SUMMARY

The classic animated television special A Charlie Brown Christmas comes to life in this faithful stage adaptation in which Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts Gang discover the true meaning of Christmas.

HISTORY

A Charlie Brown Christmas was first shown as an animated television special in 1965 and has been part of the holiday tradition ever since. The stage adaptation was completed in 2013.

Delaware Hayes Thespians

The Delaware Hayes Thespian Troupe is a group of student thespians who attend or live in the Delaware City School District. Most of our students attend Rutherford B. Hayes High School, though some of our students attend the Delaware Area Career Center, attend Post Secondary or College Credit Plus Classes, or are home schooled within the district. 

Rutherford B. Hayes High School has a history dating back to at least 1973 of performing high quality theatre productions all of which were staged in the Willis Auditorium until the new auditorium was added to the high school in 1997.
