Les Miserables: School Edition Cast
Aiden Sweeny (Jean Valjean)Aiden Sweeny (Jean Valjean): Aiden, a Senior, is thrilled to be portraying Jean Valjean in his 3rd and final musical at Caravel, Les Miserables. Aside from being in a handful of music ensembles at his school, he is a nine-time Delaware Allstate performer with the Choir, Band, Jazz Band, and Orchestra. He also enjoys writing and performing with his band. Next spring, he'll be at the University of Delaware pursuing Music Education and performing in the Marching Band. He wants to thank his parents, sister, and friends for their support, as well as his teachers for giving him so many opportunities.
Imron Koreshi (Inspector Javert)Imron Koreshi (Inspector Javert) is thrilled to perform Les Miserable for his senior year production. Imron started theater 2 years ago and has since performed in Grease and The Adams Family. When he's not performing in theater, you'll find him out fishing, kayaking, hiking, or doing photography. He wants to thank his parents for always supporting him and encouraging his acting since he was a little kid; he would also like to thank his friends who have made theater and high school an absolute blast! He also wants to extend his deepest gratitude to Mrs. Boggs and Mrs. Swindler who have made such incredible incredible shows and taught him how to be a much better singer. Madeline Duus (Cosette (Ensemble))Madeline is thrilled to be a part of Caravel Academy’s production of Les Miserables. While this is her tenth and final production here at Caravel, she does not intend to stop performing. She plans to major in musical theater and pursue performance at the professional level once she finishes her education. She would like to thank her friends and family, for always supporting her on and off stage; her past and present theater directors, Ms. Kylie Boggs, Mrs. Morgan Swindler, and Mrs. Tracy Friswell-Jacobs, for making her the performer she is today; her vocal teacher, Mrs. Kelly Busovsky, for sparking her passion for music and for always encouraging her to reach new heights; and her mom, Kimberly Duus, for always believing in her.
Thomas Binkley (Marius)Thomas is extremely excited to play Marius! He was recently seen as Ryan in High School Musical at Wilmington Drama League. He was also seen as Brit and Ja’keith Gill. He has been doing musicals since the 5th grade, and has fell in love with the arts since. You will find him playing 2k and hanging out with his friends. He wants to give a shout out to his mom, dad, sisters, and brother for supporting his dreams!
Meera Shah (Eponine)Meera is super excited to be playing Eponine at Caravel Academy's Les Miserables. She recently played Glinda in The Wizard of Oz for Community School of Music at University of Delaware. This is her fourteenth show and sixth show at Caravel. She recently just performed at Carnegie hall in February and has been during All State choir for three years now. She wants to thank her parents and her family for always supporting her in everything she does and she wants to thank her friends for always being there for her.
Kaavya Shah (Little Eponine (Ensemble))Kaavya is so excited to be in the show, Les Miserables. She is a 7th grade student at Caravel Academy. In her free time, she plays lacrosse, and field hockey. She has been in 6 other shows including 2 from Caravel Academy. She wants to thank her parents for driving her to and from practices every single day.
Owen Myers (Monsieur Thenardier)
Ava Dawson (Madame Thenardier)Ava Dawson is in the 11th grade, and is excited to be a part of her 9th production with the Caravel Academy Theater. While not on stage, she enjoys painting, drawing, and exploring many other art mediums. She extends love out to all of her family for supporting her artistic nature and nurturing her love for theater.
Tori Ehmann (Fantine (Ensemble))Tori is thrilled to be a part of Caravel Academy’s production of Les Misérables. After making her acting debut last year as Alice Beineke in The Addams Family, she feels very honored to be a part of the theater community and be on the stage again as Fantine. Tori is strongly committed to her studies as a musician, and enjoys playing the flute and singing in many different styles. Outside of the music space, you can find her writing or notetaking for various classes. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her musical endeavors, and sincerely wishes everyone enjoys the show!
