Leah H (Ugly)Leah is very excited to be returning to the stage for her third FTYT production in her first lead role as Ugly! She most recently lit up the stage as Bob/Ms. Cratchit in “A Christmas Chaos,” and has performed in the ensemble of “Peter Pan Jr” as well as Pugsley and Uncle Fester in “The Addams Family” during fall club. Leah absolutely loves acting!! When she is not on stage she is a 6th grader at Dixon Middle School. She loves making crafts, swimming, and hanging out with her friends and family. She wants to thank her family and friends who have supported her journey so far as well as a special shout out to Ms. Ashley Kirkland for always helping her in every way!
Alice P (Ida)Alice is thrilled to be back on stage! She has loved playing roles such as Miss Hannigan in Annie Jr., Peter Pan in Peter Pan Jr., Lucy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and many more. Alice is passionate about acting and singing, and enjoys every chance to bring characters to life. Outside of theater, she serves as the Student Council Secretary at Dixon Middle School, plays volleyball, and competes as a member of the NCWAY Girls National Duals wrestling team. She’d like to thank her family, friends, and directors for their support!
Evelyn L (Cat)Evelyn is a 10-year-old fourth grader at Heroes Elementary, thrilled to be in her 10th production with Ferry Tales Youth Theater! You may remember her as Sally Brown in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Tiger Lily in Peter Pan Jr, and Imogene Herdman in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. She wants to thank her friends, family, and church family for always supporting her and coming to see her shows, no matter where they are!
Austin K (Drake)What’s quack-a-lacking? Austin hits the stage once again in this production of Honk! Austin has been with Ferry Tales since 2021, and is excited to play Drake! In his spare time, Austin loves watching films, reading, and being with his friends and family. Austin would like to thank his family and friends for always being there for him and Mrs. Kristina for the opportunity to act in the production.
Savannah K (Queenie)This is Savannah’s seventh show with Ferry Tales Youth Theater. Each show deepens her love for the stage and all things theater! She is thrilled to be playing Queenie in “Honk”- the sophisticated (and a bit snobbish) cat who enjoys the domesticated life rather than roughing it in the barnyard. She is excited to finish out her last few weeks in elementary school and looks forward to joining her sister in Middle School next year! Outside of theater, Savannah is excited to spend the summer swimming and playing with her puppy, Piper.
Marlow B (Lowbutt)Marlow is a fifth grader at North Topsail Elementary and is thrilled to be playing the role of Lowbutt in FTYT’s production of Honk! She loves being on stage and is so grateful to FTYT for the opportunity to do her favorite things—sing, dance, and perform! Marlow’s past roles include Dory in Finding Nemo, Jr., Cecco in Peter Pan Jr, and Christmas Past in A Christmas Chaos. She would like to thank her directors, family, and friends for all their love and support. Enjoy the show!
Madison S (Maureen)Madison is thrilled to take the stage again with Ferry Tales Youth Theater in HONK!. Her past credits include Young Scrooge/Boy in Christmas Chaos, Brave Girl in Peter Pan Jr, Church Lady in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Nora in Dinner at Eight, Dead by Nine, and Orphan in Annie Jr. She loves rehearsing, learning and performing with her best friends. Madison is a 5th grade student at Dixon Elementary and excited to start middle school next year at DMS, where she will be joining band and continuing to perform with this fantastic group at FTYT.
Alivia B (Henrietta)Alivia is thrilled to take the stage as Henrietta! This marks her 7th production with Ferry Tales Youth Theater, where she has loved every moment of learning, growing, and performing. A compassionate soul, she volunteers at Peaceful Pastures, Equine Assisted Therapy and finds joy in serving others through her deep faith and love for God. When she’s not on stage, she enjoys singing, spending time with her mom and sisters, and spreading kindness wherever she goes. She’s grateful for the support of her family, friends, and theater family.
Whitney (Grace)Whitney is becoming a seasoned veteran with the Ferry Tales Youth Theater. She has appeared in Seussical Jr., The Tale of Snow-White, Christmas Shorts, and The Hallmarks of Horror. She portrayed a heart-warming “Molly” in Annie Jr. and Detective Monk in Dinner at 8 Dead by 9. She embodied Morticia Addams for Fall Club and was Petra in Christmas Chaos. Whitney was most recently Coral in Finding Nemo Jr. Whitney. She has danced with Dance Express, most recently Lejeune Dance Company. She has played violin at Star Studded Voices showcases. She has participated in many parades. Whitney loves to sing, dance, and spend time with friends!
Evan B (Bullfrog)Evan has enjoyed working on HONK! with FTYT. His recent projects include Beast in Beauty as the Beast and Santa in North Pole’s Got Talent, both with Jacksonville Performing Arts. When he’s not on stage, Evan attends Heroes Elementary School. In his free time, he enjoys playing flag football and leading his neighborhood theater troupe, Backyard Productions.
