Paul Berg
became interested in theatre during grade school, eventually earning a degree in Acting and Directing from Illinois State University. Paul’s directorial accomplishments include: Twilight of the Golds, 27 Wagons Full of Cotton, A Boy’s Life, co-directed The Hunchback of Notre Dame and assistant directed The Laramie Project, Pride and Prejudice and Angels in America. He has worked professionally as an actor in theatre, radio, television and film in Chicago. Film work includes: ER, Chicago Hope, Early Edition, A Thousand Acres, Natural Born Killers and Chain Reaction. Theatre work includes: True West, It’s a Wonderful Life, Nightfall with Edgar Allen Poe, The Foreigner, Barefoot in the Park, and Ordinary People. Hugs and kisses to Adrienne, Lily and Emma for all the support during this production.

Mary Jo Hahn
Is a buckeye at heart, where she attended Ohio University majoring in music education. Musical theater is one of her loves for children and adults! She has been the music director for many musicals at the Carrollwood Cultural Center. She loves the music score of Titanic and couldn’t pick a better cast to sail with!

Is 23 years old and loves to play and have fun with everyone and also has a love for the theatre. I've also been seen doing spotlight and now assistant stage manager for Seussical. I hope to do more shows in the future with Carrollwood Cultural Center.

Story & Book

Peter Stone (1930-2003) was the first writer to win the Tony, the Oscar and the Emmy. With 15 Broadway productions to his credit, he received Tony Awards for his books to 1776, Woman Of The Year, The Will Rogers Follies and Titanic (all four also winning the Tony for Best Musical). His other Broadway credits include the musicals Two by Two (written with composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist Martin Charnin), My One and Only and Sugar. With Erich Maria Remarque he collaborated on the Broadway play Full Circle and in 1999 he adapted the book for the Tony-winning revival of Annie Get Your Gun. The author of more than two dozen feature films, he won an Academy Award for his screenplay Father Goose, the Edgar (Mystery Writers of America Award) for his film Charade (remade in 2002), and the Christopher Award for the screen adaptation of his own musical, 1776. Among his other films are The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3, Mirage, Arabesque, Sweet Charity, Skin Game, Who's Killing the Great Chefs of Europe? and Just Cause. His television credits included the acclaimed CBS series The Defenders (earning an Emmy Award) and the libretto adaptation of George Bernard Shaw's Androcles and the Lion, with songs by Richard Rodgers (NBC, 1967; stage premiere, 2002). From 1981-1999, Mr. Stone was President of The Dramatists Guild, the national society of playwrights, composers and lyricists.

Music & Lyrics

Maury Yeston’s music and lyrics include his internationally acclaimed Broadway musicals Nine and Titanic (both of which earned him Tony Awards for Best Score and Best Musical, as well as Grammy nominations) and Grand Hotel (Tony nomination, Olivier Award). The Broadway revival of Nine, starring Antonio Banderas, won an additional Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical. Yeston received Academy Award, Golden Globe and Critics Choice nominations for Best Original Song for the film of Nine, which featured Daniel Day Lewis, Sophia Loren, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman and Judi Dench. Off-Broadway are his additional musicals: Phantom, Death Takes a Holiday and In The Beginning.

He works in a wide variety of styles, from his symphonic Tom Sawyer – A Ballet in Three Acts, which premiered in Kansas City, Missouri as the first full-length ballet in our history to be created by an American composer and choreographer and based on an American literary masterpiece, to December Songs (a song-cycle commissioned by Carnegie Hall), his Cello Concerto premiered by YoYo Ma, his American Cantata commissioned by the Kennedy Center (premiered by the National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Leonard Slatkin) and the concept album Goya – A Life in Song written for Placido Domingo. He resides in New York City.
