Matilda Cast

Liana is thrilled to play a part in her first production at Godwin! She loves musical theatre and has been doing shows for 7 years. Outside of theatre, Liana enjoys singing and reading. She’s excited to help bring this show to life and can't wait for the experience!

Ayush is a senior in Godwin’s Center for Medical Sciences and has had a blast during his last production as Trunchbull. He has previously performed in Urinetown as Bobby Strong and Phantom of the Opera as the Phantom. When he’s not acting, he enjoys singing in Godwin’s select choir Madrigals and building robots for the school Robotics team. He thanks Mr. Solomon for all of his guidance and support over the past three years!

Nora is ecstatic to play Miss Honey in Godwin's Matilda! She has enjoyed playing roles such as Star-to-Be in Annie jr., Sharpay Evans in High School Musical jr., Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast jr., and Servant in Macbeth in the past. She can't wait to be in many Godwin Theatre Productions to come!!

Jude is SUPER EXCITED to perform for you tonight as Mr. Wormwood and wishes the most luck to the rest of the cast and crew! He'd like to thank each and every one of you for attending and for his family and friends for supporting him in his theatrical endeavors!

Senior, Maggie Schoonmaker, has appeared in many Godwin productions including Urinetown, Pride & Prejudice, and Macbeth and she hopes you enjoy the show as much as she loves performing for you. She's grateful for her time in this program and thankful to Solomon for showing her there's still hope for dreams.

Gabi is so excited to be in her 4th show! This is her 3rd year being in theatre with her friends. She wants to thank her friends for doing the shows with her.

Jason Bond is excited to be acting in a production for his first time ever! He has participated in technical theatre from 10-11 and decided it was time to hit the stage. He appreciates all his friends and family for their love and support with this new experience.

Samantha is taking the stage for the very last time as Bruce, she also helped with the choreography. She is very thankful for her time in the spotlight as well as off stage. She would like to thank her family and friends as well as the theater department for supporting her.

Kendall is a Freshman and is so excited to start her first show at Godwin high school! She would like the thank her parents for being supportive of her acting career. She is so glad to be working with all these wonderful people!

Davis has been in Godwin’s Cast and Crew since freshman year. He’s dedicated much of his time to the stage, playing the drag queen in Sister Act, Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice, and Raoul in Phantom of the Opera. Davis is grateful for the opportunity to perform one last time!

Peyton has been dancing since she was 3 years old at West End Academy of Dance, and is apart of Godwin's show choir and dance team. She has participated in various musicals, and is very excited for this opportunity to preform!

Samantha is thrilled to present Matilda alongside the incredibly talented cast and crew at Godwin!! Everyone behind the scenes works so hard and she is beyond grateful to be a part of the welcoming Godwin theater cult… she means family. Her 48th, 49th, and 50th words are… TAKE THAT BROADWAY!!!!!!!

Claire is incredibly excited for Matilda, which is the third school musical that she has been in. She has always loved musical theater, but much to Juliette’s dismay, she knows almost no musical theater songs. Claire would like to thank the Godwin Theater department for being so welcoming and kind.

He Has been apart of Godwin Theatre for the past three years. He's been in Shows Like The Comedy of Errors and Urinetown, as well as In Pride and Prejudice. His most notable roles are in Phantom of the Opera as Ubaldo Piangi and Macbeth as Malcolm. He's has been thrilled by this experience and can't wait for what's to come in the future.

Elle is so excited to be back on stage! She is thrilled to be the pigtail girl Amanda and is so grateful for the memories she has made. Outside of the school, she is on the track team and loves being with friends. She wants to thank Mr. Solomon, her coach, her dad, her mom, and everyone else who has made this show possible.

Nyibol is a Junior this year. Her love of theater started in her freshman year when she joined the class. In her sophomore year, she started participating in the plays and musicals. She has been in Pride and Prejudice, Phantom of the Opera, Macbeth, and now she's bringing you Nigel in Roald Dahl's Matilda.

Sydney has wanted to perform in the musical, Matilda, since she was in 7th grade! She was very excited to land the role of Eric. She looks forward to opening night!

Bonjour! This is Eden's first production at Godwin! She spends her time in the dance studio along with singing and making beautiful art. Eden would like to thank her fantastic family (Love you mosterly moster than mostest) and her silly friends. Thanks for coming and enjoy the show! Au revoir!

Keira is so excited to be playing Hortensia! This is her first show with Godwin Theatre, but she has done several shows with CharacterWorks. Outside of theater, she loves reading, singing, and hanging out with friends. She would like to thank her family and friends for being so supportive!

