A NIGHT OF ONE ACTS (2026) Cast

Bailey is a senior and so excited to participate in her last Night of One Acts! She was last seen on the Cheyenne Mtn. HS stage as Belle in A Christmas Carol and will appear next in Tig: A Modern Retelling of Antigone as Cleo. She hopes the audience enjoys the work she and her classmates have put into this performance!

Emma is in 11th grade and joined the Drama Dept. last year. She got to grow more confident in her acting skills after joining Beginning Drama and was thrilled to be double cast in The AI Play which performed in last year's Night Of One Acts. Emma is currently in Advanced Acting and is so excited to be in the Ensemble of PERSUASION. She enjoys where Drama has taken her and is looking forward to more acting, playwriting and great times with good friends.

Zakk is a senior and was in A NIGHT OF ONE ACTS a long time ago as a freshman in IDENTITY PLAY. Zakk is a an athlete who participated in football and wrestling. He took Beginning Drama when he was a freshmen and returned his senior year to be a member of Advanced Acting and is happy to take part in PERSUASION! After graduation, Zakk plans to trade stocks in the market, work as a Writer/Director, and may serve in the military. Zakk would like to thank his family for supporting him and encouraging him to return to Advanced Acting for his final year of high school. Zakk would also like to thank his teacher, Mrs.Papproth, for always being there for support, helping with clarification, and giving great feedback and ideas. Thanks to his fellow cast mates for keeping him positive and allowing him to experience a great year in Advanced Acting. He is very proud of all his friends in the cast and on the crew, and is super grateful that he has got to interact and work with such great people.

Atom is an up and coming author that is best known for his short story, 'The Fishermen and the Ocean.' Atom will be playing Charles Hayter in PERSUASION. He played a Security Guard last year in The A.I. Play in The Night Of One Acts and is currently a member of Advanced Acting. Atom also directed a cutting of one of his own plays 'A WITCH'S TALE,' a play about a small village in 16th century England that is under the blight of a witch. Atom will soon be publishing his first short story collection known as 'Profunda Laminis.'

Kingston is a Junior and a returning member of the Advanced Acting class. He has been seen in a few productions throughout his high school career, including Anatomy of Gray (Arthur), Wild Bunch Women (Silent Silas), and now in Persuasion and White-Tailed Spider as Brian. Kingston can’t wait to be a part of this Night of One Acts and future CMHS productions next year!

Madi is a sophomore and is very excited to be performing in the Night of One Acts for the second time! Madi played Eleanor in THE A.I. PLAY for the Night of One Acts last year and a Guard in MARIAN, OR THE TRUE TALE OF ROBIN HOOD. Madi also plays field hockey and hopes to continue improving and recruiting younger players to experience the game! Madi is looking forward to performing more for CMHS and meeting more awesome people who share her similar interest in acting! Madi would like to thank her family and friends for being so supportive and especially her little sister Ava who loves to come to shows and share her love of theater. She would also like to thank her classmates and Ms. P for always being so welcoming and encouraging!

Senior, Briana is performing in PERSUASION as Mary Musgrove and directing WHITE-TAILED SPIDER for The Night of One Acts. You have seen Bri in many performances at CMHS including: A Christmas Carol (Mrs. Cratchit/Ensemble), Anatomy of Gray (Rebecca), Guys and Dolls (Hot Box Dancer) and a variety of One Acts. This year she is most excited to see everyone perform and share their passion for theatre. As the saying goes, "Let the show begin."

Sydney is a senior in Advanced Acting

Lennie is a senior and is excited for their last Night of One Acts! This their first year in both AA and in Tech Theatre and their second Night of One Acts. They’ve previously performed in the cast of GUYS AND DOLLS (CMHS) LES MISERABLES (Rise) MARIAN, OR THE TRUE TALE OF ROBIN HOOD (CMHS) and A CHRISTMAS CAROL (CMHS). Enjoy the show!

Emery is a junior and so incredibly excited and grateful to be apart of her third Night of One Acts! She has been in the Chorale and Advanced Acting classes for two years now, and expects to finish out high school with the arts. Emery has also been seen on stage in Marian, or The True Tale of Robin Hood and Anatomy of Gray last year! Theatre and Ms P have given me so many opportunities and new friends, I will always be thankful for this community! I love you all!

Piper is so excited to be a part of this Night of One Acts! You may recognize her from winning the 2024 Cheyenne Mtn. HS Halloween group costume contest. She is thrilled to be a part of this production tonight and saddened that it is her last upon this stage. She has loved all 7 full length productions and 3 Night(s) of One Acts. She was so sad two years ago when she did not wear a regency gown in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, and is thrilled to be wearing one now. She hopes she sounds British enough and also nineteen years old enough. She also hopes you really really love the show!

Madi is a junior in Advanced Acting and in Technical Theatre

Niko is glad to be back on stage for The Night of One Acts. He has appeared in productions prior such as: A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Child Scrooge), THE ANATOMY OF GRAY (Ensemble), PRIDE AND PREJUDICE (Miss DeBourgh), GAME NIGHT (HUMANS ONLY, PLEASE) (Spot). Niko runs the Creative Writing Club and Board Game Group here at CMHS.

