About Arts Festival 2022

The summer event of the year is the City Arts Festival 2022 of Greater Waterbury on July 30, 2022, from 10a-5p at Crosby High School. This community event is an Arts Festival that will provide a place for artists to showcase their talents in a celebration of arts while also cultivating a sense of community and equity. This year our theme is “Arts for Change”. Consider how artistic creation can combine elements of civic engagement, and community development, and motivate change. This event features recognized artists, Waterbury public school students, local organizations and groups, and emerging, local creators from around Connecticut. Festival attendees will have the opportunity to browse local vendors and makers who work with an array of mediums from jewelry, to photography, and art. Miles Wilson-Toliver, one of Connecticut’s 40 under 40 will kick off our event at 10 am.  Festival-goers will also be able to enjoy our live DJ, a 360 photo booth, a face painter, a tie-dye, a great assortment of vendors, and live entertainment!
