Beauty and the Beast Cast

Shelly Purser is a sophomore who’s been in many productions, both in and out of school. Also on the speech team, she loves anything to do with self expression. In her free time she enjoys art, video games, and preying on the downfall of government to ensue her plan of world domination.

Eric is a junior in Deep Run High school. He has zero theater experience, zero acting experience, and the only experience in this field is his voice. He is trying to get a voice acting job in high school because he thinks he can do well. As well as he improv’s when he gets his lines wrong, it’s how he copes with failure. He tries to be funny or make his peers break character. He succeeded only once. When he messed up his lines when Belle didn’t want to come to dinner The Beast said “How Dare You!” Rather than “what did you say?” He was incredibly embarrassed.

Madhuri is a senior at Deep Run High School. This is not her first show. She is fired up.

Bonjour! Emma is a senior, and is super excited to be a part of this production. You might have seen her on stage before with Out of the Woods theater company as Margot in Legally Blonde, or as Cinderella in into the woods! When she is not on stage, you might find Emma making art, dancing, watching the West Wing, or taking care of her plants. She is super thankful for the entire cast and crew for all of their hard work, and for being a welcoming and supportive group to work with. Emma thanks her family for continuing to support her artistic journey, and to her awesome little sister for keeping her sane through tech week! Emma sends lots of love to all, and hopes that you can experience our amazing theater community and “home” tonight. Enjoy the show!!

Abhay is a Junior at Deep Dun High School. This is his third play, and first musical. He will be playing Gaston. He very much hopes you enjoy the show!

Vee is Junior who has been doing theatre since elementary school. She loves all of her castmates and is incredibly proud of everyone. She thoroughly enjoyed working on this show and hopes you enjoyed watching it!

Jaydon is a senior and is participating in his 3rd theater production. He is very excited to be a part of it this year and hopes everyone has as good of a time watching it as he did working on it.

Atlas Lamb is a senior at Deep Run High School. This isn't his first show. He is ecstatic.

Graciella is a Senior in highschool who has participated in theatre for 3 years! She loves cats and dogs and turtles. She doesn’t have a favorite movie because that’s an impossible question. She hopes you enjoy the show!!

Maitreyee is a Junior here at Deeprun. She has been in drama productions since her freshman year of high school. You might know her from the musical production Into the woods as Little Red. She is now playing Babette in this production of beauty and The Beast. She enjoys performing especially with so many talented people!

Paige is a senior at Deep Run. She plays the guitar, piano, sings and dances. This is her third and final musical, and she is excited to be apart of Beauty and the Beast.

Amirtha is in her senior year and it’s her first year in a Deep Run musical. She loves animals and has four pets and wants to be a veterinarian in the future. She also loves art and painting.

Campbell Corey is a freshman at Deep Run. She thrilled to be on the Deep Run stage for the first time in Beauty and the Beast. Some of her favorite roles include, Grace Farrell in Annie Jr., Winifred Banks in Marry Poppins Jr., and Ensemble in Heathers The Musical: Teen Edition. Special thanks to her very supportive family, her friends, and the wonderful cast and crew!

Serafina is in the 9th grade. She has worked in Annie at Short Pump Middle School previously and now this is her first show at Deep Run. She’s thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful production and she hopes you enjoy the show.

Kayleigh is a senior at Deep Run. This is her first year doing anything theatre related, but she has done chorus for all four years. She loves exploring science, playing ukulele and doing artsy things in her free time. Kayleigh thanks everyone who has supported her on her musical journey and helped her learn and grow as a person and artist. She hopes you all enjoy the show!

Anna Weitzenhofer is a sophmore at Deep Run. She is so excited to be a part of one of her favorite musicals! Anna hopes you enjoy this show!

Abby is in 9th grade. She enjoys reading and hanging out with friends. She also enjoys singing. She take chorus with Mrs Elkhouri.

Zoe is a 9th grader at Deep Run. She fell in love with theater the first time she saw a play. She also loves art and singing, and plays the piano in her free time. Zoe wants to thank everyone who has supported her in her grand quest to become a amazing actress and person. She hopes you love the show as much as she does.

Ilana Gulkarov is a Junior at Deep Run HS who’s participating theater for the first time. She loves reading, ice skating, and crocheting. She was born in beautiful, sunny SoCal.

Riley is a freshman who loves acting and theatre. This is her third show, and she is thrilled to be a part of Beauty and the Beast!

Milla is a class of 2024 senior, with theatre experience ranging all the way back to kindergarten. She plans to become a director for a magazine after college.

This is Coopers first show at DRHS. He is a freshman who has done theatre all of middle school and is a junior thespian. He is ready for this show and future shows.

This is Laila's first Deep Run theatre experience, Laila hopes to be in more theatre productions in the future! Enjoy the show!

9th grade, freshman year. Ezra wasn't a bad actor, just not a crazy good one. They live to sing and all things musical related and has a passion for it (Doesn't skip those classes). He enjoys theatre the most because of the freedom and general creativity that you can express during it.

Calista is in the 10th grade. this is her 3rd production at deep run. she hopes you enjoy the show.

Cathy Smolka is a junior at Deep Run, and she is very excited to be a part of her first production! She spends much of her free time reading, needle-felting, and listening to music.
