Dexter Tuten  (Antipholus of Syracuse)
Dexter Tuten is an actor and theatre director based in Phoenix, Arizona, with a bachelor’s degree in theatre from GCU. Dexter has over 10 years of experience working on theatrical productions as a stage manager, teaching artist, actor, and director. Favorite roles include Mercutio for Desert Rose’s Romeo and Juliet, as well as Hamlet, Tappercoom in the Lady’s Not for Burning, and John Brooke in Little women. He’s very excited to be back at Desert Rose for another production!
Spencer Beckwith  (Antipholus of Ephesus)
Spencer Beckwith (Antipholus of Ephesus) is thrilled to return to Desert Rose Theatre. You may have seen him perform at various theatres around the valley including Southwest Shakespeare Company, Valley Players, B3 Theatre, and Space 55 as well as Flagstaff Shakespeare Festival. Enjoy the show!
David Loewen  (Dromio of Syracuse )
David has acted in multiple theatre productions and always tends to lean comedic. Given his love for unique and comedic voices with big personalities, he strives for the voice industry both as talent, and an engineer. He’s noted how the cast of this production has only brought out the best in everyone’s abilities, including his own.
John Terpin  (Dromio of Ephesus )
John is thrilled to be Comedy of Errors at Desert Rose. He participated in CYT and Mozart in school. John most recently has played Fester in the Addams Family at Fountain Hills Theater and starred in a few friends’ film projects.
Jessica Parsons  (Adriana )
Jessica has been acting, teaching, directing, and choreographing around the Valley for over a decade and is a proud co-founder of Desert Rose Theatre. Her favorite past roles include Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Viola in Shakespeare in love with PVCC. Jessica recently Graduated from NAU with her Master's in Educational Technology, which supports her work training faculty at GCC. Jessica would like to thank the cast, crew, and creatives for making this production possible through their hard work, and her family for always supporting her dreams.
Nickela Rooney  (Luciana )
Nickela was most recently seen on stage with Desert Rose as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and works sporadically with Brelby on a web series you all should totally watch called Tales From Alluria. Aside from performing, she has been very busy getting married and learning how to take care of axolotls. By day, Nickela is an elementary school librarian (where aforementioned axolotls live). Many thanks to her amazing HUSBAND, Kevin, and to Sam and Desert Rose for another opportunity to bring another one of Shakespeare's ingenues to life.
Zayin Holm (Aegeon & Officer )
Zayin Holm is delighted to play in The Comedy of Errors as characters Aegeon/Officer. He has been in Theatre from a young age and hopes to Glorify God through his performances and bring joy to the hearts and minds of people attending. Taylor Kos Davies  (Abbess & Courtezan )
With over thirteen years of acting experience, Taylor is passionate about uncovering the motivations behind each character and bringing their intricate personalities to life. Some of her notable roles include Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Ernest, Benvolio in Romeo and Juliette, and various characters with The Murder Mystery Company.
Michael Rodriguez  (Angelo )
Michael Rodriguez, son of Steve the Greater, son of Mike Rodriguez the First, is an eighteen-year old actor with over a decade of acting experience. He has acted in theatrical mentionables such as The Sound of Music as Rolf, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor as Pharaoh, and Seussical as The Cat in the Hat. His favorite play is Cyrano de Bergerac, and his favorite musical is Kiss Me, Kate.
Michael Podlesnik  (Balthazar )
I am a senior at GCU majoring in Mechanical Engineering, pursuing a career in clean energy. I also had an acting career where I enjoyed having the pleasure of being Scar in The Lion King Jr. and President FDR in Annie for example, and I plan to stay in acting and arts as well.
Christa Diaz  (Duke Solinus & Luce )
Christa Diaz is a director, teacher, and actress based in Maricopa, Arizona. Some of her favorite directing moments include Shrek the Musical, The Play That Goes Wrong, and The Outsiders. Christa is currently directing Mean Girls but is overjoyed to get back into acting with Desert Rose! This is Christa’s third time acting in a Shakespearean production, having previously been seen in The Tempest and Henry V while obtaining her BA in Theatre Education at GCU.
