Seussical JR. Cast

My name is Anason Drum. I’m 11 years old and I’m in the 6th grade at Como-Pickton ISD. I enjoy performing and I’ve been in numerous school programs and 3 plays. My favorite role was Ralphie in a Christmas Story. I’ve spent my summer going to Splash Kingdom with my Dad and riding horses and bulls at Cowboy Camp with church friends. I am so excited to play the part of JoJo in Suessical Jr.

Sorin has been performing at Main Street since 2018. The now 18-year-old actor continues to participate in community theater regularly. You may have seen him in shows such as Bad Seed, or Miss Civilization. He enjoys a few different hobbies, such as singing, writing, and researching random topics. This performance is also dedicated to Sorin's partner in crime, Ace.

Jaxon Vega is 11 years old and will be in 6th grade. He has previously performed as Davey in Newsies, Michael Banks in Mary Poppins, and Pabbie in Frozen, Jr. with Greenville Family Theater. More recently, he has performed as Aladdin in Aladdin Kids and Young Simba in The Lion King, Jr. with North Texas Performing Arts-Fairview. He is excited to be in his first performance with Main Street Theater. When he is not acting, Jaxon takes voice lessons and likes to play basketball and video games.

Haydn is a 15 year old homeschool student who has performed in many shows with CHESS & Community Players. In addition to being in shows, he likes to play basketball with his friends. He dedicates this performance to his parents in appreciation of their never-ending support.

Macy is 10 years old and attends school in Sulphur Springs. This is Macy's first role and her first show with Main St. Theatre. When she isn't on stage, Macy enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She loves swimming, jumping on the trampoline, and entertaining everyone around her.

Tessa is an 11 year old, and this is her first play. She is excited to be playing the role of Gertrude McFuzz. Her brother has been in many theater productions in Sulphur Springs and Corpus Christi, so she is no stranger to the theatre scene. She is a student at North Hopkins ISD where she is an active member of BETA and plays basketball. She is a member of the praise team at Cross Spur Cowboy Church in Sulphur Springs. She enjoys riding the golf cart, swimming, and playing with her cats.

Emery Brown is an 8th grader at Sulphur Springs Middle School were she is a member of Student Council and Advanced Theater. Emery has been involved in theater for 7 years and has performed in 16 shows. She enjoys being able to bring her characters to life while getting to spend time with her cast mates that have become her best friends!

Ayden is an 8th grade homeschool student. His first show was Rose Red with CHESS at Main Street Theatre. His favorite sport is basketball. If he doesn't go pro, he wants to be a director.

13 years old - This show has been heavily anticipated for this young coming actor as Dr. Seuss is a favorite in our home. This show will be Max's 10th show since beginning theatre in 2014. Some of Max's favorite roles, which were played right here at MST, include an evil step sister in Cinderella and Gray Brother in Jungle Book. Max also has a huge passion for art in all mediums including digital and enjoyed helping create the beautiful set in this production.

Catalina is 6 and will be a second grader at Rowena Johnson Primary next year. This is her first play, and she has had so much fun displaying her talents. She started taking gymnastics and cheerleading at 3. She loves to spend time with her family and appreciates all of their support.

Poppy Drennan is 9 years old, and this is her second year to participate in the summer theater camp. She played the mouse in Cinderella’s Glass Slipper last summer and is excited to play a bird girl in Seussical Jr. Poppy loves singing and dancing with friends, playing with her kittens, reading mystery books, baking, and swimming. Her favorite Dr. Seuss book is Hop on Pop.

Ellie Baxter is nine years old and in the 4th grade. She likes to play outside when she's not busy with school or theater. Ellie is excited to make her debut on the Main St stage.

Olivia Money is 13 and will be an 8th grader at North Hopkins ISD this coming school year. This will be her 4th show with Main Street Theatre and she participates in her Jr Highs OAP program. She enjoys editing and computer programs when she is away from the stage.

Evelyn Money is 8 and will be a 3rd grader at North Hopkins ISD this year. She is on her second show with Main Street Theatre. She enjoys spending time outside, climbing trees, and spending time with friends.

Prudence is an eleven year old visiting from Alabama. She has performed in show choirs and school musicals. When she's not performing she likes to practice archery. She is excited to have been a part of the technical workshop as well as performing on stage.

Elizabeth is a 14 year old homeschool student who has performed in Community Players productions of Alice in Zombieland and Cinderella's Glass Slipper. In her free time she likes to play with her dog and watch anime. She really enjoys theatre, because she likes to pretend to be other characters.

My name is Aspen Mayhew. I've been doing theatre a bushel of years, done far too many shows to count, and can't help coming back to my roots at Main Street. I'm going into my junior year at SSHS where I continue to develop my passion for both the arts and agriculture. I cannot wait for you to see this adorable, fun show.

Gracie is excited to be a part of Seussical Jr. Their favorite part of theatre is becoming the different characters. Outside of theatre, Gracie is intrigued by writing, weather, and loves cats.

Caeden Lucas is elated to be a part of the talented cast of Seussical Jr. His favorite experiences onstage have been Munchkin Coroner (The Wizard of Oz), Troubadour (Cinderella's Glass Slipper), and Ben Gunn (Treasure Island). He is dedicating his performance to his family for supporting his theatrical journey.

Rynzi Rawls is a twelve year old homeschooler with CHESS. She enjoys singing and dancing on the stage as well as in her free time. She hopes to pursue a career in musical theater in New York when she grows up.
