About Pippin

With an infectiously unforgettable score from four-time Grammy winner, three-time Oscar winner and musical theatre giant, Stephen Schwartz, Pippin is the story of one young man's journey to be extraordinary. Winner of four 2013 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival, this updated version of Pippin continues to captivate and appeal to the young at heart throughout the world.

Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power . In the end, though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day.

Performances of Pippin will be Friday, March 17th at 7:00pm, Saturday, March 18th at 7:00pm, and Sunday, March 19th at 2:00pm.

CHS Drama Club

CHS Drama club welcomes all students of the district in grades 7th through 12th grades. We offer free dance, vocal, acting and technical workshops throughout the school year. Each spring we put on a musical and are working toward putting on an annual fall production as well. We are a small school with students that are really invested in trying their hand at acting while they are doing other activities as well.

We strive to have a great presence of working together as team, finding out what each students niche is within the program. We welcome the student perspective while teaching how such a big production comes together in a short period of time.
