Tim Solarek (King Arthur)
Tim Solarek has been performing in the NEPA area for nearly a decade. He has been seen in numerous productions over this time. Some of Tim’s most memorable roles include Aldolpho “The Drowsy Chaperone”, Lt. Kaffee “A Few Good Men”, King Philip of France “The Lion in Winter”, Sam Byck “Assassins”, Philip Lombard “And Then There Were None”, E.K. Hornbeck “Inherit the Wind”, Jerry “Zoo Story”, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart “Amadeus”, Nick “Who’s Afraid of Viriginia Woolfe”, John Proctor “The Crucible”, and Hamlet “The Tragedy of Hamlet”. When not on stage, or spending time at the Lehigh Gorge, Tim works as the Director of Admissions and Community Outreach at Fritzingertown Senior Living Community in Drums.
Scott Colin (Sir Robin)
SCOTT COLIN (Sir Robin et al) has 42 years’ experience with theatre at all levels, performing in professional and amateur productions across the US and in three foreign countries. He was recently seen on the DMPW stage in The Music Man (Harold Hill), Matilda (Mr. Wormwood) and Evil Dead (Good ‘ol Reliable Jake). Some of his favorite roles in the area include Lord Farquaad in Shrek [NEPTA – Best Supporting Actor] (Theatrical Gems), Grasshopper in James and the Giant Peach (Grove/Ritz), Dennis Dupree in Rock of Ages, Hamlet in JazzHamlet [NEPTA – Best Lead Actor] (LTWB), John Wilkes Booth in Assassins (PTPA), Williamson in Glengarry Glen Ross (Diva), and Jerry Lukowski in The Full Monty (Music Box). Scott is currently employed at Misericordia University where he has worked as a disability services coordinator since 2009, and is a proud veteran of the United States armed forces (USN 1989-1993; USNR 1999-2003) Scott served in Operation Desert Storm, and performed two tours in Bahrain and its surrounding area supporting Operation Desert Freedom. He is also proud to be the current sitting president for The Northeast Pennsylvania Theatrical Alliance. He would like to thank his amazing wife, the beautiful and talented, Jessica, and his amazing son, Colin, for all their support.
Matt Williams (Sir Lancelot)
This is Matt's 1st performance here at DM Performance Works. He has been involved with local theater since 2016 both on and off the stage in many different roles involved in putting on shows for the audience to enjoy. Currently lives in Dallas ,42 and has a 12 year old son and 2 cats.
Joelle Witner (Lady of the Lake)
Co-Founder of PTPA in 1997 and DM Performance Works in 2009, Joelle is a stage veteran who has performed in, directed, and choreographed over 150 productions. Some of her most prized roles are as Eva Peron in Evita, Virgina Woolf in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Donna in Mamma Mia, Queen Eleanor in The Lion in Winter, the Witch in Into the Woods, and Maria in The Sound of Music. She performs with the regional show band 70s Flashback as the female lead singer and owns Drama in Motion Studio of Performing Arts where she has been teaching dance for over 30 years. She is honored to share the stage with some of her very favorite local actors. Thank you for supporting the arts and live theater!
Matthew Fulkerson (Sir Galahad)
Matt Fulkerson is very excited to part of Spamalot once again. He is a Veteran to to stage and has a lot of shows under his belt. He is a Graduate from Kutztown University with a BA other theater and a musical theater minor. His film credits include background work in Bull on CBS and the FBI drama Quantico.
Chris Laundry (Patsy et al)
Chris Laundry is excited to perform in his first show as Patsy at DM Performance Works. Chris has been performing in shows since 2009 when he debuted in Jekyll & Hyde at the Music Box in Swoyersville. Some of his favorite roles have been Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, Moonface Martin in Anything Goes, and Roger Debris in The Producers at PTPA. He recently just reprised his role as Uncle Fester in Addams Family at the Music Box where he also performed as Hysterium in A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum and was nominated for a NEPTA. Chris has been involved in all aspects of theatre from ensemble to lead to behind the scenes roles such as stage manager and director and has also performed in a few pits. Chris looks forward to making you all laugh today as you enjoy our silly Troupe as we set out on our Quest for the Holy Grail!
Jude Witner (Herbert et al)
Jude is an 12th grade student at Hazleton Area High School where he plays in the drum line for the Marching Cougars. He was last seen in Nemo Jr as Marlin and will be featured as Herbert in our upcoming production of Spamalot in September. Some other favorite roles are Jack kelly in Newsies Jr, Ren in Footloose, Horton in Seussical Jr. In his spare time he enjoys creating music. Thanks to his fellow cast mates and all who put time into creating shows for our community.
Adam Randis (Sir Bevedere et al)
is a 25+ year veteran of Northeastern & Central PA theatre on stage, behind the scenes, and in the director’s chair; he also serves as the Artistic Director of the Pennsylvania Theatre of Performing Arts in Hazleton. Notable acting credits include having played both John Adams and John Dickinson in multiple productions of 1776, Hercule Poirot in Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express, the eponymous demon barber in Sweeney Todd, Polonius in Hamlet, and Cogsworth in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Adam has Bachelor's and Master's degrees in History and Education and teaches at Luzerne County Community College.
