About The Play That Goes Wrong High School Edition

It is the opening night of the Cornley Drama Society’s newest production, The Murder at Haversham Manor, the show quickly goes from bad to disastrous. The 1920s whodunit has an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that does not play dead, and actors who forget their lines and blocking.  The thespians fight to make it to the end, with hysterically funny consequences!

Dighton Rehoboth Regional High School

The Dighton- Rehoboth Regional High School Theatre Company stages a play in the fall and a musical in the spring.
We offer two theatre classes, Drama Workshop and Advanced Theatre Arts Honors. The advanced class stages two plays a year. They compete in Trinity Rep's Write Here Write Now playwriting contest, which they have won multiple times. Each spring, the class stages a student-written and directed one-act play festival.  Guest artists working in theatre visit the class to work with students.
We are home to The International Thespian Society Troupe 8193. This is an honor society that recognizes, rewards, and celebrates student achievement in theatre.
Our students' work appears on the National Core Art Standards Website as an exemplar for the country in the category of Advanced Acting.
Many of our students study theatre in college and go on to work professionally in the field.

The Educational Theatre Association has recognized us as a Premier Community for Theatre Education.
