Spring Forward 2023 Performers
Alexandria Corn (She/Her/Hers)Hello! I'm Alexandria Corn and I'm a sophomore at Agnes. This is my first year in the company but I've trained in many styles since I was three years old. Being in the company has been challenging for me, but it has pushed me to choreograph and dance something I've never done before. I was in "Did Something Happen?" in the Fall and now I'm very excited to be performing my duet in this year's Spring Forward performance!
Gabby Hall (She/her)Gabby Hall is a current Junior at Agnes Scott College double majoring in Biochemistry and Dance. She
has trained in a variety of styles including ballet, jazz, modern, tap, and contemporary. While she is not
dancing, Gabby enjoys reading and volunteering. She is so excited to be performing with Studio Dance
Theater for her third year and create unforgettable memories with her peers.
Maggie Harrison (She/Her/Hers)Maggie is thrilled to be a part of the Studio Dance Theatre Spring Forward dance show this year. Maggie is a current sophomore at Agnes Scott and is majoring in history. She has been dancing for 17 years, training in a variety of styles such as ballet, modern, hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, and tap, among other types of dance. When she’s not dancing, Maggie enjoys acting, singing, and collecting rubber ducks from claw machines. Getting to participate in such an amazing and positive dance program has been one of the highlights of Maggie’s college experience so far. She would like to thank her professors, parents, and friends for supporting her in her college dance endeavors. Most of all, she would like to thank her Studio Dance Theatre family for helping her find a love for dance again.
Sophia Hom (She/Her)Sophia Hom is a current Junior at Agnes Scott College. She began her classical ballet training at the age of 3 in Springfield, Missouri and continued dancing for over 12 years. After joining Studio Dance Theatre in her sophomore year, she served as the rehearsal assistant for Through the Looking Glass, Spring Forward, and Did Something Happen?. She also serves as the Communications Director for SDT and is excited to perform in Audrey Partington’s student choreography piece this spring.
Grace Krahm (She/Her/Hers)Grace Krahm is a Junior at Agnes Scott College majoring in Astrophysics and minoring in Mathematics and Dance. This is her second year as part of Studio Dance Theatre and she is excited to be part of the Spring Forward show. Outside of dancing and studying, she loves reading, hiking, and knitting.
Leah Lipshutz (she/her)Leah Lipshutz is excited to be a part of Spring Forward again this year. She is a sophomore studying dance, psychology, and english. When she is not dancing, Leah enjoys reading and spending time with her friends
Oralyn Murchison (she/her)While enjoying dance styles such as ballet and tap, Oralyn Murchison also has the hobbies of drawing, reading, and playing the guitar. She is currently a sophomore at Agnes Scott College and plans on majoring in astrophysics in hopes to learn more about exoplanets, while also minoring in dance.
Audrey Partington (she/her/hers)Audrey Partington is a junior at Agnes Scott double majoring in psychology and dance and minoring in
business. She started dancing when she was 3 at Lilburn School of Ballet, and dance has been
an important part of her life since. She is the Social and Fundraising Chair of Studio Dance Theatre, and loves dancing with her fellow company members onstage. She is excited to show
her first work of choreography in the Spring Forward show.
Kendall Riley (She/Her/Hers)Kendall Riley is a junior majoring in psychology and minoring in dance. She has been a member of Studio Dance Theater since her first year at Agnes Scott. She has thoroughly enjoyed the different dance styles she has been introduced to since starting dance here and is looking forward to incorporating her dance knowledge into her career as a dance/movement therapist.
Cecilia Rodriguez (She/Her/Hers)Cecilia Rodriguez is a senior from Dalton, Georgia and has performed with SDT since she started at Agnes Scott. She is a Dance major and Math minor. Cecilia loves to choreograph and began presenting her collegiate work at the Agnes Scott SpARC her sophomore year. In the spring of 2022, Cecilia performed as an understudy for the Full Radius Dance production Undercurrents. Cecilia serves as Social Media Chair and Rehearsal Assistant for SDT and previously served as the interim Communications and Fundraising Chairs.
Alexandra Stepe (She/Her/Hers)Alexandra Stepe is a sophomore at Agnes Scott majoring in business and pursuing a minor in economics. You can find her dancing, listening to music, or napping around campus when she is not in classes or studying. It is Alexandra's second year in Studio Dance Theatre. She danced with the company in "Through the Looking Glass" and "Did Something Happen?". She hopes everyone enjoys the Spring Forward performance and is excited to share her first choreography piece, "Aura Scotoma" with everyone.
Alayna Weber (They/Them)Alayna is a sophomore student majoring in French language and English literature. Dance brings them joy in life. They are performing in the Ribbon Dance of Empowerment and enjoyed learning a new style of dance.
Harper Will (she/her)Harper Will is a sophomore this year at Agnes Scott and is from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She loves staying active by dancing and hiking. Her favorite style of dance is ballet, but she’s been branching out this year and is so excited to be a part of Spring Forward.
