Director

Shana McLain has been on staff at FCA for 10 years.  Shana and her husband, Rod, also an FCA staff member, count it a blessing to be part of this school community, both as staff members and as parents.  They have 4 children:  2 of them graduated from FCA and are now in college at UTC and 2 of them are currently students at FCA.  Shana graduated from Samford University with a. BA in Speech Communications and Theatre and has enjoyed being part of the FCA Performing Arts Department over the years, working as Director and/or Production Manager for various shows.

It is an honor to walk alongside students each season to put together productions that can be instrumental in developing students and their character, both onstage and off.  Building meaningful relationships amongst cast and crew members in the rehearsal and creative processes and then having it culminate onstage to tell the story to an audience continues to be immensely life-giving and brings incredible joy to her year after year!
