Lori Rohr (Elizabeth I, Queen of England)
Lori received dual Best Leading Actor in a Female Role nominations for her portrayals of "Martha" in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and "Frankie" in Frankie & Johnny In The Clair De Lune, both from Elsinore's inaugural season. In addition to her lengthy list of stage credits, Lori recently appeared on Chicago P.D.
Marisa Snook (Mary Stuart, former Queen of Scotland)
Marisa’s recent stage performances include “Countess Andrenyi” in Murder on the Orient Express, “The Spirit of Christmas Present” in A Christmas Carol, and “Belinda” in Noises Off (all Theatre 121). Marisa has a BA in Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University and has studied theatre and film in London, Seattle and Chicago.
Jamie Ewing (Earl of Leicester)
In Elsinore's first season, Jamie received the Lou Award for Best Leading Actor in a Male Role for his portrayal of "Johnny" in Frankie & Johnny in the Clair De Lune as well as a second nomination for "George" in Elsinore's first production, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? A veteran stage & screen actor, Jamie also had a recurring role on NBC's Chicago P.D. and can currently be seen in the award-winning film Confessions.
Evin McQuistion (Mortimer)
Evin has worked with the Utah Shakespeare Festival (“Leonato” in Much Ado About Nothing) as well as Chicago-area companies such as Redtwist Theatre (“Chorus Leader” and “Haimon U/S” in Antigone), Edge of the Wood Theatre (“John Proctor” in The Crucible), Glass Apple Theatre (“Harker” and “Dracula U/S” in Orson Welles' Dracula, “Miles” in When All Of This Is Over), and Three Brothers Theatre (“Deb in Accounting” in Muffed). In the Elgin area, Evin has performed with Goodly Creatures Theatre in their Shakespeare in the Parks series (“Antonio” in The Tempest, “King Ferdinand” in Love's Labour's Lost)
Gabor Mark (Lord Burleigh)
Gabor has been performing on stage for 30 years. Some of his favorite theatrical roles include “John Adams” in 1776, “Elliot Chase” in Private Lives and “Juror 8” in Twelve Angry Men. He studied acting at Columbia College and Act One Studio in Chicago.
Derek Cook (Talbot/Melvil)
Derek’s most recent work includes playing “Mayor Jim Cargan” in Seven Keys to Baldpate (Wheaton Drama), “Scanlon” in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Parker Players), “James Lingk” in Glengarry Glen Ross and “Aaron Ehrlich” in Daisy (both at the Village Theatre Guild).
Arlene Arnone (Hanna Kennedy)
Arlene’s favorite roles include “Jeanette” in The Last of the Red Hot Lovers, ”Madam Arcarti” in Blithe Spirit and “Mrs. Higgins” in My Fair Lady (Curtain Call Playhouse) as well as “Jesse” in Calendar Girls (Theatre of Western Springs). In Elgin, Arlene has also appeared in ETC's Over the River and Through the Woods (“Emma”) and Over The Tavern (“Sister Clarissa”).
Mark Brewer (Amias Paulet)
Mark received a nomination for Best Supporting Performer in a Play from Broadway World Chicago for "Martini" in One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest (Parker Players). Other credits include "Otis" in Suite Surrender and "Juror 10" in 12 Angry Men (Parker Players), "Otto Frank" in The Diary of Anne Frank, "Brian" in The Shadow Box, "Chaplain" in Mother Courage and Her Children, and "Charlie" in The Foreigner (Oakton Community College).
Frank Rose (Drury/ Bellievre/ Davison/ Page)
Frank is an actor, director, and teacher. Recent stage credits include "Narrator" in the one-man play Every Brilliant Thing, "Michael" in Tick...Tick...BOOM! (point2productions), and "iZak" in Shelter (Otherworld Theatre Company). Recent directing credits include Heathers: The Musical and The Wolves with point2productions and Theory of Relativity and Clue: On Stage with School District U-46.
Hunter Johnson (Aubespine/ O’Kelly/ Officer/ Kent)
Hunter is an actor based in Lincoln Park, Chicago, with an M.A. in Acting and Contemporary Performance Making from Columbia College Chicago and a B.A. in Theatre Performance from Cedarville University. His most recent credits include Inherit the Wind (“E.K. Hornbeck”, The Theater Lab) and Trade Federation (“Obi-Wan Kenobi”, Otherworld Theatre Company).
