Hadestown Cast

Yanjie Zhu (Hermes) is a junior in his 6th show with Team Alpha Drama. He'd like to appreciate his supportive family and many mentors who guide him to be able to do the role of Hermes. He said, "if I had to take the dangerous journey into Hadestown to get something back, it would be the past time spend living back in China. China had a speical place in my soul, especially my howntown, and I would fight for it to relive it again.

Ali Boussi (Orpheus/Social Media Manager) is in his 6th show with drama, and he's beyond grateful to be given the opportunity to play the role of Orpheus. You might've seen Ali in previous productions such as, West Side Story ( Diesel - Dearborn Theatre Collective ), Anastasia ( Dmitry - Crestwood Theatre ), and Clue ( Wadsworth - Crestwood Theatre ). Ali would like to thank his family and friends for being the best supporters throughout his theatre journey, but would especially like to thank his parents for believing in him and being the best parents anyone could ask for. If Ali had to take the dangerous journey into Hadestown to get something or someone back, it would be for his sister, Zeinab, because she's the first person he turns to when he needs advice or guidance. Lydia (Eurydice/Hair Crew) is in her fourth and final year as a student in Crestwood Theatre. She is happy that she got to experience the highs and lows because they all played a part in her growth into who she is today, and who she will be in the future. Lydia sends all her love and gratitude to the productions team, the cast, the crew, her family, and her friends. The ones who made this all possible. Although Lydia is sad to go, she is excited for what lies ahead and hopes whatever it is will honor those that have supported her.

Chris Ashekian (Hades) is in his 7th show with drama and is very grateful for everything this club gave him. From life lessons to lifelong friends, this club completely shaped his life for the better. He's forever thankful to Tech for having him experience every aspect of their program from freshman to junior year and then having the opportunity to act and perform as Prof. Plum and HADES his senior year. This show and this role were his DREAM ROLE for a long time and is honored to be a part of it. He'd like to thank all of his lovely amazing friends, all the adults, Cayla for creating all of us a second home, and especially his parents <3.

Sharon Adjanohoun (Persephone) is in her 6th show in drama, and she is SOO EXCITED to play the role of Persephone!! If Sharon had to take a dangerous journey into Hadestown to get something or someone back, it would be for her mom because she's been her biggest supporter for her whole life.

Hana Nasser (Fate) is in her 6th show with Crestwood Theater. She couldn't be more excited to play a Fate in Hadestown! She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her love for theater and always being there for her. She would also like to thank her algebra 2 teacher Mrs. Johnson for being an absolute saint during the sophomore slump:). If Hana had to take the dangerous journey into Hadestown to get something or someone back, it would be for her jelly cat because she loves him.

Navien Nasser (Fate/Hair Crew) is in her 3rd show with Crestwood drama and she is very excited to make it the best one yet! she’d like to thank her family for supporting her and friends for supporting her. If she had to take a journey to hadestown to get something or someone back, it would be for her family or her best friend Ali Boussi because they have always supported her no matter what!

Rokaya Martin (Fate/Hair Crew)) is in her 2nd show with Crestwood Theatre and is ecstatic to be playing one of the Fates. She wants to thank everyone who helped and supported her to help her get where she is today. If she had to take the dangerous journey into Hadestown to get something back, it would be for her friends because they help her when life gets her down.

Jad Abdallah (Dance Core) is in his 2nd show with drama, and he's very pumped to be apart of the dance core! He would like to thank his family along with the Theatre Program for encouraging him to step out of his comfort zone. If Jad had to take the dangerous journey into Hadestown to get something or someone back, it would be for my cousin Nader because he saw more in him than he saw in himself

Dana Abou-Hamdan (Dance Core/Makeup Crew) is in her 2nd show with drama and is so excited to be apart of the dance crew, Hadestown has always been her favorite musical and seeing it come to life is a dream come true! She would love to thank her friends and family, specifically her parents for supporting her throughout the show process! If Dana had to take the dangerous journey into Hadestown to get something or someone back, it would be for this drama club in general because every person involved is the reason this show can come to life!

Sophia (Dance Core/Makeup Crew) is a freshmen here at crestwood. This is her fifth show here. She is so excited to continue her journey with crestwood theater. Sophia was a competitive dancer throughout middle school, she is on Crestwoods JV girls basketball team, and is the freshmen class representative.If Sophia had to take the dangerous journey into Hadestown to get something or someone back, it would be for her close family because she can’t imagine a life without them.

This is Maliyah’s (Dance Core/Social Media Crew) third show with Crestwood Theatre, and her first time acting in a production! She is super excited and wants to thank everyone who encouraged her :) If Maliyah had to take the dangerous journey into Hadestown to get something or someone back, it would be her family because she honestly doesn't know where she would be right now without them.

Julianna Rahal (Dance Core/Dance Crew) has done a total of 6 shows with Crestwood theatre this being her 7th. she's so excited to be acting for her last show and would like to thank her mom for always supporting everything she does. If she had to take the dangerous journey into Hadestown to get something or someone back, it would be for her mom because she had been there for her through every single small and big event in her life and she's her biggest supporter.

Noor Alabdulrasul (Ensemble/Costume Manager) is doing her 9th and final show at Crestwood theatre. She can't wait to end her senior year off with Hadestown! If she had to take the dangerous journey into Hadestown to get something or someone back, it would be for a frog because they aren't made for the Underworld and would probably be scared of Hades.

Allie Fayz (Ensemble) is on his 5th show with CHS Drama Club and is super excited to be in his first acting role!! he would like to thank all his friends and family for supporting him and he cant wait to see where it takes him.

Amir Hamdan (Ensemble) is in his 2nd show at Crestwood drama. He is a freshman at Crestwood high school and has played two roles before this, one being “Basil” in the play, “Mystery at shady acres”. The second role he has played is the role “Mr. Boddy” in the play “Clue”. Amir truly loves theatre and acting. If he was to go on the treacherous journey down to Hadestown he would go save his family from the Tirant, Hades.

Connor Tomsett is in his 7th show with Crestwood Theatre and is ready for his final senior performance. If he had to take the dangerous journey into Hadestown to get something or someone back it would be for music because it is such a massive part of his life.

Brenden(Ensemble/Props Manager) is in his 6th production with crestwood drama and his second acting. He would like to thank his family his friends and his beautiful girlfriend for always supporting him in his journey. Robin Kovach (Ensemble) is in her 4th show with Crestwood Drama and is very excited to be acting in Hadestown! She'd like to thank her friends for supporting her throughout this show!
