Te Shawn Bush (Himself)Te Shawn Bush is thrilled to be a part of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind. He is a third-year biology major. He has aspirations of being an anesthesiologist and will be graduating in 2026. This is Te Shawn’s third show at CSUSM and his first show with the Bluelight Theatre Company. His past credits include Frank Lubey in All My Sons and Mortimer Mortimer in Failure: A Love Story. Te Shawn would like to thank his family and friends for coming to support him as well as the cast for being such a pleasure to work with.
Payne Fraser (Himself (and Director))Payne is a senior Theatre major who is excited to play his dream role in Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind: himself. As well as being an actor in the show, Payne is debuting his role as a director. Previous acting credits include Bluelight Theatre’s production of The Trail to Oregon! (Father), All My Sons (George), and Newsies (Pulitzer). You can see Payne in his final CSUSM role at the next spring production of Gruesome Playground Injuries as Doug! He would like to thank his cast for believing in him—of which they reassured him every rehearsal—and everyone who came to support him and his friends.
Alyce Goudy (Herself)Alyce is a Theatre major with a minor in Art, Media, and Design, currently in her final semester. She is thrilled to be a part of this production and is excited to share the stage and have fun with her talented friends. Her previous credits include performances in Failure, A Love Story and Vinegar Tom, as well as her stage management experience for the play The MF with the Hat. As with all of her artistic endeavors, Alyce dedicates this performance to the memory of her late father, whose love and support continue to guide her and inspire her every day. Lastly, she would like everyone to know that she has three cats, three of them! Thank you for coming!
Morgan Harris (Herself)Morgan is in her junior year here at CSUSM as a biology major. She has been in other productions on campus such as Detroit '67, All My Sons, and The Trail to Oregon! She is so excited and happy to have worked on this show with her friends and can't wait for you to watch! Morgan is looking forward to what comes next and hopes to continue acting for years to come. She wants to thank you all for watching! :)
Natalie Hinton (Herself)This is Natalie’s first production as a newly-transferred junior at CSUSM. Studying business administration with a focus in Human Resources management, Natalie has always had a love for acting. She has previously performed in roles such as Jane Bennet in Pride and Prejudice as well as Lilith in She Kills Monsters. She is grateful to have the opportunity to return to the stage. She would like to thank her mother and her boyfriend for their unwavering support during this journey.
Jewel Jones (Herself)Jewel Jones is a second year Global Business major with a minor in Theatre Arts! She is so excited to make her debut with Blue Light Theatre Company in Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind! Recent credits include CSUSM's Spring 2025 production of As You Like It (Papa Corin/Ensemble), CSUSM's Fall 2024 production of Vinegar Tom (Betty). Jewel loves performing and is so grateful for every chance she gets to show her skills on stage!
Em Schweim (Themself)Em is over the moon to be performing in Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind with all of their friends in Blue Light! This is their third production at CSUSM, and their first semester as the President of the Bluelight Theatre Company. Previous credits include Bluelight Theatre’s The Trail To Oregon (Son), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Nick Bottom), and Newsies (Race.) They are ecstatic to present this production and had so much fun working on the show. Anthony Varon (Himself )Anthony Varon is a third year Finance major with a Theatre minor. Last semester, he was in his first CSUSM production, The Motherf*cker with the Hat, and is excited to be in his first Bluelight Theatre Company production.
