About Evan Wade Acoustic Show

Evan Wade is an aspiring Country Music singer-songwriter and entertainer from Greenville, Texas. Growing up, he was deeply influenced by music through his grandfather, a musician and writer, and his aunt, who sang and performed in community theatre.
Evan loved growing up and singing with his family, where he discovered his passion for country music. He received his first guitar from his grandfather, igniting his passion for songwriting.
He began writing songs at 16 and has now penned nearly 100 songs. By 18, he was performing across East Texas at local venues. His recording debut came in 2023 with his original song titled "What it Takes to be an Outlaw" and a cover of "Golden Ring," featuring Georgette Jones, daughter of country legends George Jones and Tammy Wynette. His journey in music is rooted in the family gatherings that celebrated the sounds of pure country music.

Community Players, Inc.

Community Players, Inc. is a non-profit, volunteer-run, donor-sustained organization.

Our volunteer and donor support has given Community Players Inc. the opportunity to provide entertainment to Sulphur Springs and the surrounding areas for 40+ years!

In addition to our primary mission of furthering the Arts, we strive to provide opportunities to aspiring actors and actresses, as well as persons interested in the “behind the scenes” workings of theatre.

We also bring opportunity and fun to the children of Sulphur Springs and the surrounding area by offering a Children’s Workshop during the summer season. This has been a very successful endeavor that allows our children the chance to see what happens throughout the production of a play from start to finish, as well as give them the opportunity to perform or control the backstage elements of a performance.

There is no cost to participate in our productions (except nominal fees for workshops) and newcomers are encouraged to try out!