Penelope Teague (Enjolras)Penelope Teague (Enjolras) is thrilled to be in her first production at Caravel! A member of the sophomore class of '28, this is her first year at Caravel. You'll find her with the CA Marching Band this fall as a member of Color Guard! Penelope has been doing theatre since she was 3. She recently worked with Streetlamp Productions on Beetlejuice JR (Machete Groom/Ensemble), and has been doing shows with them since 2022, with her favorites being The Addams Family (Uncle Fester) and SpongeBob the Musical (Squidward). Francesca Neville (Grantaire)
Drew Brandenburg (Gavroche)Drew is very excited to be in the Les Miserables cast! He loved playing as Gavroche at Caravel Academy in 6th grade. Drew has recently played Oliver (in Oliver the musical), a baseball player (in Adam’s Family), The Mayor of Munchkin Land (The Wizard of Oz), Flounder (The Little Mermaid), and Peter Pan (Shrek Jr.). When Drew has free time, he likes to play video games and go outside. You can find me on stage in many shows (usually in University of Delaware). Drew wants to appreciate his sister, Fiona, for cheering him up when he is sad and always being proud of him (She’s in this show too!). He would also like to appreciate his parents who go to his every show and let him chew sugar free gum and his friends that support him and help him with his homework.
Tristan Victor (Combeferre (Ensemble, Bamatabois))Tristan Victor (Combeferre) is excited to work in Caravel’s production of Les Misérables. He last worked in Caravel’s production of Grease as Vince Fontaine. He loves being a student here at Caravel. When he isn’t working in Les Mis, he’s busy traveling and playing football and baseball for Caravel. He just wants to thank his Mom, Dad, brothers, and his grandparents for always being there for him.
Paulina Borland (Joly)Paulina is thrilled to be a part of Les Misérables at Caravel. This is her 10th show at Caravel Academy, and she intends to complete an 11th during her Senior year. Outside of theater, Paulina plays guitar, participates in two of Caravel's choirs, and is a part of the Caravel Academy color guard. She would like to thank her mother, aunts, and cousins for supporting her in all that she does unconditionally.

Violet Lackey (Feuilly)Violet Lackey(Feuilly): Violet is so excited to be doing Les Mis. Last year was Violet’s first year doing the musical when she was featured as an ancestor in The Adam’s Family. Even though Violet has only been doing theatre for two years, she has been in choir since she was in kindergarten and decided to remain in it through all of middle school. Now as a freshman in high school Violet is part of both available ensembles and the musical as well as vocal lessons. In her free time, Violet enjoys Kickboxing and making jewelry. Violet wants to thank all her family and friends for always supporting her.
Trey Henderson (Courfreyac (Ensemble))Trey is very excited to return to the stage as Courfeyrac in Les Mis! At Caravel and the Everett Theater, he's been in the Ensemble of Grease, Schoolhouse Rock, and Moana. Last year, he had a breakout role as Pugsley in The Addam's Family. Trey is a 7th grader, and enjoys playing soccer and doing back flips. He wants to thank his Nana for the Tuesday pickups and dinner, and his Mom and Dad for encouraging him to do this and helping him along the way.
Jayden Sparacino (Ensemble (Featured Dancer))Jayden Sparacino (Featured Dance Ensemble) is grateful to be part of Caravel’s Les Misérables production and was seen last year as the Moon in the Addams Family. Jayden was also recently seen at the Everett Theatre in her choreography debut this past summer with Jungle Book Kids and in February performing in the production of Freaky Friday the Musical. When not at school and theater, Jayden dances at Bella Dance Center where she is also a student teacher for the younger dancers. She would like to thank her sister for practicing the show with her at home and Ms. Boggs for the great theatre experience! Enjoy the show!
Jordan Sparacino (Ensemble (Featured Dancer))Jordan Sparacino (Featured Dance Ensemble): Jordan is excited to be a part of the Les Mis cast at Caravel Academy. Although this is her first show at Caravel, she has been seen at the Everett Theater in various shows including Something Rotten Jr., Honk Jr., and Moana Jr. She has also been seen in Little Mermaid Jr. at Milton Theatre. She loves to dance in her free time and takes classes at Bella Dance Center. Jordan would like to shout out her parents for bringing her to rehearsals.
