Lori Russo
Lori is thrilled to be presenting Lungs here in Sacramento. She in the recent past also directed Brilliant Traces at the 3 Penny and The Clean House at Big Idea Theatre. Regionally Lori has directed Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Twist, Pulso Argentino, which she also produced and Guys and Dolls as Assistant Director. As an actor, Lori has toured with the Broadway National tours of Meet Me In St. Louis, 42St and Elvis Lives. Some of her New York Regional Credits include: Abingdon Theater (The Seagull), Ensemble Studio Theater(Serendib), Blue Heron(Mother), Pantheon Theater(Mrs. Dally has a Lover),New York Theatre Festival (The Baby Monitor),Gloria Maddox (Escape From Happiness) Theater. Regionally Lori has worked at Westwood Playhouse, Sierra Repertory Theater, Lost Nation Theater, Strike Repertory Theater, Santa Barbara Theater Festival. Locally, Lori has performed at Capital Stage (Good People),(Superior Donuts), SRT(The Glass Menagerie)(Vanya, Sonia, Masha & Spike), STC where Lori was Broadwayworld’s Best Actress recipient for her role of Katherine at production of Mothers And Sons, California Stage ,she won the Elly Award as Best Actress for her role as Isadora Duncan in, Love Isadora. As a Choreographer Lori has choreographed numerous musicals, plays, production shows, videos around the country most notably, New York Premiers of Captain’s and Courage by Isreal Horowitz, Bus to Buenos Aires by Tom Mizer and Curtis Moore and Unwritten Song by Romulus Linney. Lori Teaches Scene Study with Viola Spolin techniques, as well as Movement for the Actor. She is represented by JETalent.

Dani Walsh
Dani Walsh is an accomplished local actress, stage manager, and small business owner of Of Land And Sea Co. She has stage managed multiple productions in Sacramento and has acted in several short films in the area including “Becoming Zombie” – premiering this year at A Place Called Sacramento film festival. John Ewing
John has been acting, directing and designing for live theatre for over 30 years. He has designed sets for numerous area productions, including “Life Sucks,” “The Moors,” “The Clean House,” “Silent Sky” and “Trevor” (Big Idea Theatre); “Elf the Musical” (Woodland Opera House); “Titus Andronicus,” “Lombardi” and “August Osage County” (The Alternative Arts Collective); “Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean” (Errant Phoenix Productions); and more. John’s directing credits include the Elly award-nominated “Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean” (Errant Phoenix Productions); “Grand Hotel” (Green Valley Theatre); “Rent” and the Elly Award winner “Chicago” (Davis Musical Theatre Company). John will be directing “One Slight Hitch” for Chautauqua Playhouse in 2024. Past acting credits include “The Real Inspector Hound” and “The Elephant Man” (Chautauqua Playhouse), “Of Mice and Men” (Woodland Opera House) and “The Self-Unseeing” (Happy Hour Theatre). John also serves as a judge for the San Juan Theatre Festival. John would like to thank his husband Keith for his patience and love while he relentlessly pursues his theatrical passion.

So thrilled to have this little gem of a show on The Ooley Stage. As a producer, I have long been working with individuals who have a dream project and want to see it fulfilled. This is what The Artist's Collective is all about. Be you a writer, director, actor, and yes, all you amazing talent behind the scenes too! We want to find projects that speak to your heart and help you put it out there. We thank Lori and her team of wonderful crew for doing this show with us at The Ooley Theatre!
