Arsenic & Old Lace (Arsenic cast) Cast

Aydyn Berube is a Senior in High School. When not pursuing his acting endeavors, Aydyn spends most of his time playing music. He hopes to pursue music as a professional career after high school.

Jesse Powers is a senior at Gilford High School, and will be playing Officer O'Hara tonight. He has been in every theater production here at the school since 5th grade, with his first role being Young Simba in the Lion King. He has also performed in shows outside the school, including Mary Poppins and 101 Dalmations with the Street Car Company. As well as his love for acting, he also enjoys dancing, playing the drums, and gaming. He has been in multiple pits, including playing guitar for 13 The Musical, and drumming for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Carrie, Godspell, Jekyll & Hyde, and Rock of Ages. He was also the pit director for Rock of Ages. He is excited to be a part of this production, the last show he'll be acting in. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Josh is a junior who is new to Gilford this year. This would be his second show ever, his first being Fiddler. Josh would like to thank his brother, grandma, mom, and dad for always supporting him and being patient with scheduling. Thank you for coming to the show and supporting GHS PAD!

Louie Laurendeau is a senior at GHS. This past fall, Louie played Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof with GHS. Some of his other past roles include Charlie Brown in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Judas in Godspell. Louie would like to thank his family, friends, cast, and crew for their encouragement.

Oliver Green is a Freshman and has performed in school shows for 6 yrs. For Arsenic And Old Lace he is playing Dr Harper. Some other shows he has been in are Dig It, Anything Goes, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, High School Musical.

Phynn Fessenden, playing the German & drunken Dr. Einstein, is a 9th grade student residing in Gilford, NH. You may recognize them from recent previous roles performed here such as Mendel in Fiddler on the Roof, Emmett Forrest in Legally Blonde JR, Jack Kelly in Newsies JR, or down in Franklin- The Kid in Monstersongs. They were ecstatic right off the bat to take on this challenging yet funny role, and so excited to show you the final product. Phynn wants to thank Mrs. Babcock and Mr. Demko for helping them understand their character and giving them this opportunity, and they’d also like to thank the wonderful tech & production teams for all that they do to make this show happen.

Taryn has been in many musicals but few plays, so she’s very excited to be cast in the role of Lieutenant Rooney in Arsenic and old lace. She has had many roles in the past such as Belle, in Beauty and the Beast, Nala, in the Lion King, and Wendy Joe in Footloose. She is very thankful for her amazing family and so excited for you to see this show!

Ethan has been doing shows and building sets for the Gilford Performing Arts for 6 years now. In his free time he races mountain bikes

Connor Brough is in 9th grade and has done shows since 5th grade. He has had roles as Beast in Beauty and the Beast, Pulitzer from Newsies, Dennis from Rock of Ages and Callahan from Legally Blonde.

Lacey Houle is a senior at Gilford High. She is an artist and loves being in plays.

El Nazer has been part of Gilford Performing Arts for many years. Whether it’s backstage or in the spotlight. El is currently a sophomore. In their freshman year they found a passion for the backstage aspect of the performing arts. El is excited to be part of their fourth show as a techie for Arsenic and Old Lace.
