Bobby Strong (Luc Martin)
Luc is playing the role of Bobby Strong. He has played Archie in “13 The Musical,” Reverend Shaw Moore in “Footloose,” and Scrooge in “Seussical.” I thank the theater program and my family who have supported me with this passion.
Little Becky Two Shoes (Drea Campo)
Drea plays Little Becky Two Shoes. She is a senior at Gilford and has done theater for most of her life. This is her first (and last) year at Gilford but she played Kendra in the show “13” this summer at ghs. She is excited to play Little Becky Two Shoes and show her crazy side.
The Rebel Poor & a Cop (Ella Kelliher)
Ella plays one of the Rebel Poor and a Cop. This is my first year doing theatre. Thank you to all my friends and family who have supported me in participating in theatre this year.
Tiny Tom (Jackson Blendowski)
Jackson loves theatre and is super excited to entertain everyone in future musicals!
Rebel Poor (Ethan Nowack)
Ethan is a part of the Rebel Poor ensemble. This is his first show with theater and he’s ready for more. In his free time he usually plays games or hangs out with friends.
Rebel Poor (Lacey Houle)
Lacey is playing a poor character. She has been in “Lion King,” “Legally Blonde” and a few other plays.
Rebel Poor (Corey McDowell)
Corey graduated with the GHS Class of 2021, but he’s still here working on career goals in the community and joining in school activities he loves – especially theater! Corey performed in GHS’s productions of “Godspell” and “Footloose” last year. He enjoyed summer theater camp in 2020, then decided to check out what it was like to make things happen behind the scenes at Tech Camp this past summer. When Corey’s not working or performing, he loves Unified Sports, Unified Club and just hanging out with his friends. He’s thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in the theater program for another year.
Penelope Pennywise (Anna Cook)
Say hello to Anna Cook! Anna is now a senior at Gilford High School and has been in every single Gilford production since fourth grade. You may have seen her in the roles of Morticia in the Aadams Family Jr. or Ariel in Footloose! Anna also played Patrice in Gilford's most recent summer program in 13 the Musical. In her spare time Anna enjoys writing songs and helping out with the middle school theatre productions. She cannot wait to play the feisty Penelope Pennywise and get to sing about how "It's Privilege to Pee '' in Gilford's fall production of Urinetown the Musical!
Rebel Poor (Gracie Cook)
This is Gracie Cook! She is a sophomore and has been in and enjoying theatre since fourth grade. You may have seen her perform in Little Mermaid Jr. as Sebestian, watched her bust a move in Footloose as Betty Blast, and if you were lucky you saw her as the devious devil Pugsley in Addams Family Jr. She is so pumped about being in Urinetown as a poor person who is quite the rebel. Although you will only catch her in the second weekend of the show she hopes to see everyone's pretty faces in the audience :)
Hot Blades Harry (Ella DeCarli)
Say hello to Ella DeCarli! Ella is a junior at Gilford High School and has been in almost every single Gilford production since fifth grade. Ella has also taken part in community theatre, exclusively at the Winnipesaukee Playhouse. Some of her favorite roles have been, #8 in The Wolves by Sarah DeLappe and Kendra in 13 The Musical by Jason Robert Brown. She is thrilled to be in Urinetown for the second time! In Gilford's fall production of Urinetown the Musical, Ella will be stepping into the role of Hot Blades Harry. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Mr. McQueen (Jesse Powers)
Jesse will be playing McQueen for you this evening, not to be confused with Lightning McQueen. He’s been in many shows here at Gilford, and has done some other shows with other theatre companies. He hopes you enjoy the show, and remember, you’re in Urinetown!
Rebel Poor & UGC Executive 1 (Madison Sands)
Madison is playing a Rebel Poor and UGC Executive 1. Madison Sands is a sophomore at Gilford. You may have seen her cut loose in Footloose where she has played the role of Lulu and Principal Clark. She was a Gilmanton student before she became a Gilford student. She has been in several of the Gilmanton School Performances. She is excited to be in this production of Urinetown The Musical. Madison would like to thank all of her family and friends for supporting her throughout her theatre journey.
Billy Boy Bill (Shannon Burton)
Shannon has been part of the GHS theatre program since freshman year and was a part of several smaller productions through middle school. Her favorite role so far has been Principal Clark in the recent production of Footloose. Shannon is so excited to start her senior year playing Billy Boy Bill in Urinetown.
Dr. Billeaux (Brayden Taylor)
Brayden plays the part of Dr. Billeaux. He has been in plays since 5th grade. He is so ready to be in this one. He is looking forward to seeing how it will be on November 12, 13, 19 and 20.
Little Sally (Camryn Marshall)
Camryn is a Junior at Gilford High School. She has been part of Gilford theatre since fourth grade and has enjoyed performing in many shows since then. Camryn’s previous roles include Elle in Legally Blonde, Rusty and Ariel in Footloose Jr., Hope in Anything Goes, Princess Anna in Frozen Jr., and Lucy in 13 The Musical.
Hope (Maria Uicker)
Maria is a Junior at Gilford High School this year and will be playing the role of Hope in our production of Urinetown. She, while she’s not performing on the stage, enjoys surfing, skiing, and dance. In the seven years of Maria’s theater career, her highlighted shows include playing Patrice (13 the Musical), Wednesday Adams (The Addams Family), and Annie- twice!-(Annie). She is so grateful she has been able to do this amazing show two times now. She has been in a total of 35 shows and is proud to add Urinetown to that amazing list.
Officer Barrel (Isabella Cottrell)
Isabella is excited to be a part of Urinetown, The Musical with GHS, this is her 41st production. She started theater when she was 6 years old with The Streetcar Company. She has traveled all over New England participating in over 20 short films and will be working on her second full length feature very soon. She loves to sing and dance too. When she is not acting, singing or dancing she is spending time with her family and animals. She travels in the fall and winter months training and racing sled dogs. She welcomes you to “Urinetown!”
