Bunson in NEWSIES, JR., and Fred in TEA FOR TIGERS. In his free time, he likes to play video games, write stories, and run.
Micaela Shanyce Bundy (Philanthropist/Ghost of Christmas Past, Narrator)
Micaela Shanyce Bundy is so excited to be gracing the stage with Goodly Frame Theatre for the first time! Micaela is a classically trained vocalist, performing arts educator, and arts administrator. She graduated from North Carolina A&T State University where she studied music education with a concentration in voice and recently completed her Master of Arts in Arts Administration at Winthrop University. Favorite credits include Marya in NATASHA, PIERRE, AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 (Theatre Raleigh), Mazeppa in GYPSY (The Prizery), The Radio in CAROLINE, OR CHANGE (Justice Theater Project), and BJ in SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE (Paramount Acting Company). Additional performance honors include being a National Soloist for the 105 Voices of History: National HBCU Honor Choir, performing as a soloist at the White House in observance of Black History Month under the Obama Administration, opening for Oprah Winfrey’s 2020 Vision Tour at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC, and performing with the North Carolina Symphony as a featured solo vocalist for its Freedom Series in 2022. micaelasbundy.com
Mia Case (Martha Cratchit, Schoolchild, Fezziwig Guest, Townsperson)
Mia Case is 14 years old and has been acting since the age of 7! This is her second production with Goodly Frame Theatre, her first being Shakespeare’s MEASURE FOR MEASURE. She is so thankful for this opportunity and hopes you enjoy the show!
Lea Chicosky (Sarah, Fezziwig Guest, Narrator, Townsperson; u/s Caroler)
Lea Chicosky is a current Senior BFA Acting major at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has most recently been seen in INTO THE WOODS (Jack’s Mother), A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM (Hermia), and the new movie HAPPY PEOPLE (Autumn). Lea is so excited to be joining this production and to be able to spread joy to the audience through it!
Pauline Cobrda (Philanthropist/Ghost of Christmas Present, Narrator; u/s Mrs. Fezziwig)
Pauline Cobrda is delighted to be returning to Goodly Frame’s production for the third season. She performed in the NCSF production for over 25 years and dedicates this year’s performance to the memory of Lou Rackoff, former Artistic Director, NCSF.
Kaitlyne Colbert (Belle, Narrator, Townsperson)
Kaitlyne Colbert is excited to be returning to the ACC cast for her third year with the production. She most recently appeared in Goodly Frame’s productions of Mary Shelley’s FRANKENSTEIN and MEASURE FOR MEASURE. Other favorite roles include Shelby in STEEL MAGNOLIAS, Sibella in A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, and Papagena in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE. Earlier in 2023, Colbert debuted her first work as a playwright. She would like to thank her family and fiancé Kyle for supporting her.
Joe Collins (Fred, Narrator, Townsperson; u/s Caroler, Teacher)
Joe Collins is thrilled to return once again to the stage in this amazing production! He has been away from the stage since last year's production. This show has a special place in his heart, as well as the cast members (returning and new) he meets every year! Here’s to another year and another amazing run! Grant Cunningham (Lead Mourner, Fezziwig Guest, Fred's Guest, Narrator; u/s Beggar/Ghost of Christmas Future)
Grant Cunningham is a native to Charlotte, North Carolina, having only just recently moved to Greensboro. He attended UNCG where he graduated with a B.A. in Theatre and has had the pleasure of playing a variety of roles. Most recently those roles include Henry in SANCTUARY CITY, the Prince/Narrator in THE LITTLE MERMAID COCKTAIL EXPERIENCE, and multiple characters for Carowinds.
Casey James Daniel (Caroler, Teacher, Fezziwig Guest, Fred's Guest, Mourner, Narrator; u/s Bob Cratchit)
Casey James Daniel is very excited to be working with GFT again after working on their staged reading of FRANKENSTEIN back in June! Casey has a B.A in Theater from Greensboro College and has worked with Mill Mountain Theater, Triad Pride Acting Company, and North Carolina Summer Rep. Some of Casey’s credits include Charlie in THE WHALE, George Banks in MARY POPPINS, Moritz Stiefel in SPRING AWAKENING, and William Barfée in THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE. Casey would like to thank the team behind this production for inviting him back to work with them again. Casey would also like to thank the loving support of his wife Amanda, his dogs Bebe & Birdie, and his parents for giving him the ability to continue to pursue his love of theater.
