The Alibis Creative

Director
Cathy Meadows
Mrs. Meadows has had an absolute blast directing The Alibis! Her favorite part of this process has been how much fun the cast made every single rehearsal. She loved getting to laugh, be a little ridiculous, and spend time with such an awesome group of students each day. Her favorite show that she has directed is Rock of Ages, but this one has been a great reminder of how special those everyday rehearsal moments can be. She would like to thank her amazing students (cast and crew) for their energy and positivity, as well as Howell and Tietz for their constant support and hard work.

Stage Crew Director
Kelcey Howell
Ms. Howell is a Stage Crew Director for The Alibis, a chaotic and fun murder mystery that she’s loved bringing to life. She’s really excited to see how everything comes together on stage and can’t wait to feel the energy from both the cast and crew during the show. That said… she’s also a little anxious to see how the doors hold up, since they’ve been one of the most difficult builds she’s ever taken on and have caused her more than a little stress along the way. Her favorite past productions include Rock of Ages, which is currently at the top of her list, and Bad Actors by Bad Auditions, mostly because the vibe of that show was just unmatched. She would like to give a huge thank you to Tietz and Meadows for being great co-directors through it all. She’s also grateful to the parents and teachers who stepped in when the doors became the hardest thing they’ve ever built, especially Chris Morgan, Simon Winegar, and Tullis.

Stage Crew Director
Jenn Tietz
Tietz is a Stage Crew Director for The Alibis and is both excited and a little nervous to finally see the show come together—especially since she hasn’t actually seen it all the way through yet. She knows some of the scenes get a little chaotic, but she’s confident it’s going to be a fun and memorable performance for everyone involved. Her favorite past productions include Rock of Ages for its energy and scale, and Greek Mythology for its complete ridiculousness and nonstop humor. She would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Howell and Meadows for their constant support—not just during this show, but in everything. She’s also incredibly grateful to Chris Morgan, Simon Winegar, and Tullis for stepping in and helping tackle the impossible task of building the doors.
