Ainsley Trevillian (Velveteen Rabbit)
Ainsley Trevillian is 13 years old and her most recent role was in an Applied Theatre production called The Journey. Her other roles include July in Annie Jr., Young Elsa in Frozen Jr., and Narrator in Beauty & the Beast Jr. Ainsley loves singing and spending time with her pets, friends, and family. She is beyond excited for this opportunity and hopes you enjoy Velveteen Rabbit!
Dan Lankford (Older Steve)
Dan Lankford is in his first show since college—way back in the 2000's! Theatre is important to the Lankford family, so he’s excited to play the part of Older Steve beside his son, Henry, who plays Younger Steve. Past roles: Scarlet Pimpernel (Chauvelin) and Little Women (Mr. John Brooke).
Henry Lankford (Younger Steve)
Henry Lankford is excited to be on stage for his second show ever! He was a villager in Beauty and the Beast Jr. last spring, and discovered his passion for acting. He is so thankful to share the stage with his dad for this production. Thank you all for coming!
Charlie Bray (Ben)
Charlie Bray is very excited to make his community theater debut with First Company theater. He has enjoyed performing at the Colorado Springs School productions, including a dual role in Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour and Audrey as a puppet). When he isn't on stage, Charlie enjoys playing the clarinet, diving, and gaming. Lots of gaming. He wants to thank his parents for always shuttling to all curricular activities!
Clara Amerine (Rocking Horse)
Clara Amerine is 13 years old and is thrilled to perform with the cast of The Velveteen Rabbit! She has been doing theatre for 7 years with various theaters around Colorado Springs. Some previous credits: Tuck Everlasting (Dancer), Annie (Duffy), A Christmas Carol (Elizabeth), Beauty and the Beast (Narrator), and Matilda Jr. (Mrs. Phelps).
Emma Briggeman (Train/Wild Rabbit #1)
Emma Briggeman is really excited to be part of the show. When not racing across the stage, she runs track and cross country and plays softball, basketball, and football. Along with “training” Emma loves spending time with her family, singing at church with her sisters, and snuggling her guinea pigs.
Christiana Hull (Boat/Wild Rabbit #2)
Christiana Hull has been doing theatre since she was seven years old and aspires to be a professional actress someday. Her credits include Peter Pan (Tootles), A Christmas with Scrooge (Ghost of Christmas Past), and Annie (July). Christiana is so grateful to be part of The Velveteen Rabbit!
Melissa Olsen (Magic Fairy)
Melissa Olsen is a freshman at CIVA Charter High School where her studies emphasize performing arts. Melissa enjoys singing, playing guitar, and going to the gym. Melissa recently moved with her family to Colorado Springs from Australia. Recent credits: High School Musical (Gabriella), Legally Blonde (Chutney), and Great Expectations (Aunt Pumblechook).