Tal Fish (Beggar/Ghost of Christmas Future, Narrator, Townsperson)
Tal Fish is thrilled to be back with Goodly Frame after appearing in this season’s staged reading and full production of FRANKENSTEIN as Victor. Other recent credits include Leaf in THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE and Hanschen in SPRING AWAKENING with Triad Pride Acting Company. He has a BFA in Music Theater from Elon University and an MA in Counseling from Wake Forest University. Rory Landon Goss (Schoolchild, Fezziwig Guest, Townsperson; u/s Turkey Boy)
Rory Landon Goss serves as the President for the Junior Thespian Society at Northwest Guilford Middle School. He provided comedic talent as ROGER in Grease for NWGMS’s first theatre production in April 2022, was troubled choir director Simon Stimson in the November 2022 production of OUR TOWN, Rev. Shaw Moore in the April 2023's FOOTLOOSE, and James in HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, JR. He has studied at UNC School of the Arts’ Acting Out and sings tenor in his church’s choir.
Hannah Hjerth (Caroler, Charwoman, Fezziwig Guest, Fred's Guest, Narrator; u/s Belle)
Hannah is absolutely thrilled to be joining Goodly Frame for the first time! Her most recent projects were as Wendla in SPRING AWAKENING and Logainne Schwartzy in THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, both with TPAC. She is a BA Theatre graduate from Greensboro College. Some of her favorite roles from her collegiate days are Sophie (MAMMA MIA!), solo Girl (TELL ME ON A SUNDAY), Marianne (DISASTER! THE MUSICAL), Mary Bennet (MISS BENNET: CHRISTMAS AT PEMBERLEY), Della (GIFT OF THE MAGI), Annabella ('TIS PITY SHE'S A WHORE), and more! She would like to thank her wonderful cast and crew for all their hard work and positive attitudes. David Hoggard, a recent graduate of Greensboro College, is thrilled to be working on this production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL. He is particularly excited to be the show's dance captain and ready for the potential challenge it may bring.

Sarah Jenkins is grateful to be back for another CHRISTMAS CAROL with Goodly Frame! Past productions include ALL SHOOK UP (Mayor Matilda Hyde; Temple Theatre), THE DROWSY CHAPERONE (Kitty; Little Theatre of Winston-Salem), A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM (Hermia; Spirit Gum Theatre Co.), THE GRAPES OF WRATH (Elizabeth Sandry; HPU guest artist), as well the final four seasons of A CHRISTMAS CAROL at the NC Shakespeare Festival. Ontonio Osley (Dick Wilkins, Fred's Guest, Mourner, Townsperson; u/s Belle's Husband)
Ontonio Osley is a 26 year old actor from Charlotte, NC. They've had a passion for theatre and acting since a young age and continue to pursue it as a full-time career. They enjoy traveling and working with lots of different people. Any challenge that's new and exciting they'll dive headfirst into and welcome experience of any kind, so they can grow into a better actor, practitioner, and person.
Liam Richardson (Peter Cratchit, Schoolchild, Fezziwig Guest, Townsperson)
Liam Richardson is a 9th grader in the Theatre Program at Weaver Academy where he recently appeared as Ben in INCOGNITO. Prior to that he performed in junior productions at UNC Greensboro, Triad Stage, Stagelights, and Minnesota's Young Artist Initiative. This summer he was Claudio in Goodly Frame Theatre’s production of MEASURE FOR MEASURE and is delighted to return.
David Sebren (Bob Cratchit; u/s Ebenezer Scrooge)
David Sebren currently serves as the Artistic Director of Goodly Frame Theatre. He holds an MFA in Directing from Florida State University, and a BFA in Acting from UNCG. David is currently an Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors, and a Level 2 Combatant with Dueling Arts International. He has worked professionally as an actor, director, designer, and fight director since graduating from UNCG in 2006, and has worked with companies from North Carolina to California. He currently serves on the faculty of Greensboro College and Wake Technical Community College. He also serves as the resident fight director for GLOW Lyric Theatre in Greenville, SC. Some of David’s past credits include - Directing: FRANKENSTEIN, MACBETH, FROM THIS DAY FORWARD, TARTUFFE, SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS, THE CAT IN THE HAT. Becky Shapiro (Mrs. Dilber, Baker Lady, Fezziwig Guest, Fred's Guest, Narrator, Townsperson; u/s Philanthropist/Ghost of Christmas Past)
Becky Shapiro is a thrilled be working with Goodly Fame Theatre for the first time. Having taken a long hiatus from the theater world, she is excited to put her BFA in Acting degree from UNCG to use again! She would also like to thank her husband for all his support and her two cats for putting up with her.
