About Mauritius

Stamp collecting is far more risky than you think. After their mother’s death, two estranged half-sisters discover a book of rare stamps that may include the crown jewel for collectors. One sister tries to collect on the windfall, while the other resists for sentimental reasons. In this gripping tale, a seemingly simple sale becomes dangerous when three seedy, high-stakes collectors enter the sisters’ world, willing to do anything to claim the rare find as their own.

Mauritius premiered on Broadway at the Biltmore Theatre on October 4, 2007. Directed by Doug Hughes, the production featured F. Murray Abraham, Dylan Baker, Bobby Cannavale, Katie Finneran and Alison Pill.

Chamberlayne Actors Theatre

In spring of 1964, a group of neighbors met at the new North Chamberlayne Civic Association (NCCA) building and decided they wanted to form a community theatre group.  They had no idea that they were planting the seeds for what is now a well-regarded professional theatre that has endured for over 60 years.
