Aladdin Jr. is a one-act musical adaptation of the 1992 Disney animated film, designed for young performers. The story follows the street urchin Aladdin, who finds a magic lamp and a Genie, and uses the wishes to win the heart of Princess Jasmine and outsmart the villain Jafar. The production is a one-hour, action-packed musical adventure filled with magic, music, and thrills suitable for the whole family. 

At Blue Academy we believe in creating an equitable environment for all teachers and students through collaborative supports. Specifically focusing on cross-curricular literacy instruction, we will provide engaging learning opportunities for all learners. At Blue, our culture is centered and focused around loving, listening and helping our students learn everyday. In order to do this we know we must facilitate great relationships with our students and families in order to grow our kids socially, emotionally and academically EVERYDAY. The DELC Blue Academy serves 650+ students in grades K-6. We have 35+ Certified Staff that work with our students every day. The staff at Blue are passionate about student success as they grow into Leaders of our Decatur Township Community. Staff implement the following curricula into the daily activities: Pearson Math, HMH Literacy Framework, and Smekens Writing Strategies. Students at Blue also participate in Music, Intro to Band, STEAM Class, Physical Education, and Media Classes. Blue Academy implements Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports into our program. Students and Staff at Blue know this as our HAWKS Act: Honest, Accountable, with Respect, Kind, and Safe.
