Alyssa DiPanfilo (PAVE II Acting)
PAVE 2 acting is all about building on the basic foundations of acting learned in PAVE 1. PAVE 2 explores character development and the given circumstances of a scene or full length show. This years final performance is "Law and Order: Fairy Tale Unit" by Jonathan Rand. Students chose the play, found set spaces, created costumes, filmed, directed the filming, and edited everything together all on their own. Their collaborative effort has brought this exciting tale to life and we are so happy to share this with all of you. Enjoy!
Matthew Turkle (PAVE III Acting Teacher)
Students took a seat in the director's chair as the culmination of their PAVE III Acting year. After exploring the director's process, student directors took the lead in casting, staging, and rehearsing scenes from Mary Zimmerman's complex play, Metamorphoses. These student-led ensembles also worked collaboritvely on script analysis, dramaturgy, and design, combining the many skills learned in PAVE III.

Anthony Stirpe (PAVE I Acting Teacher)
PAVE 1 Acting explores acting method and technical theatre from its origin to Shakespeare. For Best of PAVE you will see the culmination of our filmmaking class. Written and directed by our PAVE I students, the films star our PAVE III students. Inspired by poetry, the films show what the poem might look like if it was seen through a modern, high school lens.
