A Christmas Carol Cast

Seamus Malloy (Ebeneezer Scrooge )
Georgetown Prep, ‘23 Seamus Malloy is a senior at Prep who has been a member of Prep Players since his freshman year, bringing the role of Little John to life in Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood, the starring as Richard Hannay in last year’s The 39 Steps. During the summers, Seamus has also been with the New Hampshire based Project Shakespeare for the past six years: recently taking on roles such as Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew, Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the cross-gartered Malvolio in Twelfth Night.
J. Croix Harris (Bob Cratchit, Young Scrooge )
Georgetown Prep, ‘23 Croix is extremely glad to be working on another performance in Prep theater specifically this time on A Christmas Carol as Young Scrooge and Bob Cratchit. A senior at Prep he has participated in many shows over the years. He played Friar Tuck in Sherwood: Adventures of Robin Hood, Miscellaneous characters in the 10 minute plays both in freshman and junior year, the Professor and the Crofter in The 39 Steps, Reverend Shaw Moore in Footloose, he also sang White Christmas in the Covid Musical. He would like to thank his family and his friends, especially last year’s seniors, for making theater a special place in his heart. Finally he wants to thank Mr Rothernburg and Mr Brown for their help in this show and for their help in every show.
Marguerite Meg Tiffey  (Fan, Scrooge’s sister, Marguerite (Belle’s child))
St. Elizabeth School ‘26 Meg is a fifth grader at St E’s and very excited to be part of this (her first) performance! When she’s not acting on stage or at home, she loves lacrosse and reading a good book! She thanks Mr. Rothenberg and the Harkins family for all the fun she’s had at Prep!
Ari Salim  (Jacob Marley, Boy Scrooge, Darien )
Georgetown Preparatory School ‘24 A Junior at Georgetown Prep. Ari has loved performing in plays and musicals at Prep such as 39 Steps and Footloose. He loves to sing and has performed songs like “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman and “Jolly Holiday” from Mary Poppins and "Walking in the Air" originally sung by one of his favorite singers Aled Jones. Arion loves to sing, dance, and play the violin and piano. He would like to thank his family for supporting him in his love of music, dance, and theatre. Ari would also like to thank Mr. Rothenberg, Mr. Brown, Mr. Ashur, and the entire cast and crew for making A Christmas Carol come to life.
Jack Kask (Mr. Dilber)
Prep ‘23 Jack is thrilled to entertain the masses at the prep play. A senior at prep, Jack plays both lacrosse and hockey. After a long hiatus (was Charlie Brown in 5th grade) from theater he is exited to get back on the stage.

Prep ‘24 Evan is someone that exists. A junior at Georgetown Prep, They’re participating as the Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas carol, which they have described as “one of the shows of all time”. Having participated (the best they could) in all 3 shows in the past year, they expect to help put on a banger show here. don’t ask about fanfiction.

James Stanton (Mr. Gaspar, Headmaster, Dick Wilkins, Mr. Jasper)
Georgetown Preparatory School, ‘23 James Stanton is a senior at Georgetown Prep who has been a member of Prep Players since freshman year. He has played quite a few minor characters in previous productions, such as in Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood, The 39 Steps, and now A Christmas Carol.
Grace Pressley (Emma/Belle, Rosie, Miss Husher, Mrs. Bates)
Academy Of The Holy Cross, ‘24 Grace Pressley ’24 is a Junior at the Academy of the Holy Cross. She’s excited to be in not only her first play w/ Georgetown Prep,, but of the season as well! She enjoys reading biographies and has done a variety of musicals in the past with both the Academy and Strathmore down the street. I’d like to thank my mother who waited long hours to pick me up and is such a huge supporter. I wouldn’t trade her for the world. Thank you for this opportunity and I wish the cast and crew the best of luck <3
Andy Kim (Fred, Peter Cratchit, Ignorance)
Georgetown Preparatory School, ‘25 Andy Kim is single and ready to mingle. Watch out ladies because this man is the eye of a tiger. He’s very excited to be playing the parts of Fred, Peter, and wanted, in the Christmas Carol. Being a part of the Prep Players since last year, and having three productions under his belt. Andy is looking forward to participating in this production and future ones as well. ENJOY THE SHOW! ;)
Bush Khong (Topper, Mr. Murphy, Want)
Georgetown Preparatory School ’25 Bush is a sophomore at Georgetown Prep. He’s very excited to be playing the parts of Ted, Mr. Murphy, and Ignorance, in the Christmas Carol. Being a part of the Prep Players since last year, and having three productions under his belt. Bush has played as The Investigator(39 Steps), Topper(Footloose), and Kate(Kool-Aid Man). Dr. George Hendren (Mr. Fezziwig)
University of Florida ‘13 Dr. Hendren is pleased to return to the stage at Georgetown Prep, after a long absence. His theatrical experience includes minor high school roles in Pippin, Much ado About Nothing, Guys and Dolls, and Arsenic and Old Lace. In his spare time, Dr. Hendren enjoys cycling and spending time with his twin girls, Beatrice and Alice.
Dr. Madison Hendren (Mrs. Fezziwig)
University of Florida ‘09 Dr. Hendren loves all things Christmas and jumped (literally) at the opportunity to portray Mrs. Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol. An experienced ballet dancer, Dr. Hendren is no stranger to staged Christmas performances, having danced a variety of minor parts in the Nutcracker in high school and with Dance Alive National Ballet in Gainesville, FL. In her spare time, Dr. Hendren enjoys planning for the holidays (especially Christmas) and spending time with her twin girls, Beatrice and Alice.
John Glennon, Jr. (Ghost of Christmas Future)
Boston College High School’95 Mr. Glennon is excited to join the cast for his first role on the Prep stage aside from his daily performance as Headmaster. His previous stints in theater include stage manager of both The Fantastics and a One Act festival at Georgetown University in the mid-nineties. He would like to thank Mr. Rothenberg for “casting” him, his fellow actors for welcoming in to the Prep Players, and his daughter, Sophia, for her encouragement and advice about the role.

St. Elizabeth’s School, ‘26 Abby is SO excited to be a part of this, her first theatrical performance. She has grown up at Georgetown Prep, having lived in the dorms since she was 6 months old, and has always tried to be a part of as many activities as possible. She is an avid soccer player, a lover of dogs, and has a passion for drawing. She thanks Mr. Rothenberg for his guidance and friendship, and for allowing her this opportunity!

George Washington University ‘09 Ms. Hepburn is excited to be part of her first ever theatrical performance! Despite teaching Shakespeare plays each year and attending the theater, she has never before mustered the courage to get on the stage! She thanks Mr. Rothenberg for his kindness and support and her two children for being on stage with her to calm her nerves.
