About DTASC 100th Anniversary Gala

This formal event celebrates 100 years of DTASC festivals, and is a chance to see old friends, make new ones, and record your memories of DTASC to put on our YouTube site.

The Drama Teachers' Association of Southern California (DTASC) held its first Shakespeare Festival in 1920. For a number of years, it was Shakespeare only. Later they added the Fall Festival, with modern plays. Event variations for the coming year are selected at the June business meeting.

This Gala was originally planned for 2020, which would have been exactly 100 years. However, the pandemic interfered, and we had to postpone, but it's really happening this year! So come join us!
