The Joy of Astonishment - An Evening of Magic and Mentalism Cast

Well known for his musical and magical talents, Robert has been singing, acting, and performing magic for over fifty years. It began with a magic kit at the age of 7, practicing on family and friends, to his highly acclaimed illusion shows: “An Evening with the Fabulous Blendos”, and “There is Magic in the Air, with the Fabulous Blendos”. Other credits include performances with the Mendocino Music Festival, Symphony of the Redwoods, Opera Fresca, The Lamplighters, and The Gloriana Opera Company. His list of roles includes: Both Charlie Brown and Schroeder in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”, Koko in “The Mikado”, Samuel in “The Pirates of Penzance”, The Padre in “Man of La Mancha”, B. F. Pinkerton in “Madama Butterfly”, Gabriel Von Eisenstein in “Die Fledermaus”, Freddie Einsford Hill in “My Fair Lady”, Albert Peterson in “Bye, Bye Birdie”, The Baker in “Into the Woods”, Count Carl Magnus Malcolm in “A Little Night Music”, Frank in “Showboat” (featuring magic), Mr. Snow in “Carousel”, Martin in “The Tender Land”, and a celebrated performance as Albin/Zaza in “La Cage aux Folles” (The Birdcage). Soloist: Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Mass in C Minor, Bach's Magnificat. Robert’s Magical credits include: Director and creator of magic and illusions in “Snow White, the Musical” (A musical play with original music, puppets, magic, and grand illusions), “An Evening with the Fabulous Blendos”, “There is Magic in the Air, with the Fabulous Blendos”, “Baroque to Broadway” - a concert with magic, “The Music and Magic of Robert Goleman - Close-up and Personal”, Magical Dinners (“Over the Top” 6-course gourmet feasts with music, magic, mirth, and a veritable dessert extravaganza), as well as his current travelling show, “The Joy of Astonishment”, playing to houses in northern California and Oregon - and beyond.
