Set Construction and Design
Eric MartinEric Martin serves as the set construction assistant and is married to Karen Martin, the Co-Principal at CES. He began building sets during his freshman year of college (Hiram ‘89) and got involved with Cloverleaf’s drama club many years ago when his oldest son, Kevin, was a sophomore. Eric feels fortunate to have a career as a lead estimator with Mack Industries in Valley City, which allows him the time to participate in set construction.
Some of his favorite and more complex sets have been for productions such as “The Diary of Anne Frank,” “Oklahoma,” “Cinderella,” and “Bye, Bye, Birdie.” He is thrilled to have new facilities to work in and is grateful to all the directors who have included him in their productions. He also extends a heartfelt thank you to the other volunteers who help with set building.
Eric wishes the best of luck—and the proverbial “break a leg”—to all the young performers, both past and present, who come through the ranks at CHS.

Costume Design
Jennifer WillisAfter recently retiring from Westfield Insurance as an IT Leader, Jenn is currently the financial secretary here at Cloverleaf High School. She enjoys the challenge of creating something out of nothing or something out of someone else’s thrifted items. Jenn expressed, “Creating costumes allows me to use my imagination, and let’s face it, we rarely use our imaginations as adults!” This is the first production Jenn has had the opportunity to work costumes for and she is thrilled to have it be such an iconic production as “The Wizard of Oz”. Jenn wishes the cast and crew all the best for a wonderful and memorable production!
