Annie Creative

Director
Ms. Natalie Mintergrew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated from Catholic University with a BM in Musical Theatre in 2021. She currently teaches K-5 Music and High School Drama at Donahue Academy and sings with professional harmony show group - Voyces, based in Naples. She has worked in directing before with Lumina Theatre Company. Some Credits include: Naples Players: Mary Poppins, Centerstage: The Addams Family, the world premieres of Our Man Harry (Abigail), and Where The City Sings (Beggar). Catholic University: Urinetown, 9 to 5 (Roz u/s), Le Nozze di Figaro. Lumina Theatre Company: Godspell (Telly). SPA: Tarzan (Kala), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Truly). In 2019, she was a semi-finalist in APO’s Next Generation competition at Arena Stage. She would like to thank her 5th grade students for the love and dedication they have poured into this performance, along with her family, fiancé - Michael, and friends for their love and support, and to God for granting her the gift of art, a wonder so close to himself.

Music Director/ Assistant Director
Ms. Alijah MadkourDonahue's 5th grade teacher's assistant, is grateful to have had the opportunity to guide rehearsals for her first ever musical as a teacher! Although her theater experience is slim, she has fond memories of playing a role as one of the three witches and as part of the backstage crew in her high school's musical Hercules. Her music background includes band, music ministry, and a college minor in Music from Ave Maria University. The flute is her best instrument, but she also sings, plays the piano, and the ukulele. Her other recreational activities include training for a recent Spartan race, reading, and socializing. Miss Madkour thanks Ms. Minter for the opportunity to help bring you Annie and the students for their hard work and cooperation throughout the semester! She is also indebted to Ms. Minter, Mrs. Fox, Mr. O'Neil, Mr. Watson, and Mrs. Halisky for their guidance and help in directing rehearsals for the best possible performance outcome! Be assured of her prayers for your students as they take Annie to the stage!

Student Choreographer
Gabriella Minteris a sophmore at Donahue academy. Ella has been dancing for 10 years and is currently heavily involved with the Dance Studio here in town. She also takes voice lessons with under her sister Natalie Minter. She is so excited to be a part of this production and proud of 5th grade and would like to thank Emily for helping her with the choreography.

Student Assistant Choreographer
Emily Grahamhelped with the recent middle school musical and assisted in choreography for in this production. She had been in Annie as a first grader, and is delighted to help others to perform it too. She enjoys running and anything to do with performing, and will be holding a dance camp this summer for girls ages 8-12 to help girls grow their love for performance through dancing.

Student Stage Manager
Lia Caputois very excited to be involved in her first musical at Donahue. She likes to dance and play sports, especially volleyball. She also enjoys hanging out with her friends, especially Luci, and her family. Lia would like to thank Mrs. Fox, Ms. Madkour, her parents, and especially Ms. Minter for putting this musical together.

Student Assistant Stage Manager
Asher Copelandis excited to be part of his first musical as the Assistant Stage Manager and learn new skills. In his free time he like to play sports, and hang out with his friends.

Student Dance Captain
Salome Hernandezis very excited to be in this production of Annie. She has a lot of experience dancing. She has been dancing for 9 years. She is grateful to Ms. Minter for giving her this opportunity and to her parents for their support.

Student Crew
James Rosseris excited to be on the crew for Annie. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, soccer, and other sports. This is his first time participating in a play.

Student Crew
Francis Burkeis big and awesome. He is having fun on stage crew for this production. He has never been in a play before. He does not want anyone to forget that he awesome and he thinks Annie's wig is a bit too much

Lighting/Sound
Trenton O'Neilgraduated from Ave Maria University where he trained in vocal performance, organ performance, and choral conducting. As a soloist, Mr. O’Neil has performed with Opera Naples, Gulfshore Opera, and Voices of Naples. His biggest musical passion is for the sacred music tradition of the Catholic Church. He has been the director of multiple liturgical and performance choirs. Additionally, he serves as the organist of Corpus Christi Chapel where the Traditional Latin Mass is celebrated by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. Mr. O’Neil is also a member of the Music Faculty at AMU where he connects music students to local teaching internships and is the Director of Bands. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Music from Kansas State University.