Myles Mallari (Ensemble (Featured Dancer))Myles Mallari is a sixth grade student and is excited to be part of this year’s production of Les Miserables as a constable and featured dance ensembles. He previously appeared in the Addams Family with the Caravel Theater and is thrilled to be back on stage. Myles is currently enrolled in University of Delaware Community Music School, where he continues to grow his passion for music and performance. He would like to thank his family, friends, and teachers for cheering him on, being his audience during spontaneous performances, and supporting his love of the stage!
Nirali Walekar (Ensemble (Old Woman))Nirali Walekar (Ensemble): Nirali is thrilled to participate in Caravel Academy's production of Les Misérables. In her free time, Nirali enjoys, reading, writing, biking, and napping. She also participates in choir, Youth in Government, and CSG as the senior class treasurer. Katelyn Tice (Bishop of Digne (Ensemble))Katelyn Tice (The Bishop): Katelyn is super excited to be playing the Bishop this year, adding on to her growing collection of old ladies played (Fairy Godmother, Mama Bear, and Miss Lynch). She is very involved in music, and this year she has been a part of Women’s Ensemble, Elite Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, an ethnic German band, All-state Choir, and is currently working on writing (and potentially publishing) her own songs.
Syndey Fitzpatrick (Babet (Ensemble))Sydney Fitzpatrick (Babet/Featured Ensemble) is a sixth grade student, looking forward to playing Babet and being part of the featured ensemble in Caravel’s production of Les Misérables. Sydney has been in four previous musicals including Seussical, School House Rock Jr., Pure Imagination, and Once Upon a Time. Along with performing, Sydney also loves to figure skate and read in her free time. She is grateful to be a part of this production and would like to thank her family, friends, fellow cast members, and director for their support.
Fiona Brandenburg (Ensemble (Featured Dancer, Girl 5))Fiona Brandenburg is very excited to be playing featured dance ensemble in the show 'Les Miserables' with the solos of factory girl and laborer. She was recently in the show 'The Wizard of Oz' and played Dorothy at the University of Delaware. Within the same time frame, she got accepted into the program 'Broadway Evolved' in NYC. Fiona goes to Caravel Academy as a 10th grader and wants to go into theater as a career. For fun, Fiona dances at Del Arts and draws. She would like to shout out her family for always being so supportive and her cast mates for making the experience so fun.
Riley Cardillo (Farmer (Featured Dance Ensemble))Riley Cardillo (Farmer and Featured Dance Ensemble) is super excited to be part of her first school play, Les Miserables School Edition. Riley has enjoyed being a student at Caravel Academy for 8 years and is currently in 5th grade. Last year in 4th grade, Riley participated in a theater club and loved it so much, she just had to do theater again! Riley plays ice hockey and goes to her gym about 2-3 times a week. Georgia Schreppler (Claquesous (Ensemble))Georgia is thrilled to be part of Les Misérables this year after making her musical debut in last year’s production of The Addams Family! This is her second show, and she’s having an absolute blast being on stage. When she’s not at rehearsal, Georgia loves creating art, getting lost in a good book, and spending time with animals. One day, she hopes to become a zoologist (and probably befriend every animal she meets along the way!). Georgia would like to thank her mom and her family for always supporting her and cheering her on in her theater adventures.

Johnathan Nguyen (Stage Crew)He, Jonathan Nguyen, will be milking this bit again for this year as well. He, Jonathan Nguyen, is part of set crew for Les Mis and he, Jonathan Nguyen, has also been a part of the set crew for Grease and The Addams Family. He, Jonathan Nguyen, has a Ph. D. in every subject on Earth, in fact, he, Jonathan Nguyen, invented the idea of a Ph. D., but forgot to patent the idea, so unfortunately, it was stolen by Wilhelm von Humboldt. He, Jonathan Nguyen, will be chemically engineering in Philadelphia after the year ends, please do not come find him, Jonathan Nguyen. He, Jonathan Nguyen, would like to shout out him, Jonathan Nguyen, for supporting him, Jonathan Nguyen, in his, Jonathan Nguyen, endeavors, and also the friends in theater that made these years enjoyable.
