Presented by Theatre 202, Dreaming Without Limits is a powerful youth-led cabaret celebrating hope, resilience, identity, and social change through musical theatre. Featuring performances by talented young artists ages 14–26, this original production blends songs from Broadway and beyond with personal storytelling and themes of justice, belonging, and imagining a better future.

Created through a collaborative, ensemble-based process, the cabaret highlights the voices and dreams of DC-area youth while showcasing the transformative power of theatre to build community, confidence, and change. Expect an evening of inspiring performances, bold artistry, and heartfelt storytelling from the next generation of changemakers.

Theatre 202 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth theatre company based in Washington, DC, dedicated to creating bold, transformative social justice theatre with, by, and for young changemakers. Founded in 2022, Theatre 202 was born out of years of youth theatre-making in DC public schools and a desire to build an artistic home where young people could continue creating meaningful work beyond the classroom. Since our founding, we have partnered with hundreds of talented teenagers and young adults to co-create productions that amplify their voices, foster community, and inspire social change.

Theatre 202 provides an aspirational, ensemble-based experience where young people receive high-quality training in musical theatre while developing leadership, confidence, collaboration, and creative agency. Based out of Cardozo Education Campus in Northwest DC, we offer a brave and joyful space where young artists can express themselves, build lasting relationships, and discover their power through the arts. Each year, we produce a full-scale community musical, run a summer youth employment program for emerging artists, and support a student-led touring production through our partner school theatre program, Dozo Drama, bringing performances to schools and communities across DC.
