American Pie began in 1985, when teacher Ed Niespodziani created an innovative way to get students engaged with U.S. History. By using the music of the 50's, 60's, and 70's as a backdrop to discuss the changes that took place during those decades he created a lesson so popular that students skipped other classes to attend the show. The show was soon moved to after-school hours and has grown in popularity over the last forty years. This year many talented students will bring music from the 50's through the 00's to life as the Magical History Tour tradition continues!

Columbus North High School is the proud home of International Thespian Troupe 57! We produce two main stage shows every year: a fall play and a spring musical, as well as several smaller student directed productions. All proceeds go toward making these shows possible for our aspiring artists, both onstage and backstage. Thank you for your support!
