Blood Brothers Cast

Emily is happy to be back on stage with Ghostlight! "Blood Brothers" marks her second show with the company, having previously played Fraulein Schneider in their 2020 production of "Cabaret". Other favorite roles on Staten Island include Mama Rose in "Gypsy", Donna in "Mamma Mia", The Wardrobe in "Beauty and the Beast", Paulette in "Legally Blonde", Fantine in "Les Miserables," and Babe in "The Pajama Game" (with In The Wings). She has had the chance to travel the world doing what she loves, most notably as the Wicked Stepmother in a US tour of "Cinderella" and as Frau Schmidt and the Mother Abbess cover in the Broadway Asia tour of "The Sound of Music". Emily was also Helena in Michael Ching's world premiere a cappella opera version of "A Midsummer Night's Dream", and the original cast recording is available on Apple Music and Amazon! Emily resides in Great Kills with her husband and two children and works for Sesame Workshop. Kayla is excited to be back on the Ghostlight stage! She was previously seen as Martha Cratchitt in "A Christmas Carol" and did hair and makeup for "Arsenic and Old Lace". Special thanks to Jeff for all his hard work and dedication and allowing her to be a small part in this amazing production. Special thanks to Josh for his patience and for making sure everyone sounds great. Lastly, thank you to her family for always cheering her on and continuing to support her love of theater. Lindsay is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful show! Kieran is an actor, musician, and rising third-year law student at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University. Ariel Marcus-Hollenbeck (she/her) is a Staten Island native with a flair for whimsy and a zest for the spoken word. She is the Festival Producer of the Women's+ Playwright Collective of Staten Island (in its 6th season) and the Artistic Director of the Educational Arts Company IlluminArt Productions. Ariel is currently pursuing her Masters in Performing Arts Management at Brooklyn College.

Victoria is so excited to be in her fourth Ghostlight production with this lovely group of mates! She is a graduate of Kean University’s Theatre Conservatory and a Disney College Program alumni. Her recent credits include: "Brighton Beach Memoirs" (Laurie Morton), "Arsenic & Old Lace" (Elaine Harper), "A Christmas Carol" (Fan/Belinda), "Guys & Dolls" (Hot Box Dancer), "Sunday in the Park with George" (Celeste #2), & "Parade" (Iola Stover). James McKeon is a Staten Island performer and attorney currently serving as the Court Attorney to Richmond County Supreme Court Justice Ralph Porzio, and at this point seemingly needs to renegotiate his contract with Ghostlight Productions. His recent Ghostlight credits include "Arsenic and Old Lace" (Mortimer) and "A Christmas Carol" (Nephew Fred and Friends). He has also recently performed with In the Wings Theatre as part of "Guys and Dolls" (Rusty Charlie), and with Seaview Playwrights in "12 Angry Men" (Juror #4). He can also be seen regularly as part of Kill-Her Entertainment’s murder mysteries. James thanks Jeff and Josh for their work, and he thanks the entire cast and crew for the experience. #TooSweet

Rachel's fourth Ghostlight show and counting! Past Ghostlight roles: Jane in "Pride and Prejudice", Texas in "Cabaret," and Passionella in "The Apple Tree" . Though Rachel now lives in New Jersey, she is always happy to come back to her friends at Ghostlight. Thanks to Jeff, Josh, Helene and the entire cast and crew for all their hard work. Kristi is happy to be in her first show with Ghostlight Productions. She has a BFA in Acting from Wayne State University in Detroit. Kristi is currently part of the IlluminArt Touring Company here on Staten Island. She also teaches musical theater, dance, and mural making with IlluminArt Productions. Kristi would like to thank her friend and family for all of their support.

Charles Sullivan is the Executive Producer of Ghostlight Players and on behalf of the whole company wishes you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Past Ghostlight experiences include directing Five Women Wearing the Same Dress as well as Pride and Prejudice. Past acting credits include Benjamin Franklin in 1776, Herr Schultz in Cabaret and Sheridan Whiteside in The Man Who Came to Dinner, all at Ghostlight, and Big Daddy in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Sir Thomas More in A Man for All Seasons, and Ebenezer Scrooge in Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol. He would like to thank Gary, Katie, Ed, Zach, Nick, Addie, Barbara, Charlie, Curtis, Dennis, Craig and the entire company of A Christmas Carol.

Just like his "dad van", Randy is imported from Detroit, where he earned a bachelor's degree in theatre performance from Wayne State University. He moved to New York in 2001 to pursue a career in acting. He spent a season as an artist in residence at Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota and toured nationally with Dandelion Productions, National Theatre for Children and Theatreworks USA. Randy then returned to New York where he co-founded IlluminArt Productions of Staten Island, serving as the artistic director, writing, directing, performing and teaching for 9 years. After earning a master's in social work from College of Staten Island, Randy now serves as the school social worker at The Harbor View School in Staten Island and the director of camper care at Sprout Brooklyn Day Camp. Important roles include Ned Schneebly in "School of Rock", Edna in "Hairspray", Pharaoh in "Joseph... Dreamcoat", Professor Weiss in "Baby" and Cpt. Lennox in "The Secret Garden", but his favorite role is that of Daddy to Eden and Shana and Partner to Kristi with whom he is thrilled to be once again sharing the stage.

You may know James as "Frank's brother," or "Annie's brother," or "Jack's oldest brother." In this show, he wears many hats - literally. This is James' seventh Ghostlight production, last appearing as Sam Weinberg in Joe Daly's "A Few Good Men" in the Spring of 2022. James is thrilled to be part of this cast that includes so many talented friends. This show has been an opportunity to learn from his friends Jeff and Josh, and it's one he'll always be grateful for. He's also grateful for the constant support of his family - Mom, Dad, and his actual Blood Brothers Frank and Jack (and sister Annie). He couldn't have done this without Gianna's patience, love and understanding. Break a leg to the hard working cast and crew!
