Director
Alice Hilt
Alice has directed, musical directed, assistant directed, and designed many productions in her 21 years of teaching. She has taught at GCHS for the past ten years, and this is her third year as the head director of GCHS Theatre. She previously taught and directed theatre, debate and forensics at St. Mary's Colgan High School in Pittsburg, KS for 9 years. She is a two diamond coach with the NSDA, former chairperson of Pittsburg Community Theatre, and she is a Fund for Teachers Fellow. Ms. Hilt is currently the secretary of Kansas Thespians. Ms. Hilt won the Crystal Apple last year, and is a nominee for Kansas Teacher of the Year for 2024. She has training from Pittsburg State University, Shakespeare and Company, Broadway Teachers Workshop, NSDA and EdTA Conferences. She has been nominated and awarded Jester Awards in Directing, Lobby Display, Set Design, and Lighting Design.

Robyn Hilt
Robyn has designed over 70 productions since she started costume designing in the 7th grade. This is Ms. Hilt's tenth year as the costume designer at Garden City High School. This is her ninth year as the fashion and interior design teacher at GCHS. She has been nominated for ten costume design Jester Awards and has won four times. She is a Fulbright and Fund for Teachers Fellow. She is currently enrolled in University of Houston graduate theatre program. Robyn has also served as a stage manager, props master, assistant costume designer, lighting and sound technician, director, and actress in over 50 other productions acting in her first musical at age 5. This is Ms. Hilt's first lead directing production.

Mark Van Savage
While attending Emerson College in Boston Ma. Mr. Van Savage was extremely fortunate to study acting under the acclaimed voice instructor Kristen Linklater. As well as an independent study in Shakespeare with the chairman of the dramatic arts department Dr. William Sharp. Mr. V. has acted professionally off Broadway as well as TV and Film. He has been the Assistant Director for Clue, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Kodachrome, The Little Mermaid and Enemy of The People.

Wyatt Smith
Mr .Wyatt Smith is serving as the Assistant Director for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. Wyatt has performed most recently as a Whiffle in Cry-Baby and as John the Baptist/Judas in Godspell, recent directing roles include Assistant Music Director for Cry-Baby and Once on This Island Jr. Wyatt loves the art form of acting/perfoming and is passionate about working with young actors and awakening their love for the art. Music Directing credits include, Miss You Like Hell, Evita, Peter and the Star Catchers, Oliver!/ Aladdin Jr., Suessical Jr and Head Director for Pirates of Penzance Jr. Wyatt has worked as the light design and tech director for HMS Theatre in the original production of The Tree Musketeers. He is ever grateful to work alongside such incredible directors and students and thrills in learning from them everyday!

Abigail Martinez
Abigail is the choir director and musical director at GCHS. She has been nominated for Jester Awards for Newsies and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Yeena Kang
Previous Credits: Evita (Pit Orchestra), Miss You Like Hell (Pit Orchestra), The Little Mermaid (Sound Tracks), Puffs (Sound Tracks), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (Sound Tracks). Ms. Kang is a very active team member of Band, Orchestra, Choir and Theatre. She is a work-horse and never quits. Ms. Kang is one of the hardest working people and loves the things she does. If there is anything she can do for someone she will do it.

Previous Credits: An Enemy of the People (Rose Horster), Puffs (The Narrator), Kodachrome (EMT #2), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (Ensemble), And (Ann), Into the Woods Jr. (Lucinda), The Tragedy of Macbeth (Ross). Alex is the President of Troupe 2846 and is active in Modern Show Choir, Student Council, Book Club and RESIST. Alex loves her Theatre family and encourages everyone to join.

Previous Credits: Joesph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (Light Board), Crimes of the Heart (Stage Crew), Clue (Light Board). Maddie is a Sophomore at GCHS and has been in theatre for a year. She is active in Les Chantes and Lead Volunteer at Miles of Smiles Thearaputic Horse Center. Maddie loves to build sets and help with the light board. She hopes you enjoy the show.

Izzy Frey
Previous Credits: Clue (Sound Cues), Into the Woods Jr. (Soundboard), Cry-Baby (Soundboard). Izzy is a sophomore at GCHS and is been in tech there for a year. She is also involved in Broadcasting and a plays hockey. Izzy enjoys doing sound and building sets. She is currently working on taking scenic design to our Kansas Thespian Festival this January.

Previous Credits: Newsies (Spotlight OP), Kodachrome (Stage Manager), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (Soundboard OP), Clue (Soundboard OP), Cry-Baby (Stage Manager). Rylan is a GCHS Senior and the Troupe 2846 Historian. He is involved in Cross Country, A Cappella, and Vocal Jazz. Rylan is also the Head Drum Major for the GCHS Marching Stampede. He plans to go to college for film and music.

Esme Corado
Previous Credits: The Little Mermaid (Ensemble), Clue (Costumer), The Tragedy of Macbeth (Lady Macbeth). Esme started her Sophomore year and started as an ensemble member. After her first show she found costuming and fell in love with it. Now Esme is a Senior and loves to help in anyway she can.
