Mayah Lourdes Burke
is a Haitian-American director born and raised in NYC, who creates space for the unseen, centering bodies often left in the margins. She is so grateful to be able to return to the Ghostlight family with this story about girl power. Ghostlight directing credits include "Good Grief: A Best Friend Play", "Magical Girl Play", "The Pitfalls of Exaggerated Swagger", as well as producing the Ghost Writers Festival in '23 and the annual "A Very Ghostlight Christmas Cabaret". Off-Broadway: 24 Hour Plays: Nationals - Classic Stage Company (Director); Dakar 2000 - Manhattan Theatre Club (Assistant Director); The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window - BAM (Directing Observer); Get Out Alive - New World Stages (Directing Observer). Recently: Tariq’s Interlude (HERE Arts); STEPS (The Tank); The Wolves (Ghostlight Players); The Imaginary Invalid (Moliere in the Park). Stage Manager
Karla Gutierrez
is a Dominican-American stage manager born and raised in New York City. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Sciences in drama from the College of Staten Island (2020), she has been actively involved in community theatre and playwright festivals over the past three years. She is passionate about creating inclusive theatrical spaces. Previous credits include stage managing The Pitfalls of Exaggerated Swagger written by Cris Eli Blak, a staged reading of Magical Girl Play written by Emmy Kuperschmid, After Othello, written and directed by Gia Forakis, and 10 written by Csaba Székely. Karla is excited to be a part of The Wolves and is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this production.

Cris Leon
is a Chicano actor, based in Brooklyn, New York. Has a B.A in Film studies and theater. Cris credits include In The Red and Brown Water (Ogun Size), Young Goodman Brown (Devil) and Captain Ahab in the production of Moby Dick Rehearsed at the CUNY College of Staten Island, JD/Eros in Good Grief: A Best Friend Play, Anderson in The Pitfalls of Exaggerated Swagger and the production of John Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath (Connie). Cris has also been an assistant coordinator for the production of The Rise and Fall of Falstaff at the Ghostlight Players Productions in Staten Island. Cris is proud to be the soccer coordinator to a wonderful and determined cast! Dale Dale Wolves!

Javan Zapata
is a Director, Writer, and Actor from Brooklyn, New York. Film: Bethesda; Alberto Concrete Jungle; Lineage; Gary, Barry, Larry, and the Countess of Norale; The Sour Taste of Sleep. Theater: The Pitfalls of Exaggerated Swagger; Good Grief: A Best Friend Play; Little Shop of Horrors; Romeo & Juliet; Fences; Sweeney Todd. Javan is a mentor to many artists who are getting their start in the arts. He gives all the praise to God for giving him all these beautiful opportunities to work with extraordinary artists. And many thanks to his family and friends for supporting him, especially his parents, Leesa and Charles Zapata. He would like to dedicate the performances to his late Grandma Dorothy Birch.
