TIG: A Modern Retelling of Sophocles' ANTIGONE Cast

Bri Froese (Tig)
Senoir, Briana Froese is thrilled to take on the role of TIG and to be a part of this story with such an incredible cast. Bri is the Co-President of CMHS Drama Club and has performed as Mrs. Cratchit in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Rebecca in ANATOMY OF GRAY and SIR TOBY BELCH in TWELFTH NIGHT. She also directed the one act THE GAME and was the Asst. Director for MARIAN, OR THE TRUE TALE OF ROBIN HOOD. Even though this is one of her final high school shows, she is confident that acting will continue to be a part of her life after High School. Bri plans to attend college as a Film Acting Major. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Bailey Brusuelas (Cleo)
Bailey is a senior and overjoyed to be a part of the production TIG. She was last seen as Elizabeth in the award-winning one act production; Persuasion, and will be taking her final bow in Don't Yell Fire in a Theatre alongside the Advanced Acting class. This production has allowed her to fall completely in love with acting, and has influenced her exciting new journey studying film in the fall. Enjoy the show!
Oliver Lopez (Euro)
Oliver is a senior and is so excited to be sharing his last show with one of the best casts he could ask for. Oli first participated in theatre at CMHS through Technical aspects such as Theatrical Makeup, Set Construction, Sound Design and Run Crew. After his performance last year as the Sheriff of Nottingham in Marian: Or the True Tale of Robin Hood, he continued in theater as an actor. He is currently in the Advanced Acting class and his most recent performances at CMHS include Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Captain Wentworth in Persuasion, and Jack in Controlling Interest. He could not have gotten luckier with his cast and crew and cannot wait for what his future holds.
Madi Easdon (Izzy)
Madi is a sophomore and is beyond excited to perform in another show at Cheyenne Mountain High School! Madi was seen in last spring's production of MARIAN, OR THE TRUE TALE OF ROBIN HOOD as a guard and in THE A.I. PLAY for The Night of One Acts. This year, Madi performed in The Night of One Acts in PERSUASION and WHITE-TAILED SPIDER. Outside of theatre, Madi enjoys playing for the Cheyenne Mountain Girls Field Hockey team and looks forward to continuing to play in the future. Madi would like to thank her friends and family for their support as well as the entire Drama Department for allowing her to experience something new and meet so many new people. To all of the seniors leaving: I love you all so so so much and I am so happy that you are going to pursue what you love, but I will miss you all very much and wish you the best!
Charlize LeClaire (True)
is so excited to be working on this play! Her other works include Pride & Predjuice (Lady Cathrine De Bourgh), Guys and Dolls, Anatomy of Gray, Marian ,or the True Tale of Robin Hood (Alanna), and A Christmas Carol (Ghost of Christmas Present/Fezziwig). She's also been in many short films. She loves doing theater and stage work and is also represented by Formation Talent in Atlanta, Georgia. She also is a photographer and loves taking nature pictures. Charlize can't wait to bring Thebes to life. Enjoy the show!!!
David Laybourne (Hollis)
David is a junior and is so excited to be back on the stage at CMHS! Previous credits include Harry the Horse in GUYS AND DOLLS (CMHS), Nick in THE PROM!, and Aaron Fox in CURTAINS (CSC). At CMHS he is a member of Crimson & Slate, Dynamix, and Chorale. He has been dancing for 4 years and is trained in tap, ballet, and contemporary. He loves gymnastics, and playing in his band nømad! Thank you to Ms. P and Jenny for this incredible opportunity.
RJ Huebner (Chorus/Calli Musen)
RJ is a senior and is so excited to be in another production! She fell in love with the Drama Department after being able to do A CHRISTMAS CAROL last fall! RJ is a proud member of Metallics Jazz choir, Cheyenne Mountain Shadows Chorale, and Dynamix Show Choir! But outside of choir she is usually laughing with friends, doing AP homework, at a club meeting, creating posters, or working on her next painting!
Makenna Perrette (Chorus/Paige Mueller)
Makenaa, a 9th grader, is thrilled to be performing in her third show here at Cheyenne Mountain High School. Previously this year, Makenna was in A Christmas Carol as Belinda and Fan, and Game of Tiaras as Cinderella in A Night of One Acts. Outside of theatre, Makenna is working hard to master her trumpet and plays for the Cheyenne Mountain High School Wind Ensemble as well as Jazz 2.
Emery Jepson (Chorus/Jackie Taylor)
Emery is a junior and thrilled to be in her sixth Cheyenne Mountain High School show!! Favorites include Belva in ANATOMY OF GRAY, Tanner in MARIAN, OR THE TRUE TALE OF ROBIN HOOD and Kris in GAME NIGHT (HUMANS ONLY, PLEASE). Emery is a part of Drama Club, Advanced Acting, and Chorale this year. She was last seen on stage in our 3rd place winning One-Act, PERSUASION. She is excited and determined to keep doing theatre in her senior year. Thank you to Ms. P and Ms. Wisdom for every opportunity you have given me!!