Arlene E (Turkey)Arlene is very excited to be starring as Turkey in this amazing production. She has most recently performed as The Ghost of Christmas Present in Christmas Chaos. Arlene’s favorite role was when she starred as Snoopy in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. She has also previously performed as Tourist in Finding Nemo Jr., Pirate ensemble in Peter Pan Jr., and Connie in the Best Christmas Pageant Ever. In her free time Arlene is either reading, doing some kind of craft, or practicing her bass clarinet.
Ruthie R (Greylag)Ruthie is very excited to be portraying Greylag in Honk! Some of her favorite shows she’s been in are Annie Jr, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Peter Pan Jr, and A Christmas Chaos. When she is not acting, you can always find her reading, skiing, coding, hanging out with her friends, and solving her Rubik’s cube.
Cora A (Dot)Cora is very excited to be a part of Honk! This is her fifth show with FTYT. She is a fifth grader at Dixon Elementary School. When not acting, Cora enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, reading, and playing the violin. She’d like to thank the entire FTYT family for all their support this past year. Her love for acting is because of all FTYT has done to encourage her along the way. Cora would also like to thank her family for their love and support.
Phoenix A (Beaky)Phoenix Anderson is thrilled to be back on stage at FTYT for her third theatrical performance! A third grader at North Topsail Elementary, Phoenix made her debut as Narrator in A Christmas Chaos and recently appeared as Nemo in Finding Nemo. When she grows up, she hopes to be a lead on Broadway. She thanks Ms. Kristina, her cast mates, her friends, and her family for their support. Enjoy the show!
Emmy G (Fluff)Emmy has had so much fun playing Fluff in her fourth role at Ferry Tales! She loves everything about theater and has enjoyed learning how shows come together, from helping behind the scenes to making people laugh on stage. When she’s not acting, Emmy likes to sketch comics and make cool crafts out of anything she can find. She’s thankful to her family, Kristina, Jenna, and the rest of the Ferry Tales team for always cheering her on and helping her do what she loves.
Olivia H (Downy)Olivia is very outgoing and loves to be on stage. This will be Olivia’s 3rd production with FTYT. Olivia previously participated in Peter Pan Jr. and Finding Nemo Jr. Both productions have instilled a new love of the stage. Olivia is a 2nd grader at Dixon Elementary School. She also loves acro, dancing, basketball, swimming, and being silly with her friends.
Wren T (Billy)Wren is excited to be cast as a duckling in Honk! She is a rising 5th grader and also enjoys soccer, horseback riding and spending time with her friends and family.
Lainie R (Penny)Lainie is so exited to be portraying Penny in FTYT's production of Honk! Some of her favorite plays that she has been in are The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Peter Pan Jr, and A Christmas Chaos. When not on stage, some of her favorite activities are baking, hanging out with her friends, going to her youth group, reading, skiing, and surfing. She wants to thank all of her family for driving her to rehearsals and being so supportive of her!
Ellie S (Jaybird)Ellie is excited for her acting debut in Honk! She enjoyed learning about acting techniques from the Fall Club at FTYT. She is a fourth grader, and her favorite subject is English. She enjoys reading, playing outside and hanging out with friends. She wants to be an actress when she grows up.
La'nea B (Mother Swan; Pink Foot)La'nea is thrilled to be Mother Swan and Pinkfoot in HONK! She has gained a lot of experience by working stage crew in Annie Jr, on stage in the Hallmarks of Horror, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Peter Pan Jr and a Christmas Chaos. She has also been in Shrek the Musical and Disney Sing Out Loud with JPA. She sings in her church choir at Infant of Prague. She is very active in school playing basketball and volleyball for IOP and has played sand volleyball and softball for Onslow County. Thanks to all of her family and friends for supporting her singing and acting!
Sophie B (Barnacles)This is Sophie’s second year with Ferry Tales and she LOVES it. When she’s not singing and dancing she’s either finishing her last year in elementary school, spending time with her family, or with her fellow Girl Scouts. She also enjoys spending anytime she’s not in Sneads Ferry at “Mickey’s House.”
Connor H (Father Swan; Snowy)Connor is happily making his debut in Ferry Tales’ production of Honk! When he’s not doing schoolwork or extracurriculars, he can usually be found drawing or sleeping. He wants to thank his friends for giving him encouragement to discover theater.
Elle F (STAGE CREW)Elle is a rising 4th grader at NTE and is excited to be part of the Honk! stage crew—her very first time working behind the scenes! She loves drawing, listening to music, and playing video games with her friends and cousin. Elle is full of creativity and dreams of becoming an animator one day. She’s thankful her parents signed her up for this opportunity and is excited to see where her theater journey takes her—all while enjoying her summer break!
Leona N (STAGE CREW)After attending the production of Finding Nemo, Leona knew she wanted to be a part of what the Ferry Tales Youth Theater was doing in our community! Leona loves to craft and thought being a part of the stage crew would be a great way to dip her toes and has loved every minute. We can’t wait to watch her blossom in this space!
Caroline P (STAGE CREW)This is Caroline’s second stage crew experience with Ferry Tales Youth Theater. Caroline is currently a fifth grader at Dixon Elementary. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, gaming, crafting, and being outdoors. She’s looking forward to future productions with FTYT.