This is Juliette's 2nd show at Godwin and 4th show on the big stage! She is so excited to be working with such great singers, dancers, and actors! She wants to thank her family and friends for always supporting her! Bambinatum est magitum: Children. Are. Maggots.

Matthew has been a part of Godwin theater since his sophomore year, having been on Godwin’s tech crew and cast. He is thankful for each and every one of his friends in theater and is incredibly proud to be a part of theater at Godwin.

Maysoun’s making a comeback again to the stage in Matilda! She was in Pride and Prejudice, Phantom of the Opera, and Macbeth. She would like to express her deep gratitude to Mr. Solomon for giving her a part to play in the musical and to her mother for supporting her.

Ben is doing his first musical at Godwin! This freshman loves to sing, and does any chance he gets. He has taken various theatre classes, and is excited to participate in future productions here at Godwin!

Hello, my name is Judah, I am a senior at Godwin and I have been doing theatre for my three years here. I want to become a writer, director, or professional actor for film and TV, however my immediate future is undecided.

This is going to be Ryders 3rd play! He's had some experience with musical theater, but Matilda will be a big arm reached out for him! He has been doing theatrical projects for three years now and will continue to do more. He would like to thank his parents and brother for encouraging him to do theater!

A senior at Godwin, Alyvia is thrilled to make her debut on this stage! No stranger to the theatre, she has long embraced this spotlight with passion and dedication. This fall, she will attend Old Dominion University to major in elementary education. She thanks her family and friends for their endless support!

K'Leigh is so excited for her 2nd show at Godwin. She likes theater because of the positive community and friends she's made. This is her third show she's ever done. Her first show was Annie Jr. at Pocahontas Middle School. She did The Phantom of the Opera last year. She hopes to be in many more productions to come.

Joy is junior at Godwin and has loved being a part of Godwin theater (because everyone is SO talented)! Joy hopes you love and enjoy the show! Thank you for all your hard work and support!

Isabella Liso is excited to be a part of this musical. She is a dedicated student, playing softball and holding a second-degree black belt in martial arts. She thanks her family for their support and is always eager for new opportunities.

Adam Lyman is a sophomore at Godwin. Currently the lead in Matilda (He's ensemble), Adam enjoys joking around with (annoying) stage managers and student directors, showing off his (bad) salsa dancing, and "borrowing" people's food. He loves working with everyone in Matilda.

Caroline McIntosh is really excited to be part of Godwin's production of Matilda! She would like to thank her parents for their support and Mrs. Bell for sparking her love of theater. Theater is magical, and she hopes some of the rebellious joy on stage will spread to the audience.

Kamryn is making her second debut on stage. She has a love for acting and wants to thank her parents and friends for always being there and supporting her.

Sofia is making her debut on stage! She loves playing volleyball and hanging out with her friends. She participated in theater throughout middle school and is excited for her first high school show! She wants to thank her family for supporting her in everything she does!

Seraphena loves theatre! She has been in every production since her Godwin career and is excited to continue! She danced at Ariel Silks for 3 years. She would like to thank her dad for driving me and for being there. She would also like to thank her best friend, Victoria, for being there during auditions and for being the best friend a girl could have.

Introducing Rebecca! This may be her first acting performance, but she is determined that it won't be her last. Rebecca has always had a love for theater, and is excited to participate.

Emma is very excited to be working in this production. This is her debut and her first musical aside from ballet and tap when she was a kid. Outside from the theater she can be seen running, taking photos of the world, and banging on the drums.

Rilynn is a sophomore and currently in theater 2. Matilda has been one of her favorite movies since she was a kid so when she found out Godwin was doing the musical she knew she had to be a part of it. She wants to thank all of herfamily and friends for their support and is excited for them to see this show. I love you all!

Heyy! Sahasra is a 9th grader at Godwin and she's in the medical center here. She's been in 2 musicals and one play so far and she was in Macbeth this year!

Fae is elated for you to see her in their last performance at Godwin! Fae is a senior and has previously been a witch, a business lady, an exorcist, and an elderly nun. They enjoy drawing, playing video games, and planning an elaborate and morally questionable graduation send off.

Marvena is so excited to be participating in this year's musical! As a freshman, she has participated in one musical and a play prior to this and has some experience in tech. She would like to thank her parents for tolerating this tedious schedule and her older sister for picking her up from rehearsals each day.