Kylah Temple (Montparnasse (Featured Dance Ensemble))Kylah is a ninth grade student at Caravel Academy. She is in the Caravel Academy Glee Club, Women's Ensemble, and Elite Ensemble. She enjoys singing, dancing, acting, and eating. This is her third musical at Caravel and her eight musical overall. She is so excited to showcase this role because she feels it will show her ability to play all different kinds of characters from the sassy Cha-Cha in "Grease" to the sneaky Montparnasse in "Les Mis." She would like to thank her family and friends for their undying love and support throughout the years.
Sam Rousseau (Stage Manager)Sam is very excited to be the Stage Manager for Caravel Academy's production of Les Misérables. She has been involved in theater for four years. For the past two years, she has been stage manager for Caravel's production of The Addams Family and Grease. When she's not at theater, Sam enjoys playing the saxophone and being outside. She would like to thank her parents for supporting her passions and her friends for pushing her to stay involved in theater.
Anika Narayanan (Army Officer/Onlooker (Ensemble))Anika is a bright and enthusiastic 5th grader who loves learning new things and taking on creative challenges. She enjoys reading, science experiments, and working on fun projects with her friends. Anika is also passionate about theatre—she loves performing, expressing herself on stage, and working with her castmates to bring stories to life. When she’s not in school, Anika likes drawing, playing sports, and spending time with her family. She is known for her curiosity, kindness, and positive attitude in everything she does.
Tina Mazani (Ensemble (Soloist & Featured Dancer))Tina is a 7th grade student who is very excited to be a part of this production. It is her very first and she is having so much fun. When not doing theater Tina enjoys playing soccer and watching shows. She is excited to continue growing and maybe be a part of future productions.
Aryana Kadakia (Ensemble (Soloist & Featured Dancer))Aryana is very excited to be a part of Les Misérables. This is her first production, and she is thrilled to be making her stage debut as a 7th grader. Outside of theater, she plays lacrosse and field hockey and has taken dance classes since she was 4. Kiara Polepalli (Ensemble (Featured Dancer))Kiara is very excited for this performance. It is her first time getting into theater. She loves being a 9th grader at Caravel Academy. Kiara enjoys dancing, playing table tennis, badminton, and volleyball, and drawing with oil pastels! She is hoping to join the volleyball team or color guard next year. Morgan Maus (Fauchelevant (Ensemble))Morgan is very excited to play Brujon and Fauchelevant in Les Mis. She is a 7th grader at Caravel Academy. When she is not in school Morgan enjoys playing volleyball and watching TV. She was on the Caravel Academy volleyball A team for the past 2 years and plays travel volleyball for Premier. Tripp Mendoza (Lesgles (Ensemble, Pimp))Tripp Mendoza is extremely exhilarated to make his theatre debut as Lesgles in Caravel Theatre. In his free time, he enjoys playing piano and exploring his creative endeavors through drawing and creating his own characters. Throughout the school year, Tripp is often found in the band room, playing in Caravel’s Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. Sabrina Randazzo (Ensemble (Soloist & Featured Dancer))Sabrina Randazzo is making her acting debut as a member of the ensemble in Caravel’s production of Les Misérables. She is a fifth-grade student at Caravel Academy. Outside of school, Sabrina enjoys competing in gymnastics and helping out at her family’s restaurant. In her free time, she also loves crafting, makeup, and skincare. She would like to thank her mom, dad, and grandparents for their constant support and for always driving her to and from her activities.
Anderson Wu (Stage Crew)This is Anderson’s first play/show and he is excited. He loves airplanes, and he enjoys being a 5th grader at Caravel. He knows a lot about geography and spends his free time reading. His favorite author is Stuart Gibbs. He thanks his mom and dad for encouraging him to do this.
Rian Johnson (Stage Crew)Rian is a 5th grade student at Caravel Academy. She loves drawing in her free time, doing gymnastics, and going on family vacations. Math is her favorite subject, and she's an active part of the school’s theater program. She will be serving as a crew member for the upcoming Les Misérables show, bringing her creativity and teamwork behind the scenes.
