Keaton Brower (Crew Member, Henry Clerval, Officer; u/s Victor)
Keaton Brower is a Triad-based theatre artist and educator. He is currently the Marketing Director at Goodly Frame Theatre and Lead Theatre Instructor at NC Governor's School East. Performance credits with Goodly Frame include A CHRISTMAS CAROL and the developmental reading of FRANKENSTEIN. Other credits include work in various capacities at Triad Stage, New Repertory Theatre, the Boston Center for American Performance, the NC Shakespeare Festival, NC Thespians, and the Cherokee Historical Association. Cameron Carroll (Capt. Walton, Prof. Waldman, Hunter)
Cameron Carroll is an NC-based playwright and actor. He has written two plays and is currently working on his third. He a winner of Winston-Salem's 10 Minute Play Festival and is looking to produce his second piece. Cameron last appearance onstage was in the Winston-Salem Theater Alliance's production of JEFFREY. He is thrilled to join Goodly Frame for their production of FRANKENSTEIN. This adaptation is beautifully written, and he couldn't be prouder to be part of its maiden voyage. Please enjoy the show.
Kaitlyne Colbert (Caroline Frankenstein, Klein, Agatha, Clarice, Musician; Vocal Captain; u/s Elizabeth, Kraus)
Kaitlyne Colbert is excited to be returning to the Goodly Frame stage in FRANKENSTEIN. A native of North Carolina, Colbert is a singer actress, and playwright who has appeared locally and internationally on the opera and musical theater stage. Favorite roles include Belle in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Sibella in A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, and Papagena in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE. She would like to thank her family and fiancé Kyle for all their love and support.
Thomas Dort (Ensemble; u/s Alphonse, Walton, Krempe, Waldman, Carlisle, De Lacey)
The Theatre Bug first bit Thomas Dort as a pit violist for HELLO, DOLLY! in high school, but blue moons had to pass until, in 2019, he finally and proudly returned to the theater co-starring as Colin (a.k.a. Mr. Big-Yellow-Fuzzy-Butt) in GROW UP, BRIAN by David J. Glover. His first Shakespeare experience was as the Doctor in Studio One's production of MACBETH, followed by playing Lord Mayor and Norfolk in RICHARD III for Shared Radiance. His first lead in a straight play was as Robert in Kernersville Little Theater's production of PROOF by David Auburn. He is grateful for the hard work and efforts from all who have and will give this performance of FRANKENSTEIN life. Enjoy the show!
Tal Fish (Victor Frankenstein)
Tal (he/him) is a Greensboro native and proud graduate of Elon University with a BFA in Music Theater. He is grateful to be making his full production debut with Goodly Frame after reading the role of Victor in the FRANKENSTEIN staged reading this past summer. Other recent credits include Hanschen in SPRING AWAKENING and Leaf Coneybear in THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (both with Triad Pride Acting Company). He is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, adjunct professor, and a cast member on TLC's hit reality series MY BIG FAT FABULOUS LIFE (eleventh season now airing). David Hoggard (Soloist, Ensemble; u/s Creature, Henry, William, Crew Member, Officer, Felix, Hunter)
David Hoggard, a recent graduate of Greensboro College, returns for his second production with Goodly Frame Theatre after appearing in this summer's production of Shakespeare's MEASURE FOR MEASURE. He looks forward to this process and the opportunity to continue to work with Goodly Frame on this adaptation of FRANKENSTEIN.
Elise Kimple (Elizabeth Lavenza, Kraus)
Elise Kimple is excited to be making her Goodly Frame debut! L.M. Kirwan (Lt. Carlisle, Alphonse Frankenstein, Prof. Krempe, De Lacey)
Larry has always been, first and foremost, a performer, whether it be playing hammered dulcimer music or acting in theatre. Professional acting opened up to him around ten years ago, with PATHWAY TO FREEDOM at Snow Camp Outdoor Theatre in 2014. Since then he has performed in the Piedmont Triad with companies such as the Barn Dinner Theatre, Shared Radiance Theatre, and Goodly Frame Theatre. Larry's portrayal of Sydney Lichtenstein in the short film REBOOT won him two Best Actor Awards from the 2020 Greensboro 48-Hour Film Festival and the Golden Hour Film Festival 2021. Larry is proud to be cast in Goodly Frame Theatre's production of FRANKENSTEIN.
Shayne Maggard (Puppeteer, Ensemble; u/s Elizabeth, Caroline Frankenstein, Klein, Kraus, Prostitute, Agatha, Clarice)
Shayne Maggard (she/her) is thrilled to be back with Goodly Frame for this “electric” show! She is a graduate of High Point University holding degrees in Theatre and Spanish. Shayne was recently seen as Alyssa Greene in THE PROM with Opera House Theatre Company. Other favorite include BRIGHT STAR (Alice), LITTLE WOMEN (Marmee), THE WEDDING SINGER (Julia), and the holiday classic A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Sarah). Axel Tolksdorf (Creature)
Axel Tolksdorf is an actor and playwright whose work has appeared in and around Greensboro for the past 20 years. His work with Goodly Frame Theatre began with his portrayals of Gloucester and Albany in KING LEAR. More recently he played Marley's Ghost and Fezziwig in A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Axel also played Captain von Trapp in Creative Greensboro's THE SOUND OF MUSIC. As playwright his short plays have been produced as part of the Greensboro Playwrights Forum's EVENING OF SHORT PLAYS series, as well as the 10 MINUTE MARATHON at Studio One in Burlington.
Chase Whitehurst (William Frankenstein, Felix, Hunter; Fight Captain)
Chase Whitehurst (they/them) is glad to finally return to Goodly Frame Theatre after their first show with the company, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, was cancelled in 2020. They are a fifth year senior at UNCG pursuing a double major in Theatre and Philosophy and a freelance actor, fight director, and stunt coordinator. Chase is also currently the assistant teacher of stage combat at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. They are a certified Advanced Actor/Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors and hold a 2nd Dan black belt in Taekwondo. Previous credits include Mark Antony in JULIUS CAESAR (Studio 1), The Boy in THE WITCHES (UNCG), and Fight Director of FIGHT GIRL BATTLE WORLD (UNCW) and EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL (Camel City Playhouse).