Madi Pepper (Chorus/Remi Miller)
Madi is a junior and is excited to be in another production. She is a member of the Advanced Acting class as well as the Technical Theater class. She enjoys being able to participate in productions both on stage and off stage, especially creating set designs. Madi performed as Tiny in ANATOMY OF GRAY, Friar in MARIAN, OR THE TRUE TALE OF ROBIN HOOD as well as in the one acts CONTROLLING INTEREST and PERSUASION. Madi was the Set Designer for A CHRISTMAS CAROL and for TIG. Madilyn hopes to continue being an active member of the theater department throughout the rest of her time in high school.
Wyatt Sandmann (Chorus/Eros Musen)
Wyatt is a sophomore and so excited to be in the first ever production of TIG: A MODERN RETELLING OF SOPHOCLES’ ANTIGONE. Other credits include Homer in ANATOMY OF GRAY, a Guard in MARIAN, OR THE TRUE TALE OF ROBIN HOOD, The Ghost of Christmas Past in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and Smeagol in GAME OF TIARAS which was performed as a part of A NIGHT OF ONE ACTS. Wyatt has been involved in theatre since a very young age and is so proud of how much he has grown throughout his life. Wyatt hopes to pursue theatre in some sort of way later on in life. Many thanks to everyone in the cast and crew for supporting one another and helping each other shine. Wyatt would also like to thank Ms. Papproth for her never ending support through this process! Wyatt is beyond excited for his friends and family to see this amazing, touching story and hopes that everyone in the audience enjoys the show.
Azara Soong (Chorus/Natalie Cho)
Azara is a Junior with a love of music and performing. Azara was previously seen in SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE! JR., GUYS AND DOLLS, MARIAN, OR THE TRUE TALE OF ROBIN HOOD, and A CHRISTMAS CAROL. As a part of the Advanced Acting one act, PERSUASION, she played Henrietta. She also performed in one acts from years past including GAME NIGHT and WILD BUNCH WOMEN. Azara is very involved in the school's Choir program as a member of both Chorale and Metallics Jazz Choir. She is very proud of her involvement in last semester's production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, as she directed Vocal Music and Choreography while playing Clara's Sister. She is very excited to be working on TIG!
Maxine Gowen (Chorus/Adrian Pineman)
Born and raised in Colorado, Maxine fell in love with theater at a young age with the Steel City Theater Company and has continued with theater ever since. Currently a freshmanl, this is their third performance with the high school. You may remember them as Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol or Narrator 1 in Game of Tiaras. They are also involved in the Colorado Springs Conservatory with the show Metamorphosis. They hope you enjoy the show.
Sara Crozier (Chorus/Keelee Stone)
Sara is a freshman with a love for theatre formed in middle school. She enjoys the community of performing with others and the bond the cast creates. In her free time Sara reads and makes art, as well as plays video games with her best friend. Friendship is really important to her, so she is eternally grateful for the cast and crew and how welcoming they have been. Sara has been in 3 total plays – four including Tig- and her favorite role she filled was the Blood Packet Guy from GAME OF TIARAS performed at this year’s Night of One Acts. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Liam Largent (Chorus/José Pérez)
Liam is a sophomore and a member of DnD Club. You may remember him from his recent role as Prince Charming in GAME OF TIARAS or as multiple roles in A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Liam likes video games, music, singing, and legos. He loves theatre and intends to continue to pursue it for the rest of his high school career. Liam is very excited to be a part of this production of TIG.
Joseph Hildebran (Chorus/Wayne Coyne)
Joseph is a junior who is very excited to work with everyone in the production to put on an amazing show. After their debut in A CHRISTMAS CAROL as Jacob Marley, they’ve finally gotten a good taste of what being a moving part in a well-coordinated show is like! Now they’re committed to theater in all of its aspects. Joey also has musical accolades, specifically in bands where they’ve been enrolled for 7 years straight and are currently in a Wind Ensemble; the second highest band at Cheyenne Mtn. HS. Joey is also currently in the Dynamics Show Choir and Shadows Chorale at CMHS. Joey takes part in other clubs at CMHS, such as the CMHS TTRPG/DnD club.
Emmy Kindler (Chorus/Summer-Marie Bates)
A native of Colorado Springs, Emmy is a member of multiple things in her community such as Girl Scouts for her 10th year, and Choir as well as Speech & Debate at CMHS. She enjoys singing, swimming ,reading, being outside, and spending time with her friends and family. Emmy is extremely excited about being part of TIG.) This year and her past performances include A CHRISTMAS CAROL and ARISTOCATS.
Makenzy Egbert (Chorus/Maddy Carter)
Makenzy is really excited to be a part of TIG! This is her second show at Cheyenne Mountain High School after A CHRISTMAS CAROL in the fall. Makenzy enjoys doing improvisation and performing in plays. She has been involved in acting since 6th grade. Makenzy can be seen on AM@CM and enjoys the challenges in Video Production. Once again, she is very happy to be on stage and perform for the audience!