Mike Shapiro (Belle's Husband, Fezziwig Guest, Fred's Guest, Mourner, Narrator, Townsperson)
Mike Shapiro is a local actor, director, and writer who is thrilled to be joining the cast of A CHRISTMAS CAROL! Holding his BFA in Acting from UNCG, Mike has made a splash around the Triad in everything from musicals to stand-up comedy. His recent credits include Chip Tolentino in THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, Mike and other roles in WORKING: A MUSICAL, and George in STOP KISS with Triad Pride Acting Company, Mark in RENT with Camel City Playhouse, and Uncle Louie in 40+ Stage Company’s production of LOST IN YONKERS. When not in production you can find him performing improvisational comedy with his improv troupe The Everlasting Improv-ers at The Idiot Box Comedy Club in downtown Greensboro.
Jada Smith (Puppeteer, Schoolchild, Fezziwig Guest, Townsperson; u/s Fan)
Jada Smith is a sophomore theatre student at Weaver Academy. She enjoys singing, acting, and tap dancing. Most recently, she was seen performing as Mariana in MEASURE FOR MEASURE (Goodly Frame) and Countess Ipolitov in ANASTASIA, JR. (Krossroads Playhouse). She is thrilled to work with this very talented cast and production team!
Jessica Smith (Fan, Townsperson; u/s Martha Cratchit)
Jessica Smith is an 8th grader at Kernodle Middle School, where she is involved in chorus, orchestra, and cheerleading. She loves dancing, singing, and acting. She's in the Teen Performance Company at Dance Project and has been seen on stage in many productions. Some favorite roles include Sharpay in HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, JR. (NW Little Theatre), Marta in THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Creative Greensboro), and multiple roles in THE WIZARD OF OZ (CTG). She is so excited to be a part of this amazing show!
Laurie Suthard (Mrs. Fezziwig, Townsperson; u/s Charwoman)
Laurie Suthard is excited to be in her first show with Goodly Frame Theatre after being an active part of her local community theatre for the past seven years. She has shared the stage with her children in performances of THE MUSIC MAN, ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE, ANNIE, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and THE WIZARD OF OZ. She is grateful for her family support to take the stage once again to participate in the classic and truly loved story of A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
Axel Tolksdorf (Marley, Narrator, Townsperson)
Axel Tolksdorf is a playwright and actor whose work has been seen in the Triad for over 20 years. Returning for his third year in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Axel has also appeared Goodly Frame Theatre's productions of KING LEAR (as Gloucester) and FRANKENSTEIN (as the Creature). Last year he was Captain von Trapp in Creative Greensboro's THE SOUND OF MUSIC. As playwright, his works have been produced by Greensboro City Arts and Studio One in Burlington.
Lindsay Brooke Vernon (Caroler, Fezziwig Guest, Fred's Guest, Narrator; u/s Sarah)
Lindsay Brooke Vernon is so excited to make her Goodly Frame debut as she performs alongside such kind and talented individuals! She holds a BFA in Acting with a minor in Musical Theatre from UNC Greensboro. Some of her favorite roles include Olive Ostrovsky in THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, Little Sally in URINETOWN, and Maggie in A CHORUS LINE. When not performing, Lindsay enjoys reading, napping, and spending time with her two pet rabbits Lola and Bugs. She would like to thank her parents, sister, and husband for their constant love and unwavering support!
Mark Woodard (Ebenezer Scrooge)
Returning for his third consecutive year as literature’s most famous curmudgeon, Mark Woodard is once again humbled by the opportunity to work with such an incredible cast and crew. Regional theatre credits include work with Temple Theatre, Sigmon Theatrical, NC Stage Company, Blowing Rock Stage Company, and Ensemble Stage of Banner Elk. He is also fortunate enough to have appeared in the NC Shakes production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL for five seasons as Scrooge’s nephew, Fred. Mark resides in western North Carolina with his awesome wife, Beth and the coolest dog in the world, Ziggy.
Quintin Zemon (Tiny Tim)
Quintin Zemon had the honor of making his stage debut with Goodly Frame Theatre as Tiny Tim at 7 years of age, and he is thrilled to be back again! He's also performed in THE MUSIC MAN (Winthrop Paroo), ANASTASIA (Alexei Romanov), and THE NUTCRACKER (Fritz). He is a student of ballet, drama, voice, and piano at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, but he loves dancing the most! Look for him on Broadway one day!!!