Kelly Krieger (Tim the Enchanter)
Kelly is an actor and director located in New York. He is a recent graduate of The University of the Arts, earning a degree in directing for the stage. Notable credits include: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Pseudolus), Peter and the Starcatcher (Black Stache), Rent (Mark), Spring Awakening (Moritz), Chicago (Billy Flynn), Les Misérables (Javert), Matilda the Musical (Mr. Wormwood), The Addams Family (Gomez Addams), The SpongeBob Musical (Sheldon J. Plankton), You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown), The Little Mermaid (Ursula), Hand to God (Jason/Tyrone), Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), Urinetown (Officer Lockstock), The Sound of Music (Max Detweiler), A Christmas Story the Musical (The Old Man), Titanic the Musical (Andrews), Cabaret (The Emcee), Rock of Ages (Lonny) and Heathers the Musical (JD- NEPTA Award Winner). Hope Bridges (Dancing Girl)
Hope Bridges is a 17 year old high school senior at Hazleton Area Arts and Humanities Academy. She is a part of the dance studio and enjoys choreographing and teaching dances to her classmates. She has been taking dance at DMPAS under Joelle Witner and Phyllis Columbo for 13 years. She has had roles such as Zazu in The Lion King Jr. and Grimsby in The Little Mermaid Jr. She loved working with the cast and crew of Spamalot. Break a leg everyone.
Mary Yanuzzi (Dancing Girl)
Mary is 16 years old and is going to be a junior at Hazleton Area Arts and Humanities. She has always had a deep love for theater and has been in over 20 theatrical performances. Some of Mary’s favorite roles include Katherine Plumber (Newsies Jr.), Liesl (Sound of Music), and Wendy Jo (Footloose). Other than theater, she also loves dance, and has been dancing since the age of three. She is currently on the Motion Makers dance competition team at DMPAS. Mary is so happy to be a part of such an amazing cast and crew,
Ruth Huey (Dancing Girl)
Ruth will be a 10th grade student at Commonwealth Charter Academy (CCA) cyber school. She has been involved with theater since she was 7 years old. She takes dance classes with Drama in Motion and performs theater with both Drama in Motion and PTPA.
Julia Dessoye (Dancing Girl)
Julia Dessoye (Rachel): Julia is 15 years old and a 10th grade student at Crestwood High School. She most recently landed lead roles as Gertrude McFuzz in Suessical and was in the Newsies, and as middle Elsa in Frozen, Amanda in Matilda, and Tiger Lily in Peter Pan with DM Performance Works. Julia loves dancing , laughing, running, swimming and spending time with her friends and family.
Taryn Leonard (Dancing Girl)
Taryn Leonard is a 9th grade student at the Hazleton Area Academy of Sciences. She has appeared in multiple productions with some of her favorites being Matilda, Finding Nemo Jr. and Newsies Jr. She is a dance student at DMPAS as part of the Motion Makers Senior competitive dance team. She studies all forms of dance under the direction of Phyllis Columbo, Joelle Witner and Cali Solarek. She is especially excited to perform in the upcoming production of Nutcracker presented by DMPAS this December. She'd like wish everyone good luck and Break a Leg!
Vivian Santiago (Dancing Girl)
Vivian is 17 years old and attends the Hazleton Area Arts and Humanities Academy partaking in the drama studio. Vivian’s previous roles include Ms.Duvall (Mean Girls Jr.), Coral (Finding Nemo Jr.), and Ancestor (The Addams Family), where she won the 'Best Team Player' award. She is a 3 year member of the HAHS Marching Cougars and colorguard captain. Along with marching band, she can be seen with the HAHS Symphonic Band playing French horn or marimba. She is also a member of National Honor Society. Vivian is so excited to be apart of this show!
Kailyn MacCollum (Dancing Girl)
Kailyn is an 8th grade honors student at Maple Manor Elementary Middle School. She was last seen as Glinda the Good Witch in The Wizard of Oz at Nuremberg Community Players. A few of her more notable roles are: Clarice in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer the Musical (NCP), Herb in Godspell (NCP), Gil in Finding Nemo Jr. (DMPW), Bird Girl/Wickersham in Seussical (DMPW), Alice in Matilda the Musical (DMPW), Jane Banks in Mary Poppins Jr. (NCP), Young Elsa in Frozen Jr. (DMPW) and Simba in Lion King Kids (PTPA). Kailyn currently takes dance lessons (ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and musical theater) with Drama in Motion. Kailyn is part of the Maple Manor chorus and select chorus. She also participates in Student Council, Book Club, Ecology Club, Drama Club and SADD at school. This school year she plans on trying out the drums in her school band. Kailyn and her family extend a big Thank You as always to the DMPA family for giving Kailyn the opportunity to be part of this awesome cast and amazing show.
Kylee Swantek (Dancing Girl)
Kylee is in 8th grade at Holy Family Academy, where she is a member of the NJHS and Student Council. She takes dance and vocals at DMPAS where she is on the competition team Motion Makers. Spamalot will be her 6th performance with DM Performance Works Factory. Her hobbies include dancing, singing, softball and hanging out with her friends. She is looking forward to also performing in Shrek Jr and upcoming Nutcracker. She is very happy to join the cast of Spamalot!
