Dear Evan Hansen - CHS Drama Club Cast
Evan Wicks (Evan Hansen)Evan Wicks (Evan Hansen) - Evan is thrilled to take on the role of Evan in his second year as a member of the CHS Drama Club. Audiences may remember him from last spring’s production of Hadestown: Teen Edition, where he portrayed Orpheus. When he’s not on stage, Evan enjoys skiing, baking, and playing a variety of instruments. His past credits include performances at the Palace Theatre in Sweeney Todd (Beadle Bamford), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Willy Wonka), and 13 Jr. (Archie). Evan would like to thank everyone who has supported and encouraged him along the way, and he hopes you enjoy Dear Evan Hansen: The Novel.
Maddie Short (Heidi Hansen)Maddie Short (Heidi Hansen) - Maddie is a senior at Concord High School and has been a passionate member of the CHS Drama Club since her freshman year. As this production marks her final show at CHS, it holds extra meaning for Maddie, and she is especially grateful to be performing alongside her sister, Lily. Her most memorable roles include Eurydice (Hadestown), Rosie (Mamma Mia!), Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), and Anna of Cleves (Six). Maddie would like to thank the CHS theater community for their unwavering support throughout the years—“you all have made this place a second home.” She would also like to thank Mr. Klose for being the best director and teacher one could ask for, her family for putting up with countless spontaneous at-home concerts, and her friends for being her biggest and best cheerleaders.
Olivia O'Connor (Zoe Murphy)Olivia is thrilled to be performing in her second musical at Concord High School and is honored to take on the role of Zoe Murphy in Dear Evan Hansen. Past performances include Hadestown (Fate), Beetlejuice (Miss Argentina), and The Little Mermaid (Ariel). Olivia would like to thank Mr. Klose, Mrs. Coskren, Mr. Hatab, Mrs. Head, and Courtney for their incredible dedication and hard work in bringing this production to life. She is also grateful for her amazing castmates and the members of the pit and crew for their talent and teamwork. Most of all, Olivia sends endless thanks to her family for their constant love and support.
Will Fogg (Connor Murphy)Will Fogg (Connor Murphy) - Will is so incredibly thrilled to be cast in this year’s musical! This marks his first CHS musical, and he is deeply grateful for the opportunity. Past credits include Hugo Peabody in Bye Bye Birdie and George Michael Harold in Elderly on Board. When he’s not acting onstage, Will enjoys working behind the scenes and has a strong passion for lighting design, which he hopes to pursue in college. He also loves playing the cello and discovering new hobbies. Will would like to thank his family, his friends, and the entire cast and crew for making this show so incredible. Enjoy the show!
Holly Keenan (Cynthia Murphy)Holly is a senior and is thrilled to be part of her fourth and final musical at CHS! Her previous roles include Six (Jane Seymour), Grease (Radio Voice/Ensemble), The Wedding Singer (Julia), and Hadestown (Fate). She will be attending college in the fall to pursue musical theater. Holly is endlessly grateful to her family and friends for their constant love and support, and to the entire cast and crew for making this show so special. A huge shoutout to Maddie, her theater buddy since first grade—happy last show together! Enjoy the show, and remember: you are not alone :)
Shaun Wicks (Larry Lurphy)Shaun Wicks (Larry Murphy) - Shaun is thrilled to be participating in his fourth and final musical at CHS and is especially excited to be part of Dear Evan Hansen. Throughout his time at CHS, Shaun has cherished every moment on stage. His past credits include The Wedding Singer (Sammy), Hadestown: Teen Edition (Worker), and Mamma Mia! (Bill). Shaun would like to extend his heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in this production—from the dedicated cast to the hardworking crew—for making this experience so meaningful. Connor Weeks (Jared Kleinman)Connor is incredibly excited to be a part of his second musical at CHS as Jared in Dear Evan Hansen. Past roles include Ralphie in A Christmas Story, Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast, and Worker in Hadestown. Connor would like to thank his family and friends for their constant support, as well as the cast and crew of Dear Evan Hansen for all the hard work they’ve put into making this show the best it can be. Maggie Hall (Alana Beck)Maggie Hall (Alana Beck) - This is Maggie’s fifth and final show at Concord High School, and she is thrilled to be taking on the role of Alana Beck. Her past CHS credits include She Kills Monsters (Agnes), The Laramie Project (multiple roles), Grease (Jan), and Mamma Mia! (Lisa). Maggie would like to thank her friends and family, along with the incredible cast, crew, and pit orchestra, and Mrs. Coskren, Mr. Hatab, Mrs. Head, Mr. Cohen, and Mrs. Cowette for making this production possible. She would also like to give a special congratulations to Mr. Klose on his final CHS production and thank him for all the amazing work he has done over the years. Oliver Conley (Ensemble )Oliver Conley (Ensemble) Oliver is thrilled to be part of his third musical at Concord High School! He has had so much fun working alongside this amazing cast and crew. You may have previously seen Oliver on the Concord stage in Hadestown as a Worker or in Mamma Mia! as an ensemble member (and the dancing priest!). Oliver would like to extend a huge thank you to Mr. Klose, Mrs. Cosken, Mr. Hatab, Mrs. Head, and Charles Dustin for all their hard work and dedication in making this production so special. He is also incredibly grateful to his family for always supporting him and putting up with his endless rehearsals and theater energy.
Alexa Desrochers (Ensemble)Alexa is a junior, and this is her first time performing in a musical. She is incredibly excited to be part of Dear Evan Hansen with such an amazing cast and is especially honored to perform in Mr. Klose’s final musical at Concord High School. Gracie Lorden (Ensemble)Gracie Lorden (Ensemble) Gracie is very excited to be part of this year’s musical, Dear Evan Hansen. Gracie is a junior and this is her third high school musical. In her free time, she sings her heart out both on stage and in choir, and she plays volleyball year-round with GSVC. Her past credits include Once Upon a Mattress (Winnifred), Hadestown (Worker), and The Wizard of Oz (Wicked Witch). Gracie would like to thank the cast, crew, pit, and of course the lovely Mr. Klose for all that they do. Annabel Proulx (Ensemble)Annabel is a freshman at Concord High School. Outside of school, she enjoys playing the piano, dancing, and spending time with her friends. She is so grateful for the opportunity to join such a talented and supportive theatre community in her first year at CHS. When she’s not on stage, Lily enjoys horseback riding, playing field hockey, skiing, and running. Some of her past credits include Bye Bye Birdie (Kim McAfee), Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Cabin Thoughts (Maeve), and The Wedding Singer(Ensemble). Lily is especially thankful for the chance to share one final performance with her sister, Maddie, which makes this show even more meaningful.