Ryanne Mendoza (Stage Crew)Ryanne is a part of stage crew in Les Miserables. She has been apart of stage crew for the past two years, participating in Grease and Addams Family. As a senior at Caravel Academy, she partakes in multiple after school programs but is most notably apart of all of the upper school bands as a clarinetist. Ryanne would like to thank her friends for informing her of this way to earn service hours and for making rehearsals feel a little shorter than they actually are.
Sienna Smith (Stage Crew)Hi! Sienna Smith is stage crew and she is really exited because she loves to make things. This is the first show I have ever done, and she is so thrilled. Sienna is in 6th grade at Caravel Academy. She is a super crafty person, and she learned how to crochet on her own. She love theater and playwrighting. She has always loved everything about theater. She'd like to thank her family for all the support, and her friends who encourage me to do things she is nervous to do.
Noah Sullivan (Stage Crew)Noah is excited to be in stage crew this year. He is in 7th grade, and has no past experience. In his spare time, he likes to play video games and build legos. He plays the saxophone and joined the CAMB last year and had a great season. He wants to thank his family for being supportive and caring, and he would like to thank his friends for being friends.
Jude Class (Stage Crew)I am excited for my first performance, even if it’s just stage crew, at Caravel. I have really enjoyed my first year here, and am looking forward to my next few years here. My first two performance, which were both stage crew, were at my previous school, Townsend Elementary School.

Shannon Kittle (Stage Crew)Shannon Kittle is thrilled to be returning to the Caravel Theatre Stage Crew for Les Misérables! It is their mom’s favorite show and they already knew most of the plot. They have been a stagehand for Stage Left during last year’s performance of the Addam’s Family. Shannon is presently on an epic quest to defeat the evil monster that is middle school, and they are in their seventh year of school as a total. They also volunteer at the SPCA (mostly to spend time with the kitties), and they participate in a young writer’s program where they hope to fulfill their dreams of being a successful writer. Shoutouts go to all their friends for generically being awesome and weird in the best ways.
Luke Schreppler (Stage Crew)Luke is a seventh grader at Caravel Middle School. This is the first play that he has contributed to as crew member. Luke enjoys playing football, wrestling, lacrosse, and summer swims. He likes to hang out with his friends, play video games, and go to the beach with his grandparents. Luke participates in band as well. He is happiest when he is building things so being part of the crew was an easy fit!
Isabella AnneMarie Schreppler (Ensemble (Featured Dancer))Isabella is a fifth grader at Caravel Middle School. This is Isabella second play, and she really looks forward to contributing! When she is not at school, she is involved in travel soccer, competition cheer, summer swim, and looks forward to trying field hockey this coming spring. She loves to run, dance, sing, and draw in her spare time. She has two older brothers that she likes to spend time with as well.
Kayleigh McArthur (Little Cosette (Ensemble))Kayleigh McArthur (Young Cosette/Ensemble) is excited to join the stellar cast of Les Misérables (School Edition) in her debut performance at Caravel! As a 5th grader, she plays alto saxophone and is a member of Chorus, Honors Choir, and Glee Club. Kayleigh has been dancing for seven years at Cecil Dancenter and is no stranger to the stage! Some of her most recent stage credits include Young Fiona in Shrek the Musical (Phoenix Festival Theatre), Gingy/Sugarplum Fairy in Shrek: The Musical Jr. (Streetlamp Productions), and Nemo in Finding Nemo Kids (The STAR Centre of Havre de Grace). This past fall, she had the opportunity to perform in Disney Springs with Streetlamp Productions’ show choir. Kayleigh thanks her family, Ms. Boggs, Mrs. Busovsky, and her vocal coach, “Mr. Dave,” for all their love and support.
Light Director (Phoenix (Steph) Garland)Phoenix is excited to make their debut in Les Miserables. This is their first year doing crew as well as their first year in the theater program. Over the previous summer, Phoenix worked with lights (among other things) and is excited to use this experience for many shows to come. Phoenix is obsessed with music and takes every chance they can get to be in the school's marching band, wind ensemble, and jazz band among other clubs and experiences. Phoenix would like to thank their mom for always being by their side and no matter what, helping them through everything!