Mia is a sophomore and is so excited to be a part of Persuasion and Controlling Interest. This is her first year in Advanced Acting and she is so glad to have this opportunity. She has previously been in Anatomy of Grey, The A.I. play, and A Christmas Carol. She would like to thank her family for always supporting her and her goals for Theatre.

Azara is a junior in Advanced Acting

Gabriel is a senior and is very excited to have the opportunity to not only perform in an amazing play but also to engage more with other people. Gabriel performed in PUFFS as Harry Potter in 10th grade at Harrison High School before switching to CMHS for 11th and 12th grade. He performed at CMHS in The A.I. PLAY during the Night Of One Acts last year. Gabriel mostly stays in his own space and likes his independence but some of his hobbies include Acting (obviously), Drawing, taking walks in and admiring nature, and he has some experience singing. Gabriel has been SO happy to be a part of the Drama Dept. at CMHS and he thinks his fellow actors are the only ones who truly accept him for who he is. Gabriel loves feeling welcomed by CMHS Drama and will always remember the happy memories he made with everyone in Drama Class after High School.

David is a Sophomore and is excited to do this show. This is his second year and third show here at Cheyenne and he is working hard to portray the king. He has been in previous productions like: Marian, or The True Tale Of Robin Hood (Little John) and A Christmas Carol (Bob Cratchit). Outside of theatre, he likes to play baseball, talk with friends, sing and work out. In addition to the Black Box, you may have seen him onstage performing with CMHS Choirs.

Sara is a freshman at 15 years old and has lived in Colorado for three years! She's grown a love for theatre and being on stage, as well as different arts and crafts. In her free time you can find her playing video games with her friends and reading thriller books. Sara loves where she is in life and the friends she's made along the way; not just in theatre, but throughout her middle to high school career. Previously she participated in two other performances, one in middle school for kindergarteners, and another this year at CMHS for everyone, A Christmas Carol! On top of that, she is also currently cast in the ensemble in the upcoming spring play, TIG.

Maxine was born and raised in Colorado and fell in love with theater at a young age with the Steel City Theater Co. and continued with theater ever since. Currently a freshman, the Night of One Acts is their second performance with the high school. You may remember them as Tiny Tim and other roles in the recent production of A Christmas Carol. They are also involved in the Colorado Conservatory with the show Metamorphosis and in the Spring Play at CMHS, the world premiere of TIG. They hope you enjoy the show.

Liam is ecstatic to be in the one act GAME OF TIARAS for the Beginning Drama Class. He was most recently seen in A Christmas Carol as a member of the Ensemble taking on several roles. Prince Charming is his first lead role at a high school, although he was a lead in the 6th grade play! Liam was able to participate in the Co. State Thespian Convention this year and also loves to play D & D. Thanks to his parents and brother for their support.

Torie is a freshman and has never been in a production for this school before. Torie is so excited to be participating in this one act. She enjoys hockey and working out with her dad. She's proud to be in the show tonight, and she can't wait for her family to see it!

Makenna is excited to play Cinderella in this year's Night of One Acts! You may remember Makenna from her recent performance as Belinda/Fan/Ensemble in the CMHS production of A Christmas Carol. Outside of theatre, she is working hard in jazz band and wind ensemble with her trumpet.

Ashlyn is a military child and has lived in 9 places, calling Colorado Springs home since 2024. While living in Hawaii and Arizona, she performed in The Lion King, Seussical the Musical, and The Little Mermaid. While stationed in Korea, she was the youngest dancer in a travelling performing arts dance troupe. Most notably, Ashlyn has sung the National Anthem to kick off MLB Spring Training, as well as for elected officials inaugural ceremonies and every major airshow in the state of Arizona. She enjoys being a High School Cheer Captain and looks forward to competing at an All-Star level in the future. Ashlyn would like to thank her family, Ms. P, and her fellow students for this great opportunity!

Wyatt is a sophomore and is so excited to return to the CMHS stage for GAME OF TIARAS! Other CMHS credits include Homer in ANATOMY OF GRAY, Guard in MARIAN, OR THE TRUE TALE OF ROBIN HOOD, and The Ghost of Christmas Past in A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Stepping into the role of Smeagol was so comfortable and fun for Wyatt. He was really able to bring out his comedic side to embody this character. Wyatt is so so grateful to have an amazing cast/class of actors and an amazing crew that helped put this One Act together! Big thanks to Ms. Papproth for directing us through this shortened process! William is a 9th grader and while being interested in Drama for a few years, he is thrilled to be taking part in his first play at CMHS. He is also a part of the Dungeons & Dragons club and the Math cCub at CMHS. Additionally, he enjoys working on origami and cooking during his free time. He is very thankful to the wonderful people he’s met so far in Drama and his amazing family!
